I feel like the aliens wouldn’t get a box because they would just be shipped over to pizza planet in a cardboard box to fill up the claw game, and that guy happened to take three and put them up in his car.
Yeah I feel they would probably be sold individually in like clear plastic bags and in cheaper packaging lol I still am grateful for the box though I think it’s cool too.
For whatever reason, they always seemed flocked to me, like they had some kind of thin, soft fuzz on the surface of their heads and hands. Obviously, they’ve never been flocked in real life, but whenever I watch the (at least the first two) movies, they seem like they’d be somewhat fuzzy on the green parts of the toy. I don’t know if anyone else thinks this, but that’s just how I saw them as a kid.

The logo is actually covered up on Mr. Potato Head’s box, but what interests me is how the one he shows outside of the box has brown legs instead of blue, almost as if the one he’s showing here wasn’t the final product, but the closest thing to it.

I refuse to believe that Andy bought woody from a store or had a dad, I think that woody was passed down from a grandparent to his mom to him because Woody’s Roundup was around 1949-1957 because Sputnik was launched and later on astronauts went to space and children only wanted to play with “Space Toys” as Prospector Pete once said and there was a good chance that one of Andy’s grandparents were a kid the time it came out, and ended as a teen, but that’s just a theory we may never know.
Andys dad could of still been younger as a dad it adds up. 1957 let’s say Andy’s dad is 10 and in his 20s he had Andy and then died and then by 1995 that could make sense.

Andy would have been born somewhere around 1987, give or take, which would have made Andy’s dad around 40 had he been about 10 years old in ‘57 when Woody’s Roundup ended. But his dad would not have been in his twenties in the late ‘80s had he been a child in the ‘50s. Also, I believe the divorce theory over the dead dad theory, considering that his mom doesn’t wear a wedding ring while her youngest child is still an infant (under 18 months); if the father had died, it would have had to have been early on in the pregnancy (possibly even before Mrs. Davis learned she was pregnant), as usually a lot of widowed spouses will keep their wedding rings on during the grieving period. Also, not to mention that there isn’t a single picture of an adult man or any family portraits seen on the walls of the house in the first movie, definitely implies divorce or that the father took off (which was actually quite a common story thread in the ‘90s and early ‘00s).
John Lassiter, these versions are the best versions of the toy story toys, Disney store. We have more accurate phrases Buzz has the button that automatically pushes up this helmet. He has the karate chop action. Does your way buzz light you have that no so who really made the best movie accurate Buzz Lightyear because John Lassiter’s been real quiet ever since that question was ask
I have been collecting these toys for 13 years. Sorry to say but stores don’t sell collection or signature collection anymore. I think they might come back when and if Toy Story 5 comes out. They seem to only be in stores for the movie promotion then after a year or so they stop selling them. The best times to buy toy story toys was in 2009-2011 (for Toy Story 3 movie promotion) and then in 2019 (for Toy Story 4 movie promotion), outside that time it’s hard to find, only eBay. So they only sell them for fast profit during movie promotional times. I really think it’s just a business strategy to cash out after the hype of a movie release.

Well they tried I guess I still love the toys! It’s the best we ever got from an official toy company even until this day, with the exception of a few good Disney store toys for Zurg and Toy Story 4 Bo Peep.

Rex doesn’t have his jaw articulation at the neck and his head doesn’t spin 360, so I’d say maybe around 90-97% accurate.
