Do you gently invert and/or roll the vials in the palms of your hands first, or is this not necessary?

Yes! This is important with cloudy insulin to make sure there wasn't settlement. Just be gentle and don't shake the vials :) - Ellis

Uhm, Ms. Ellis. You still need to disinfect the rubber septum with an alcohol swab. That is basic infection control.
