Hire some poor guy from the village, give them a couple of ten bucks, add a supreme directoring and vision, make a masterpiece. I am sure anyone of them didn't give a sh*t for this music video, they just wanted to earn money. Most of them didn't even see the final product.
I am surprised no one saw the poor local from the cake table getting hurt, I mean the guy hitting the stick with both hands, throwing the poor man hand on the wooden table not only on the cakes, because he looks the other way, not where he hits, in the video is only shown hits on the cakes, that was abuse
The software would have static images of the scene beforehand and would be able to use them to mask out any of the blue stick with what it was hiding. Like when folks use green screen, but in this case the stick was the screen and it was computer software trickery that made it vanish.
Classic video. Work of art. I just hope they compensated the people of the Island after using them and their culture. Especially after all the shit talking they did about them.

They did seem to have a lot of staff on the shoot who were local . It's art, so long as everyone got their agreed pay I don't see a big issue
