I admire how keen she was to SING during this era.

I Care was all the proof that was needed. She always slays a song on each album. People gonna hate regardless.
I'mm need Speechless, Pt II on this new album though

I do have all her albums...I know. She was very experimental with her vocals on Dangerously in Love and 4. She played it safer on I Am...

She sings every era the only era where her voice was the least focussed was B'day.

I think what can be said is that her approach has changed. There is a noticeable difference in how she sings in DIL to B'Day to I Am to 4. The last three are more robust, more direct, less heady. DIL was more standard R&B vocals as opposed to the later eras.

I love when she gets aggressive but it was a bit OTT at times on 4, like every single song...it's like umm OK Bey, we get it, Jay is smashing it good, chill. X__X

Nope it was made during the DIL, and did not get put on the album. I think Beyonce released it as a part of a mixtape. There is another version where she speaks on the intro about the release of this song instead of the icecream truck sounds at the beginning.

Compared to Naghty Girl ,Baby Boy,That's Why You Like It,Me Myself I,Crazy In Love, and Hip Hop Star. All of these sound better live ."4" is my fave vocal album b/c even on the uptempo's she is singing. Her vocals sound to smooth for me on DIL.I love when she takes a more aggressive approach.

Not liking the song but that C6 was nice and I'm liking your detail with the notes, especially the runs.

LMAO I think she went all extra b/c alot of her fans who support her for vocal talent have been feeling left out the last 2 albums.I mean B'day was to childish compared to DIL.IASF was way to gimmicky so she wanted to bring her vocals front and center. As well as the fact their still ppl who would say she can't really sing so she reminded them.

Each album have a different approach to vocals. B'day vocals were aggressive to match the music.I AM were soft to represent another side of her,it wouldn't have sounded rite had she been abrasive."4" has the strongest vocals b/c she didn't hold back.DIL vocals are my least fave only a few songs vocally stick out IMO.It sounds better live.
