When Morgana falls to the ground, Kayle ascends and kills the host of Aatrox. We can see Lamb in the flames, showing his death. (Aatrox does not really die, but his host does.) (The future) In the second scene, we see bandits raiding Ionian village and Yasuo as an old man standing his ground. Each time he uses his power, the bonds on his arm unravel. And at the end, when arrows rain right at him, we can see his acceptance of death and Kindred's arrow ending his life. We can also see Wolf's eyes in the shadows right before Lamb's arrow falls. (The present) In the last scene, we see Tryndamere fighting against a group of enemies and dying. It is represented as him fighting Kindred (death), with both Wolf and Lamb refusing to die; his red eyes represent his "undying rage." We can see that Lamb is showing a sign of confusion as to why this man doesn't give up. In the final scene, we can see Lamb lowering her bow when Ashe (Tryn's wife) saves him from his last enemies just in the moment he is about to die. Seeing that this is not the time to claim Tryndamere, Kindred disappears. This cinematic represents that death is timeless, showing one scene from the past, one from the present, and one from the future. It also shows both aspects of Kindred. When Aatrox's host dies, we see Lamb idle while Wolf delivers the final blow. Wolf hunts down those who resist death. When Yasuo dies, Wolf waits, as Lamb's arrow is the final moment. Morgana had her powers the same way before. And Kayle never had a problem with her powers, just her view on how justice works. Their breaking apart was long after the cinematic.
Wow good observation. Can i ask for the kindred thingy? When aatrox host die, we see lamb idle, where exactly is lamb? I cant see it. But when yasuo accept death, i can see wolf eye in the background.
I think yasuo is not dead, he closed his eye the first time when slashing the arrow that the bandit called so I think he also slashed the one kindred shot, he could have accepted death when the villager ran away but he didnt

I'm main Kindred. I love they since they was a sketch 9 years ago. Kindred was so ignored by Riot all this years. But hearing their line of "Tomorrow is a hope, never a promise", and that scene with Trynda....OMG! I was crying! Finally Kindred have the place they deserve! This first cinematic for them is so perfect!
Pretty sure all are related to Kindred. A vessel of Atrox is killed in the first scene. The perspective returns to 'normal' and what's actually happening when Ashe comes. The title "Still Here" can either be representative of the character's struggle... or also interpreted as a reference to Kindred -- Death is here. Death is waiting. The characters might sometimes forget, as they go about their lives, but Kindred is still there, never far, always waiting. The subtle nods to Kindred are amazing, given the lore of the character and this is by far the best video they've done. Whoever directed this knew what they were doing!
Yasuo's sequence doesn't end with Kindred's arrow, it's actually Ashe's. Look at the shape of each arrows in the final sequence, you'll see how linear and spectral Kindred's are.
@@Soliye. You make a good point...but it makes no sense to be one of Ashe's arrows, given the context. Maybe an oversight on the animators part? Maybe the arrow is shaped like an actual arrow (with fletching) because it's actually never kindred that kill their target, but another entity -- in this case, the people who fired that volley. The wolf is clearly in the background, which makes it all the more plausible with the arrow being Lamb's.
@@balanceofjudgement4282 So actually, the ice arrow we see fly into the camera is part of the transition. It's Ashe's E to find where Tryndamere is. That is how she found him in time, just like at the end of the trailer she shoots in the sky to light the forest and reveal multiple soldiers closing in on them. It reads like a bait to make you think Kindred killed Yasuo because of the direction of the trailer, but every details actually point otherwise. As for the eyes, they do not match Wolf's. Colors & shape are way off, but I do not have any explanation for them. Yasuo might be dealing with something else entirely. the "Still Here" might be him picking up a sword once more, after many years. The way he closes his eye before grabbing the sword to me felt like he made a decision he didn't enjoy. Like a master who vanished for years, but now he's back.
@@Good_Hot_Chocolate That's fine. I'm just basing my point on what I see, rest is me connecting the dots. But everything aside, no matter how I look at it, it is very much an Ashe arrow coming toward the screen. We can compare to the ones Kindred shoots right after. I wouldn't think they'd make such a mistake...
Kindred is in every scene being aspect of death hes there to claim the souls, yasou accepting death in a vison of the future when kindreds arrow comes hes on the battlefield honestly being a player since beta i am overly thrilled with the ammount of lore we received without words even being spoken
This is happening in the past. There’s a few ways to tell. First the description of the video gives it away as it’s kindred talking. Second that’s an older version of Demacia, you can tell because it’s still being barricaded with wood and stuff. This is before Kayle and morgana have a falling out. Speaking of which morgana still has her sword in this. Kayle in current lore has both of her mother’s swords, where as in this cinematic each of the sisters were given 1. They’re fighting a weaker older version of Aatrox, likely he just doesent have a strong enough host. The Yasuo cinematic is a possible future where Ionia gets invaded again. The arrow he splits in half pays off fully later when he lets the kindred arrow hit him. He could have split it in half but he’s accepting death here as an old man. I think Yasuo might be the first champion to have a confirmed death. Permanent death. Gone forever. The tryndamere part is happening in the present. Who knows what EXACTLY is happening though freljordians always fight eachother. Because kindred is death, while he IS technically fighting kindred, he’s also fighting off the dudes attacking him. He’s close to death so he sees kindred instead but tryndamere R too op so he manages to fend kindred off until Ashe comes to rescue him, and because Ashe is rescuing him he’s not dying anymore so kindred backs off. Likely not the first or last time Tryndamere will see kindred either. I think the cinematic is hinting that every time he uses his Darkin blood magic to stay alive he’s always in a fight against death.
Something I'd like to specify, the arrow we see at the end of Yasuo's sequence is NOT Kindred's. It is actually Ashe's. Kindred's bow shoots very linear and spectral looking arrows, while the shape of the one we see is 100% the shape of the two fired by Ashe at the end. It's a transition that baits you into thinking Yasuo was killed by Kindred. It's really just Ashe trying to find where Tryndamere is. This doesn't mean Yasuo was crippled with arrows, since the sky is filled with them merging toward him.Hopefully his windwall CD is done. Rest was very much spot on however.
It's a Vision Sent by Death/Kindred (the land and wolf) to young Yasuo, its a possible future where he accepted his death peacefully. Keynote its possibility not the future, but it is represented as the future. In the cinematic he clearly closed his eyes to dash away unto the tornado'd enemy, but like I said the Vision is explicitly him accepted his death, it's Yasuo's choice to end it there.
@@Soliye.Yasuo could Ult to the tornado'd Navori, to dash away. Also yes you're right Yasuo doesn't have a confirmed death. Mostly because I want his death to be peaceful, throughout his life, it's the thing he never had. I see alot of people supporting Yasuo die like this, even My Idol Necrit, my heart sank. I guess I'm the only one. My boy Yasuo has been through enough, i don't want him to die against some couple of goons, thank God its just a Possible Future, I say it again *ITS NOT A CONFIRMED DEATH!!!*
If u look closley you can see a lamb in the fire, when aatrox got killed by kayle. You can also see wolf like eyes in the forest when yasuo tornad‘d the enemy, so like kindrett was always there when death happend, and in the final scene she backed off bc someone cared about the life of trynd, its so epic
Loved the last one, Kindred has always (lore wise) been my favorite champ, and seeing them was SO good. Making Wolf the size of a dire wolf, was just fantastic!
Easily my favorite part was Trynd vs Kindred. The sheer implications that every time he ults with Undying Rage in universe he has to fight off Kindred gives me chills it's so cool. I get the sense from this that he has been in this situation many times now since he holds his own pretty well but isn't quite there to fully fight Kindred off himself so each time he gives everything he has trying to resist hoping that one day it will be enough. Ashe being there to save him shows their connection well too. I could honestly ramble on and on about just the Trynd part gushing about how much I love it but I'll cut it off here. I really like the rest of the cinematic too just not as much as that.
The mofit of the "lamb", Kindred's one legged stance, is in the smoke from the transition from past fight with Aatrox to the future fight with Yasuo. Aatrox cannot be killed so even though Aatrox would love nothing more than to die, Kindred is only observing and cannot take him. Yasuo accepts his death and Kindreds light arrow is part of the hail of arrows and you can see the wolf in the shadows of the forest in the distance. And obviously they take a more active roll in Tryn's fight for his life.
Kindred. Hands down. The song was so... hyping. Especially during the final arc, when Ashe comes in clutch -- there is a buried track (around 4:29 onward), that sounds almost like words (and it may well BE words) but it's so indistinct (but awesome!) that the voice, whatever it's doing, becomes another emotion overloading instrument. So cool! The first real, bombastic brass drop when Morgana is gathering the power to chain Aatrox-- chef's kiss. Also, the areal battle was so kinetic! So amazing. As for Yasuo, I think the most amazing thing, other than him being like Old Man Logan, were the intentional pauses (maybe he was regretting the necessity to pull on his wind powers?), and the end of that section when one can see wolf's outline in the trees, and Ashe's hawk-arrow serving three purposes -- great transition between sections, another arrow in the volley of arrows coming to kill Yasuo, and him accepting Lamb, accepting his own death. Great reaction and explanation! I'm sure there are other amazing interpretations for the symbolism of the cinematic below, so I won't belabor, but your take on it was superb. Cheers!
OMG someone who got it instantly with the fight of kindred and trynda... i love this scene with trynda at the end it gives me chills everytime i watch this.
Seeing and hearing Kindred hits different! Didnt expect much from the cinematic when I saw it the first time, but the second I heard Kindreds voice I was on the edge of my seat the whole show.
Yasuo was old there because it's a Vision Sent by Death/Kindred (the land and wolf) to young Yasuo, its a possible future where he accepted his death peacefully. Keynote its possibility not the future, but it is represented as the future. In the cinematic he clearly closed his eyes to dash away unto the tornado'd enemy, but like I said the Vision is explicitly him accepted his death, it's Yasuo's choice to end it there.
I like Trynd vs. Kindred the most, but I like how melancholy Yasuo's scene is. He's old, he doesn't have his blade anymore, he doesn't want to kill anyone (and didn't in this cinematic and even saved the bad guy from the rain of arrows), and in the end he just accepts Lamb's arrow to put a bow on his journey. I like the Kayle/Morgana/Aatrox scene too, but the other two just hit better emotionally as someone who's invested time learning about the game's lore and characters.
In kayle and morgs story you see kindred in the fire, you have to really be looking for her. its a dim shadow, then yasuo accepted his death so Lamb gave him a quick death. And then with Ashe and Tryn, Lamb knew it wasn't his time when Ashe came to help so she left. It's truly beautiful!
#TheBoredBoarPlays: @Necrit lore The whole theme is "StillHere", referencing Kindred who is DeathIncarnate. Whether it's the Past (Morgana &Kayle), Present (Tryndamere), and Future (OldMan Yasuo). Death is "Still Here" no matter whattime it is. You can see Kindred in the Fires of thePast destroying Aatrox, Facing Tryndamere, andShooting a Fatal Arrow at Old Man Yasuo in thehead. Můžete vidět, jak Kindred in the Fires of the Past ničí Aatroxe, čelí Tryndamere a střílí fatální šíp na starého muže Yasua do hlavy.
Still here actually stands for Kindred because death is inevitable. They are in each scenario. I. The flame when Kayle and Morgana when they kill Aatrox host. The arrow that kills old Yaso is Lamb's. Wolfs eye can also be seen in the treeline and of course front and center at the end.
I think it's more accurate to say it's a double entendre. Yes it means that for kindred, but at the same time it's meant to speak of those not yet ready to die.
my fave was Tryn ❤️ Ashe because they fr be inlove despite being married for political reasons but liek tryns eyes definitely filled with love when he saw ashe
Kindred exists outside of time. It can be in the future and the past at the same time. Old Yasuo is a scenario that may happen if Yasuo does not forgive himself and continues to follow the path of the penitent. People in masks are followers of the blood moon cult. I like the scene where Kelly looks at Morgana with contempt, because Morgana renounced her heritage by throwing away the sword and using dark powers. Maybe that's when she lost her wings...
Morgana and Kayle scene is far in the past, around the foundation of demacia, maybe even before cause there is no petricite on sight. Also because Morgana has not chained her wings yet, and they're on the same page for now. You can see the disapproving stare that Kayle gives to Morgana when Morgana is using her magic that lets both her and her target experience a lot of pain, the one you read on her story. So it means that Aatrox vessel probably dies there, and is not the same that would later fight Pantheon and Trynda. Also when Kayle uses her celestial fire, you can see Kindred shadow in the flames before it transitions to the next scene. Idk if Kindred is there for Aatrox, or just the human that took Aatrox's blade. Either way don't think Kindred could claim Aatrox there. Yasuo's scene is in the far future. You can see how before he picks up his sword when the single arrow is going towards him he closes his eyes, I think he was kinda deciding whether to fight one more time or just let it all end, but becase other people's lives were on play, he decides to fight once more. But you can see how at the end of his scene, when the arrows are falling from the sky, there's a dark shadow resembling the wolf, and then he finally closes his eyes one last time and then Kindred's arrow appears to transition to the next scene. That probably means he finally accepted the swift arrow of the Lamb, and we just saw old Yasuo dying. The gang he is fighting might be the navori brotherhood, I'm not sure though. They're Ionia's nationalists that want to unite the nation and finally have a centralized government to have better defenses after what happened with noxus, but they are pretty extremists. And then the symbolic fight of Tryndamere, the undying, using Aatrox's blood magic that was given to him when they fought each other, and his iron will to fight death, when in reality he was just fighting those barbarians we see in the intro. Remember that most freljordian barbarians take honor in seeing the wolf, not the lamb, so they won't go as peacefully as Yasuo did. I didn't know that the Lamb also could shoot arrows at you while you were battling the wolf though haha, I thought you either fight the wolf, or accept Lamb's arrow.
I think the title of the song I'm still here foreshadowed the characters relationship and their motives regardless of their perspective timelines. 1.Morgana is still there for her Sister kayle dispite having their opposite mindset.(Even tho they don't see eye to eye she cared for her). 2.Yasuo is still in ionia rebuilding his honor on protecting his people just like his brother yone wants in the first place (even with his failure to protect their master) 3.Ashe is there for Tryndamere until his last breath
For those who need context: ( "Kindred" is the combination of lamb and wolf. They are one creature. They are not angel of death.. They are exactly death's form) -This whole cinematic is about Kindred. They are the aspect of death. If you accept death, Lamb (the pale one) gives you a swift release with her arrow. If you avoid it, Wolf (the dark one) will hunt you down and make it more painful -The first scene is in the past somewhere around Damacia. Where the two patron sisters fight Aatrox the darkin. Darkin are akin to demon, they possess an host. In the current lore the sisters do not talk anymore because of their vastly different view on justice. Kindred is always present for a death. So when Kayle (the blonde one) burns it all down. Killing the host of Aatrox, the shape can be seen in the flame -The second is a possible future where Noxus successfully invaded Ionia. Yasuo is trying to save a few people and then dies. You can see wolf eyes in the treeline and Lamb arrow finish him off. You can see he accepts his faith because he looks up for a fraction of a second (Noticing Lamb's arrow) and makes sure to finish off the last guy before kneeling. -The last if Tryndamere in the present state of the lore. He has some of Aatrox blood and a rage so great every time he comes close to dying he pushes it away. Hence why he is fighting Kindred, fighting death. His wife Ashes comes to save him at the end but lamb will come back eventually. -The "I'm still here" is not so much the heroes it is Kindred themselves because death is inevitable. ADDITIONAL INFO; the hero fighting Kindred in the snowy fields is Tryndamere, and his eyes go red because in the game his ultimate ability is a bloodfrenzied fury (in the lore they let it be understood as some kind of infection from Aatrox's blood magic), which makes him literally unkillable for a short amount of seconds, making him the only human capable of fending off death, therefore the only human who can survive a direct encounter with Kindred.
The only thing that can deal with Kindred is Tryndamere in this animation, because if another hero was in that condition, Kindred would definitely have his soul taken. because Tryndamere has the right ULTIMATE skills😂
My favorite one was definitely the last one. While Ashe and Tryndamere aren't really my favorite champs I do like Kindred a lot, so seeing them in action was super awesome. Morgana is one of my favorite characters so seeing her is always hype for me lol. Oh and Aatrox too, I really like him. Overall an awesome cinematic that really makes up for the great disappointment of last year.
Nice vid mate!! You should probably check out or react to Necrit's explanation of this that he's just released, it's interesting news! BTW I loved all the scenes, but this is fanservice for Kindred fans at this point s2
Seeing the sheer amount of views the video is getting (26m in two days, #2 on Trending) makes me wonder what was going on inside Riot last year. These releases are HUGE for visibility and marketing, yet they, for some reason, decided not to do it last year. Lesson learned hopefully. Also, great pick ups: indeed, Kindred back off because Ashe shot the last two tribesmen.
Yasuo in Future as new old suma "master sword wind wealder. Morgana and Kayle vs Aatrox Past Tryndamere near death so he was able see Kindred. But Ashe safe. The Awaken, Warriors, The Call, Still Here Cinematic are canon to Arcane Universe. Just like Riot Forge Games: Song of Nunu;....
No, remember the beginning scene. Tyrndamere was surrounded by tye winter's claw raiders, and the last fight Tyrndamere is fighting Lamb and Wolf while he is fighting the raiders then the last scene Ashe saved him and Lamb thought today is not his day yet.
Ashe and Tryndamere shippers (it's canon btw) are really out there on cloud 9 I guess. If I'm not mistaken, on the original lore their partnership is just political marriage. Just a show of strength. But I think now there's romance in there but still retains the political marriage plot.
The title Still here is not about Trynda surviving and is still here, its about Kindred. They are still here.. in past, presents and future. They will ever be here to claim the souls.

@@balanceofjudgement4282
So actually, the ice arrow we see fly into the camera is part of the transition.
@@Soliye.Based on the other kindred presences in the other two scenes, I'm inclined to disagree. Especially with wolf watching from the tree shadows.
My favorite part is definitely tryn fighting, the fact that he is always fighting kindred off cuz he ain’t ready to die is just too good
You really are interested so.much in league lore such fascinating to watch you react. Hope the Arcane Season 2 will be a banger this year
I've watched this video so many times and Kindred takes place in EVERY fight in some form.
And obviously they take a more active roll in Tryn's fight for his life.
the storytelling of this one was VERY good. just makin me more hyped for the MMO rofl
When you think about it, Kindred is in every Cinematic..."Never One, Without The Other"
Kindred.
Cheers!
I love how the Scenes are from the past, future, and present.
About the gang - I don't think we've met them before. Even Necrit couldn't say for sure who they were.
OMG someone who got it instantly with the fight of kindred and trynda... i love this scene with trynda at the end it gives me chills everytime i watch this.
Kindred is also my favourite! Really live this cinematic for showing Kindred omg ❤
Seeing and hearing Kindred hits different! Didnt expect much from the cinematic when I saw it the first time, but the second I heard Kindreds voice I was on the edge of my seat the whole show.
look forward to watching necrits deep dive and explanation of the cinematic
#TheBoredBoarPlays:
@Necrit lore
The whole theme is "StillHere", referencing Kindred who is DeathIncarnate.
#TheBoredBoarPlays:
@Necrit lore
Very fair!@@Good_Hot_Chocolate
my fave was Tryn ❤️ Ashe because they fr be inlove despite being married for political reasons but liek tryns eyes definitely filled with love when he saw ashe
2.Yasuo is still in ionia rebuilding his honor on protecting his people just like his brother yone wants in the first place (even with his failure to protect their master)
3.Ashe is there for Tryndamere until his last breath
Favourite: Kindred. Always. Thematically, lore-wise, aesthetic. No one beats Kindred in that area.
For sure, this is the best cinematic so far.
Kindred appears in every part - in kayle's flames, in trees in front of yasuo, btw lamb shot him there
For those who need context: ( "Kindred" is the combination of lamb and wolf. They are one creature. They are not angel of death.. They are exactly death's form)
-This whole cinematic is about Kindred. They are the aspect of death. If you accept death, Lamb (the pale one) gives you a swift release with her arrow. If you avoid it, Wolf (the dark one) will hunt you down and make it more painful
-The first scene is in the past somewhere around Damacia. Where the two patron sisters fight Aatrox the darkin. Darkin are akin to demon, they possess an host. In the current lore the sisters do not talk anymore because of their vastly different view on justice. Kindred is always present for a death. So when Kayle (the blonde one) burns it all down. Killing the host of Aatrox, the shape can be seen in the flame
-The second is a possible future where Noxus successfully invaded Ionia.
I love old daddy yasuo
Kindred is in all 3...the lamb in the fire at the end of the 1st...the wolf's eyes and the lamb's arrow striking at the end if the 2nd

The only thing that can deal with Kindred is Tryndamere in this animation, because if another hero was in that condition, Kindred would definitely have his soul taken. because Tryndamere has the right ULTIMATE skills😂
As the arrow's fall on Yasuo you can see Kindreds(Ani's) glowing eyes in the tree's.
Yasuo took the path of pain.
Kindred one is definitly my favourite
It's subtle, but you can see Kindren in all of the scenes.
Nice vid mate!! You should probably check out or react to Necrit's explanation of this that he's just released, it's interesting news!
BTW I loved all the scenes, but this is fanservice for Kindred fans at this point s2
Death (Kindred) is always STILL HERE.
I just realized, Kyle took Morgana's sword
Yasuo in Future as new old suma "master sword wind wealder.
Morgana and Kayle vs Aatrox Past
Tryndamere near death so he was able see Kindred.
That is Forseen Yasuo
When your soul is going to take kindred but tryndamere nah nah nah
When they play this at worlds, it's gonna be lit
its trynda at his immortal rage so basically Kindred cannot claim his soul
Ashe and Tryndamere shippers (it's canon btw) are really out there on cloud 9 I guess. If I'm not mistaken, on the original lore their partnership is just political marriage. Just a show of strength. But I think now there's romance in there but still retains the political marriage plot.
The title Still here is not about Trynda surviving and is still here, its about Kindred. They are still here.. in past, presents and future. They will ever be here to claim the souls.
I have been looking through everything trying to figure out the attackers in the Yasuo scene. They look Ionian. Maybe Navori? I can't find anything solid though. Guess I have to wait for Necrit. :)
on the second part the old man could be Elder Souma Yasuo's master
The look kayle gives morgana! Yeah, they're not sister anymore.
Kindred is the best part
This is canon death Yasuo
kindred is death on LoL evrytiem he ults he fights kidnred
So I’m pretty sure in the possible future yas definitely dies there
Well, I think The Call still better. Old Yasuo fighting with NPCs was kinda cringy for me
Sejuani and Olaf were doing the same.
@@asmrenjoer At least they were worshipers of the storm god, and they themselves could shoot lightning. Their could be considered as mini-boss that later becomes a stronger opponent, and these were literally NPCs. So go find better argument
@@Artenar Well, I have no need to look at fight against world destroyers while watching a story about acceptance of death.
