- Forza Horizon 5 is a racing game developed by Playground Games and published by Xbox Game Studios. It will be the fifth Forza Horizon title and twelfth main instalment in the Forza series. The game is set in a fictionalised representation of Mexico. It is set to be released on 9 November 2021 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S.
Forza Horizon 5 is a racing video game set in an open world environment based in Mexico. The game has the largest map in the entire Forza Horizon series, being 50% larger than Forza Horizon 4. The map was described by creative director Mike Brown as one of the most diverse Forza Horizon maps the team has built.
The map in Forza Horizon 5 contains areas like an active caldera volcano, jungles and beaches, ancient Mayan temples, and cities such as Guanajuato. Players can explore the open world freely, though they can also compete in multiplayer races and complete the campaign mode. Both the cars featured in the game and the player character can be extensively customised. The game is the first in the franchise to support ray tracing on cars (although this is only available in ForzaVista).
Considering the cost of graphic cards and overall sweet gaming setup these days, I think I'm just going to buy a real off-roader and have my kicks.
By the time scalping goes down and stock restores back to normal, you could get a Xbox Series X and a 4K TV for roughly around $800
Real off-roading is a $$$$ pit!
Horizon 4 runs very smoothly at maximum settings even on non-high-end PCs, so hopefully this will be true for FH 5
just buy a gaming laptop and external monitor, its more affordable and worth paying than a tower of PC
You can manage a gaming set up like in this video for less than 1000$.
If you already have a good TV or monitor, you can grab racing wheels for as low as 99$ to 300$. Plus a Xbox series x for 500$ if you can get at MSRP. Shifters + handbrake should nudge you closer to 800$.
That has to be the smoothest offroad road I've ever seen. No bumbs, no rocks, no mud. No challenges. You could drive it in any car no problem at speed.

There is no "off-road", other than texture color change. Forza is a joke. Arcade racing game for children. You can't even crash the cars, lol.
@@george.r Spintires really spoiled us for the "off road" feeling lol. We need more true car games, these new games are scared to mess up or dirty up brands. I don't know if it's just because gamers today will accept anything and laziness, or companies are afraid to tell car companies "hey, we're going to allow your vehicles to be dirty and totaled". If the car manufacturers are saying "sure you can put our vehicles in game but no damage and so forth" well then go the route of many games and just give us random names for vehicles and by pass the license all together.
This is an arcade racer. You can off-road with legit every car 😂.
The amount of details of today games is just incredible.
And in 10yrs time you be like: games back then had such basic details

They should have made some uneven off road surfaces that you need an off roader to cross with slow torquey driving.
It seems like everything is unrealistically smooth.

@@JudeTheTH-camPoopersubscribe oh I'm not asking for an off-road sim. Just that you should feel a big difference when driving a Ferrari off road, vs driving a Land Rover or a Jeep etc. Makes the open world more convincing and sells the fantasy of choosing the right exotic car etc
@@Arjun-eb1yc well there was a decent difference in fh4 when you tried to take a supercar off road. You often spun out when turning corners and stuff etc. So it's probably the same here although I'll have to play it myself obviously because they did say they've tweaked how cars handle a little bit in this one.
If you want a different type of off-road experience than fh5 then download a sim or something like this bc this is the best they have rn.

The thing I didn’t like about FH is that you can do exactly the same off road in this Defender or in a Ferrari 488 GTB. The map is so big and so realistic, but the car limits is not realistic at all. I know it’s an Arcade game, but it should be better.

Yes! Exactly! Also this strange feelings increased by very deep customization and technical tuning. Not so many even rally sims have it. So, visual is real, tuning is very serious - car behavior "Mario Cart"
@@LJT9393 ps racing games SUCK! I I got a ps5 and the exclusives aren't great imo. There's no racing games that even come close to Forza. GT sport, need for speed...🤣🤣😭🤣 Xbox game pass is superior I can say from experience with my Xbox one. I guess we have Spiderman...😅😂
@@leonbowers500 I wasn’t talking specifically about racing games. The uncharted games all look good, Days Gone, Spider-Man, God of War, last of us and there’s another couple I can’t think of right now. Also the thing with Forza is that they just look good.. but have terrible car physics.

I just wish we could choose cars from our garage as opponents in races, really make use of the liveries, and have FH3 ai convoys come back so we can convoy with our garage builds.

nothing will be trimmed, it's not even ray traced, it's a really high res ssr

It’s going to be the same maxed out as you see here. The only difference will be frame rate but that depends on your computer
Tbh I'm kinda excited for the off roading. Usually off roading doesn't get me excited at all, but the attention to detail here is so good that I think it's finally worth it.

How can people not like this. I mean listen to the sound look at the game. It looks amazing. I didn’t even care if you hate XBOX for some reason. You would think you can see greatness.
V realistic game, I drove through the whole map in my Ferrari, on every terrain as well without hitting the brakes even once. Truly a realistic simulation experience where i put my foot on the pedal and fall asleep and i'd still be on the road with no accident.
Mate, this is an arcade game, not a racing simulator. It's not meant to be realistic - it's meant to have gorgeous graphics, a ton of cars and a plethora of customization options. If you want realism, go play Assetto Corsa or Beam NG. Don't hate on the game just because it doesn't appeal to you. For the purpose to which it was created, it does its job extremely well.

WELP... this settles it, im getting an xbox and 4k tv. this is unreal. I haven't played racing games since gran turismo and NFS underground days. I am blown away.
At least you showed us scorches of map in wich most of the community wouldn't even know it exists...
Only way to make this more realistic is if the land rover randomly died and left u stranded with a high 4 figure repair needed
