I'd love to see a review on the Essence 6-pans! I got dancing green and I love the shimmers but I had so much trouble getting the dark green matte shade to blend...wondering if it's just me. If you have a way to make it work I'd love to hear it!
I haven't had an issue with the dark green (yet). I've only used it in my outer v, but what I did was pack it on the area and then just blended the edges. Don't know if that's a helpful tip, but it worked for me!
The jcat foundation is not for dry, or even somewhat normal skin without a very hydrating skin prep, I’m combo/oily, and I absolutely love it! But even I have to prep my less oily areas more in order to wear this.
I used to use the NYX eyeshadow stick in Yogurt for my inner corner. It would start out so pretty, but would so dry and lizardy after a couple of hours
Would love to see a dedicated video with the 6 pans! Also, with the tretinoin - I added Egyptian Magic as a topcoat at night and didn't experience any flaking - it's truly magical.
The swatch of the Ritz is definitely deceiving, bc when I use on my eyes as a topper or alone there is zero base it doesn't change the eyeshadows underneath it it's def more of a topper for me.

I’d love to see a review of the 6 pans from Essence with everyday looks with each of them. Maybe how to do a daytime look, with each palette, then how to amp up that same look you wore all day for an evening look still using the same palette.
I take the CP shadow in Ritz and I just tap it over my eye look so its just like a topper! It's super pretty! I had it for so long but just started actually using it after hearing it was a dupe bc I always wanted the UD one! But you should try it out like I do it! Lightly tap it over, dont swipe it or apply it heavily like normally!

I love the Essence Coral Me Maybe. I didn’t think I would like it thinking that it would be too light, but it’s perfect for me. I prefer a spoolie too. I purchase packs of disposable ones just so I can use it on my lashes and brows if I need a clean one to use.

You absolutely have to try the Revolution Banana Setting Powder! I have olive skin, and find that a lot of setting powders make my skin look greyish or washed out, but this one has no white cast and makes your skin look brighter without being completely color correcting. It's a holy grail for me! Definitely recommend if you're looking to try other powders from them.
The essence six pan palettes are actually available in Germany. Most of the things you show were released earlier and out of shops already when you show them except for staples like the mascaras or the nail polish
I totally agree with you regarding the J Cat foundation. I have oily combo skin and it clung to my dry patches and made my oily skin cakey and I looked like I was wearing theater makeup.
With your eyes open the Ardell clusters look fantastic but when you close your eyes you can see the outer corner looks very dense compared to your real lashes.
With the JCat powder foundation, I would suggest using it with the foundation pad it comes with. I have tried that foundation many ways and the best way is by using that pad. 😉
I absolutely love the Bonjour Montreal palette and it was so inexpensive. The formula is amazing and I love the color story. I am thinking about ordering more.

I love that Aquassurance Powder Foundation sits nice on my skin skin. Another favorite powder Foundation is the IT Cosmetics One the Dewy one. Eyebrow pencil I really like is NYX.
I use the Colourpop brow gel almost daily. And yes, you definitely need to scrape off the product for a while! I’ve noticed that the most recent tube I opened dried out really quickly, like within a month. Hopefully that’s not the case moving forward.

After watching your video, I went out and bought Ritz (in the new python packaging) and compared it to my old one in the classic white package, and I noticed the new one has a lot more of a base pigment to it! I compared the old one to my space cowboy and its a much closer dupe than the newer version!
I love the super-cheap e.l.f. Instant Lift Brow Pencil, but I just want to darken my brows and don't have to "create" them - this doesn't have a micro-tip. I am trying to switch to wooden pencils, but the shade is always an issue!
While you take Tretinoin, you will CONTINUE to peel. What helps me is using an enzyme scrub after I wash my face in the evening. I use one that "balls up". I have used the Rub a dub by Saturday Skin. I now use and (like better) the Yo Glow enzyme scrub by Wishful. It is more gritty and smoothes out the peels better. Both brands are available at Sephora.
Kelly! I just thought about this and had to comment. Taylor Wynn has a video about getting the jcat foundation to be beautiful on the skin. Go look it up and see if you can get the foundation to work for you
That's the brow pencil I've used for years. Nyx definitely did the brush end way before Fenty. I actually prefer the brush to a spoolie cuz I get a more even distribution of product. Hope you try it!

I love powder foundation in the summer. I’m oily af but powder foundation in the summer seems to last very well on my skin. The jcat I use to love not the shade range but since trying higher end ones I don’t really like the jcat anymore. I have 3 different shades the lightest one and I think it’s the next two shades and they are all orange on me.
That foundation does great with dewey primers and setting sprays! Tretinoin skin definitely takes a minute to regulate, spacing out the applications to once every three days then to every other day helps a ton though!
Will you do a how to video with how you apply powder foundation? Do you recommend a primer or spray to make everything less powdery? I always worry it will be obvious I'm wearing foundation if I use power foundation.

I think the Cinderella palette is the one I have been most excited about in a long time. Loving the looks you have done and can’t wait to try them. For me powder foundation is difficult not only because I have dry skin, but some contain ingredients that make me itch. I can’t use Bare Minerals because I get a reaction.
Does anyone else feel like the triangle tip brow pencils pull out brow hairs, the tip is always covered in hairs. The skinny ones I’ll lose a couple, but I felt like I was seriously shedding the Benefit triangle one, and I’ve been scared to try and others. I also just didn’t like how it looked, even though they are quick. I love the original Elf brow pencil. It’s kind of thick, but not a triangle. So fast and natural looking

Those essence shadows look amazing! My favorite drugstore brow pencil is the PYT eyebrow goals pencil. It’s a little pricey, like $12 but it lasts me longer than my former favorite cover girl microbrow pencil. The PYT pencil is much thicker, but I love it!
the j cat powder foundation makes me so oily and i never struggle with oily skin anymore! doesn't wear well at all :( i wonder if using a mattifying primer would help...

NYX microbrow along with their new brow pen is my holy grail combo, not just drug store but of all brow products I’ve tried.

I use the Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in Cottage Cheese as an inner corner highlight sometimes. It is a shimmery white.

NYX Precision Brow is my #1 drugstore brow pencil. The shade Taupe is such a nice slightly cool tone brown.

I find that using a hydrating primer and dewy setting spray with the jcat powder helps a lot for me! I have normal-combo skin
My fave drugstore brow pencil is the LA Girl Shady Slim Brow Pencil! It's more of a waxy type of formula but that's what I prefer.

Loved the Essence green palette; pitched the taupe one….really pale lavender and not in a good way. The green is great!
Did you use the Aqua powder foundation damp? It's meant to be used with a damp sponge, which is how I think it works best.
I bought the essence taupe palette online and it turned on my skin chemistry and showed up purples. I am fair skinned and wear eyeshadow primer.
