If Thinkway Toys still had the license, it would be really cool to see them produce more waves for the collection line. I’d like to see characters like Hamm, Slinky, and Zurg get their own Toy Story Collection figures.

I heard Thinkway wanted to makes hamm in a red barn box, a zurg and prospector in boxes we see in toy story 2 but Disney wanted toys from toy story 3 since that was they're new project at the time we thry made lotso, dolly, pricklepants, and buttercup instead

Hamm actually got a Toy Story Collection model but was discontinued after only selling 1, & I own the only TSC Hamm, & I am currently selling it for 55 Million Dollars

the cloud pattern soldiers are actually a completely different from the white and signature, the clouds ones are posing differently...
So I’m learning everyday there is many variants inside the waves too which makes sense as the transition periods there is some “bleed over” when changing. It’s entirely possible there is “early” and “later” editions. So I believe maybe there is some cloud versions right before white logo that basically became white logo stock before they finished off the cloud logo buckets. My theory!
Cloud made the best toys. So signature collection made in 2011, I wonder they brought back in Toy story 4 in 2019, so came back in 8 years?
I also know 20th anniversary were re released in 2015.
Yes some toys came back to the stores in 2019 but not all
There are still some Signature Jessie and Bullseye dolls at a store here were i live, they're the only that dint get absolutely wiped from the shelves after the whole TS4 craze.
Thinking of buying them so they arent left without an owner :)

Cloud logo will always be the best quality wave imo. Sure white and signature had more releases but I'm a quality > quantity guy

I really hope these return one day, whether it be from Thinkway Toys if they return or a new company. Toy Story will always have new fans as the years go on and the demand for screen-accurate toys will rise.

I hope so too. I loved how these looked back when they were announced and spent ages staring at them in stores, watching reviews of them, watching the John Lasseter videos. I was in school and had no income at the time but I wanted them all. Now that I have money, they're getting harder and harder to get. Especially the characters that weren't re-released several times like Mr Potato Head

Why did they reproduce the Bucket O' Soldiers for Toy Story 4 and not RC or Rex? The green army men weren't even in the movie but RC and Rex were
I think because the soldiers are very easy and cheap to produce/make and Rex and RC are harder to make and probably more expensive to make in the toy factory since they are electronic toys but it’s just my guess.

I got my first buzz and woody toy story collection by thinkway toys circa 2010, back then i really wanted to get rex, mr. Potato head etc, but i got no money. Now i have the money but i cant get the toys.

I remember back in 2019 since Toy Story 4 is coming out soon and I went to Target I saw Toy Story Signature Collection Woody, Buzz only and I never chance to get them. I was sad it gone. And it's been one year since 2019.

I know this sounds crazy and far fetched but what if someone picked up the license to bring back Thinkway? I really would hate to see this line be absent from Toy Story 5’s release. This was a great line of toys and I remember the thrills of going into Walmart, Target and Toys R Us and seeing those. My gosh I miss those days.

I'm pretty sure I got Dolly, Buttercup and Pricklepants all in a US store. I don't recall buying any off eBay at a premium. Mine all have the white logo. I have 2 sets... one unboxed on display and one set left in box. Can I retire off these? haha

This is just about collection and signature collection not every thinkway toy ever made. Hawaiian vacation woody, buzz, Jessie were not part of collection or signature collection.

Can you give any tips about on how to find cloud pattern easier as I can’t find them that often on eBay and if there’s any other websites I can check to find the first way of these toys as I want to start a toy story collection so one day if these go more rare I can sell them for a lot if I have the full collection
It’s near impossible because the demand keeps going up due to popularity and they stopped making cloud pattern in 2009 which was already rare to begin with. Cloud pattern was only being made for 1 year back then and never again..because it changed to white logo and then yellow signature. It doesn’t mean it’s not possible to get, you just have to put the work in and search the internet everyday until you land one but the prices are crazy lately as of 2022. My advice search everyday, it might take you 7-8 months or even a year! Never give up and one day you can have one.
I Found a cloud pattern woody on eBay and I bid on it but the seller said it was broken
I have a random question for you about Toy Story Collection Buzz. On the White Logo and Signature Collection versions, the wing sensor is in the green-light wing. However for Cloud Logo Wave 1, they have the wing sensor in the red wing. They also activate flying sounds when you push the red button too. I've seen a few videos of that and I was wondering if all Cloud Logo Buzzes had that or if it was just a Wave 1 thing. I'd love to see an electronics comparison between all of the Collection Buzz Lightyears since there are actually quite a few differences.
I’ve heard this is only a wave 1 thing from my research and what other fans have told me over the years.

i shouldve bought woody back in 2009. im almost 28 & have the signature version of him, buzz, bullseye, jessie, sarge & the soldiers & the aliens. i still love them tho. i got rex at toys r us too b4 they closed but hes not the signature one. he doesnt talk & just stands there. hes still awesome tho. woodys my favorite like andy & hes the first one i got there 8 years ago! i got him with me right now & i promised him i’ll always love him & take care of him no matter how old i am!!! i didnt care if i was 19!!! lotso was there too but i didnt get him so no he wasnt left behind. slinkys my second favorite cuz im a dog person & he was his best friend b4 buzz. the signature jessie i have doesnt talk when i pull her string just once. i have 2 pull it over & over 4 her 2 talk. it pisses me off. i shouldve got a different one. i bought bullseye from amazon in 2018, got slinky 4 christmas that year, potato head 4 my birthday in 2019 & mrs potato head 4 christmas that year. i got the aliens 4 my birthday two years ago. when i play with woody & buzz sometimes i tell them they mightve said goodbye but as long as theyre with me theyll have each other & all be 2gether 4 infinity & beyond like it shouldve been. im glad toys r us opened back up in macys but i hope they open their actual stores back up like they were gonna b4 stupid fucking covid. i still love it & toys

Hi its me again i can confirm that i have both dolly and butter cup and if my memory serves me correct i bought both of them online disney store i can remember i was on the fence buying them they were up for three weeks then sold out when they restock them bk again i immediately hit the buy button fearing i would miss them again i looked bk on website 2 days later and seen they were no longer available i do wish to send you pics as they came with a very interesting sticker on the back i like you to see is there a way to send you pic? Also i live is the US so i can confirm they were here for a moment

I don't know still, why did they changed logos (Cloud-white-signature) for each same Toys.
They made changes to their toys for production. My theory it was looking over the used materials to make more profit. That’s why they changed the logos and settled on signature.

I got Toy Story Collections Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Bullseye, Green Aliens, RC, Bucket Army Soldiers, and Lotso from Toys R Us and I got Toy Story Collection Mr. Potato Head from Kmart and Toy Story Signature Collections Mr. Pricklepants, Bo Peep, Duke Caboom, and Bunny from Target. Toy Story Signature Collection Ducky was gone when I went back so I'm still ordering him he's $20. I couldn't find Toy Story Collections Rex and Buzz with Utility Belt somehow they were hard to find at stores in Florida hope to order them and I hope to order Toy Story Collections Dolly and Buttercup.

I saw 2 in boxed cloud logo in ebay, and both of them, has a darker colour jeans, in zedabyu and your video the cloud logo woody has a lighter colour, i’m not sure they did some dodgy stuff or..?
There is many scams on eBay, they switch the woody doll in the cloud box..

The demand wasn’t there at the time for that much volume. Thinkway toys is a small company they are not Disney company.
