    Seen the Spurs do this set; one wrinkle they do is a double shuffle/cross screen for the big who just pitched to post up all the way on the opposite low block.

    Hey Coach, love your instructional videos .. Can you someday do an instructional vid on how to play the 1-3-1 zone? not the trap just the regular containing zone defense... I think its one of the more underrated zones especially in college

    I love how it can just translate to a double pindown and get a good shot

    Nice play, I think I saw GSW use this set a few times. Since Bogut does a lot high post dribble hand off, if he does not set the second double screen he is the one who slip rolls to the basket for the dunk and as you show coach 3rd option roll/slip man would then pass to 1st screener Green/D.Lee

    • @bballbreakdown
      @bballbreakdown  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, Bogut definitely gets something like this. Sometimes it a simple glance at Steph then sprint to down screen but slip for lob and dunk. Love it.

    Could u do plays and extra attacking advice against a zone defence. We are a quick team playing at a lower level and most oponents use a zone. Some helpful tips would be great :)

    Great video coach. So is "Slice twist" an action(s) or just a name?

    On the last rep I felt as though the hand-off was way too early, before the 2 had come off the screens properly. This meant the corner shot being taken as the initial option had only just found his spot off the screens. Is this by design to keep defenders guessing or were the guys just a little eager?

    How would this work as a motion offense?

    • @bballbreakdown
      @bballbreakdown  9 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It doesn't really have "flow" so it's more of a call out of a time out. If u have a basic motion, it could flow into that...

    • @ShamGam3
      @ShamGam3 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +BBALLBREAKDOWN Am generally against sets and play calls. I coach youth basketball.
      I like the concept of this but would be nice to see it as a motion and eg transfer from primary to secondary.
