WTF? I just had a random youtube journey, starting on Slender videos, finishing with watching a 2 hour video of all the stanley parable endings, then I click TH-cam home and the first video I see is Gopher playing the Stanley Parable. Am I still in the game? Is this the "Gopher" Ending?
you're right. i was thinking of any time leaving the office, which would make the line the - um - 3rd instance or so, which doesn't make much sense in this context.
I'm so glad you decided to play this game Gopher! When I played through it about a month ago I thought to myself how funny it would be to watch you play, not disappointed in the least.
i really like how gopher got it very early on, LPers with less intelligence, or at least attention span, will never be able to pull that off. *cough* pewd *cough* it's quite amazing to see a blind LP of this game long after its release, and of this quality no less.i am looking forward to the rest.
Really love this game, and i love to see other people's reactions when they play this game for the first time. Very good decision to Let's Play this, Gopher. Better late than never. :)
It is an interesting game I find it frightening the way the narrator talks about killing Stanley calmly and I love Gopher reactions and thoughts hope to see more.
I remember loving my first few playthroughs. The only way it all makes sense is if you consider that we're *all* Stanley, all the while *not* being Stanley. The game makes it fairly clear the Narrator is speaking to Stanley alone, and almost never to the player. There's one ending where we more or less split away from our avatar and leave the Narrator and Stanley stranded at the room with two doors. We can look through the ceiling and down to Stanley's body - but he just stands there, inert. All the while, the Narrator's pleas for something, *anything* to happen, turn desperate. They both exist according to the whims of the player. If you turn your computer off or close the game, there's no Stanley Parable. In a game about choice, the two concerned entities have no choice whatsoever, while we are limited to what the game has to offer. The only choice we have, outside of the game, is to stop playing. It's a bit perplexing.
Loved the video! Very amusing to watch haha. I've been thinking about it recently watching his, Gopher, Skyrim videos and all of his rp'ness and was thinking he might very well enjoy playing through Dragon Age Origins as a series. It he's said otherwise against it, I apologize, just felt like I could share NY thoughts.
I was playing The Stanley Parable for the last 2 hours and I've realized they added quite a lot of new stuff since it came out. I first played it when it came out and it was so much simpler. The new content is not bad at all, although I didn't like the Minecraft part ( I do love Minecraft btw) but I did love how he dropped into a different version of the game. I recognized his office in previous version, and walls. Game is still amazing, even better then version 1
Well, I just had a really interesting experience. If you can convince a friend of this perhaps the experience could be shared, cause I thought it was really cool. I watched both the "Prelude Video" and 10 minutes into this video without realizing that my sound was turned off and for some reason I thought nothing of it. I thought this might be some sort of horror game. I thought the total silence and then Gopher moving the mouse at the end of the prelude was purposeful and slightly dramatic\creepy. Then on this one I just read the subtitles and watched for 10 minutes until I noticed the sound meters dancing. Dang. I honestly thought this was a new concept, a silent game where you have to decide whether or not to do what the game wants or something. Hmm. You deaf people just might be onto something there! ;-)
I had been holding off on watching any LPs of this game with the intention to play it (possibly LP it) blind myself, but you know what? Watching Gopher play it blind is infinitely more enjoyable, so I've changed my mind. ...Hey, I wonder if that decision means anything... ;)
I think there's only 1 path I can immediately think of that would not be worth an entire episode. Possibly two that'd work well together -- though I don't think Gopher would realize them both at the same time.
RedFire Well he could do 2 path each episode, especially that he uploaded the second one the same day, but I guess its more money for him so whatever, I prefer 30min-1hour long episodes, but I do understand that most people prefer short stuff, not everyone have time to burn :)
Triage II Look at the list of videos and the durations. Are you seriously telling me you think I made these shorter to make more money? And on these few videos how much difference do you think it will make? I mean if I suddenly started cranking out 4 skyrim episodes a day each 15 minutes long I might understand where that accusation came from. But these few videos? They are this long because that is how long they are. Each video ends when it is supposed to end. When the story/episode comes to a conclusion.
Playing this game right now, and finding even more choices (or illusion of choices, lol). At 7:30 in this video, jump from the moving platform onto the walkway below. Go on, you know you want to ;-)
omg I was in my friend's house playing destiny and I just got home to found some gold on youtube..... Gopher playing the stanley parable,my dream and my life are now complete
The fastest way to... em-m... get off the track is to go right (to lounge) then left (as narrator says), and then go down (there will be elevator). There you find... some... interesting thingamabob. The ending of this path comes in 17:22:39
Discovered this game through Gophervids.com , which I doubley discovered through Gopher's amazing Fallout 4 playthrough. Thank you, Gopher for all of these things.
Gopher vs the Narrator
Epic voice vs. epic voice
Who will win?
Epic voice!
Gopher vs. The Narrator = Perfect comedy dynamic :)
Gopher is going to be so irritated by this game or rather "The Narrator"
The Narrator is the best part of the game. I got more fun out of this then any other AAA game in a past year.
***** Indeed :)
The Narrator is awesome that voice man,
His voice is almost as nice as Gopher's :D
***** Yea, i play wot :D
keiven brighting (I'm not sure the exact spelling but I know it's not kevin)
Gopher should become the Narrator of this game's sequel.
WTF? I just had a random youtube journey, starting on Slender videos, finishing with watching a 2 hour video of all the stanley parable endings, then I click TH-cam home and the first video I see is Gopher playing the Stanley Parable. Am I still in the game? Is this the "Gopher" Ending?
They should hire Gopher and let him snd the Narrator riff Siskel & Ebert style, or maybe good-Narrator bad-Narrator. That would rock for the sequel.
Absolutely priceless to watch Gopher being seriously trolled by The Stanley Parable. What a great laugh.
Listening to the two of you argue is a bliss.
This has officially made my entire day. Thank you so much for playing this, Gopher!
I'm only 6 minutes in and I already feel a sort of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy vibe. Primarily from the narrator.
I was thinking earlier this week that it would be awesome if gopher did a stanley parable let's play, and here we are.
I'm still doing the "dont play The Stanley Parable for 5 years" achivement...
So, how's that going? Almost finished? I still have about 2,5 years to complete that...
@@berryonly5922 I was just about to ask this then I see you're comment 1 day ago haha
So, how's the achievement? Did you get it?
you took the same route as me the very first time through. it is a very confusing ending to go through as the first time.
Could have been worse he could have had to follow a line =p
Laezar1 i don't think that's possible the first time round
granthidor why wouldn't it? it's just a simple path, I almost did it first time.
you're right. i was thinking of any time leaving the office, which would make the line the - um - 3rd instance or so, which doesn't make much sense in this context.
The best narrator ever, you'll enjoy this journey
Six minutes in and I already love how sassy the narrator is :D
I'm so glad you decided to play this game Gopher! When I played through it about a month ago I thought to myself how funny it would be to watch you play, not disappointed in the least.
Love this game. I'm also happy it doesn't have night vision. :P
Indeed !
Narrator: Stanley entered the door on the left
Gopher: Did he???
I knew this was going to be the perfect playthrough.
this is, by far, one of the most brilliant game i've ever seen.
Wow. You got the "existential crisis" ending right at the beginning.
i really like how gopher got it very early on, LPers with less intelligence, or at least attention span, will never be able to pull that off. *cough* pewd *cough*
it's quite amazing to see a blind LP of this game long after its release, and of this quality no less.i am looking forward to the rest.
That was an AWESOME intro, from the point of design it's incredible!
this game is great, gopher's voice definitely add an extra charm to this lets play
so looking forward to the next one
I've watched this series 3 or 4 times now and it's still probably my favorite series on TH-cam. Especially if I watch it while I've been drinking lol
"Now, he's looking for a flamethrower." Oh, Gopher how we adore you.
I love this game! Your reactions are making it even better!
More of this please it's fantastic!
oh man that was great, it is so funny watching others go through TSP blind.
Yes! I love this game! I literally just opened the video and i'm already super hyped to see how you handle this game. :)
love this series, this playthrough is LOOONG overdue! :D
Really love this game, and i love to see other people's reactions when they play this game for the first time. Very good decision to Let's Play this, Gopher. Better late than never. :)
Narrator VS Gopher: Fight!
Amazing, new let's play! :)
Remember that there are many different endings and easter eggs.
I love how he is treating this like a horror game haha :D
This. Is. Awesome. Can't wait to see more.
Gopher playing The Stanley Parable ?! That will be very fun to watch ! :D
I get the feeling that Gopher is either going to come to love the narrator, or despise him.
It is an interesting game I find it frightening the way the narrator talks about killing Stanley calmly and I love Gopher reactions and thoughts hope to see more.

..........Woah
Not in drug land.
I love how similar his voice is to the narrators voice
I think someone should hire Gopher as a game voice actor or narrator.
i love this game so much :3 i played every ending
You... didn't finish the baby game, did you?
Nah i didnt play it for the full 5hrs but nothing rly happens there ^^
Something something broom closet ending.
hatutschi There actually _is_ an ending for completing the baby (and puppy!) game. Luckily there are also videos of other people getting it.
It's almost eerie how similar the voices of the Narrator and Gopher are...
My god... It begins. Must find adventure line
Really fun this was.
lol Gopher this game suites you I don't know why it just does, the way you talk back to the narrator XD
a blind stanley parable lets play?! :O i tought they where extinct!!!
so happy about this gameplay!!
Can't wait for the next one!
This is great. A battle of wills between Gopher and the game.
Only sad part as an IT guy .. I am Stanley :(
Any game that drives Gopher up a tree of frustration is a good game.:-)
I don't remember some of these things when I played Stanley Parable. Seems to have been updated with new content. It used to be simpler
I love this!
I already want more.
The wonderful thing is Narrator isn't even lieing about what lies down all the paths. Its a labirynth of choice and failure,
Loved the video! Very amusing to watch haha. I've been thinking about it recently watching his, Gopher, Skyrim videos and all of his rp'ness and was thinking he might very well enjoy playing through Dragon Age Origins as a series. Oh Gopher, I can feel your frustration lol :)
Amazing video!
This is amazing
I loved this XD!
HAHA! brilliant love this game. well done mate.
Haha the narrator is awesome he sounds exactly like you Gopher! I could hardly tell the difference.
Well, I just had a really interesting experience. If you can convince a friend of this perhaps the experience could be shared, cause I thought it was really cool. awww damnet i had hoped he pulled the plug in the beginning xD
This game made me buy the Stanley Parable announcer and multi-kill announcer for Dota 2.
I had been holding off on watching any LPs of this game with the intention to play it (possibly LP it) blind myself, but you know what? Watching Gopher play it blind is infinitely more enjoyable, so I've changed my mind. ...Hey, I wonder if that decision means anything... ;)
#432's job was to just sharpen pencils forever, lol
Gopher u are so damn awesome iv have seen and liked all ur fallout new vegas and fallout 3 vids ur so damn cool
This is going to be interesting
haha imagine The Stanley Parable with Gopher as narration.
Gopher almost sounds scared :P
I can't believe it's been 9 years already.
You're loving that game, aren't you? LoL
this game was not meant to be played, but watching people play it is fun.
For me the episode was too short, but i hope to see more :)
He went through an entire ending path, i'm pretty sure that's a good length.
I think there's only 1 path I can immediately think of that would not be worth an entire episode. Possibly two that'd work well together -- though I don't think Gopher would realize them both at the same time.

Triage II
well they should just go back to their history and pick up where they chose to leave off and we all win
Triage II Look at the list of videos and the durations. Are you seriously telling me you think I made these shorter to make more money? And on these few videos how much difference do you think it will make? They are this long because that is how long they are. Each video ends when it is supposed to end. When the story/episode comes to a conclusion.
What's wrong, Gopher? Not afraid of the dark, are you? ;) hahah
Well...
this is gonna be interesting...
The narrator's voice always reminded me of Gopher.
omg i can't believe you're playing this haha this should be good.....
The fastest way to... em-m... get off the track is to go right (to lounge) then left (as narrator says), and then go down (there will be elevator). There you find... some... interesting thingamabob.
The ending of this path comes in 17:22:39
lol Gopher being paranoid of dark rooms.
Thast ending brought the white to my face when I first played it.
Okay, this game is awesome
The jumpscare hahahahha
I hope he goes for all the endings!! :D
i think i actually genuinly never NOT jumped of that lift...
Kinda shocked i've never seen this bit.
Hilarous ahaajaj! Nice game.
I can't help but notice that this video got put above videos posted a couple minutes ago in my sub box. This video was posted yesterday.
I may have pulled the plug out of the socket when the phone rang...
After the "f" I was expecting a "u"
You are perfect for this game! :D It is like this game was made for you! Or was it you who was created for IT?
Discovered this game through Gophervids.com , which I doubley discovered through Gopher's amazing Fallout 4 playthrough. Thank you, Gopher for all of these things.
I so hoped he would pull the telephone plug. This game is good cause there is always a "right" and a "wrong" choice.
It took him an hour to realize that nothing happened on the screen? SERIOUSLY?
If you look at the achievements for this game they give you some ideas for future playthroughs of the game.
"Well that's not very nice!"
Well. They did say "please"...
this end almost made me quit gaming... the truth about video games was spot on.
GREAT GAME!!!! Way way more than meets the eye. Yes, ignore everything anyone says so it's not spoiled.
Hope you enjoy the game. It's a classic.
