@Zach Gaskins It's nice to know now that she's gonna survive being shot in the belly, apparently staying alive for quite a while. Care to share more spoilers with our esteemed reactor?
They knew Prax was a belter because he spoke langbelta when asking about Mei earlier Plus in reality he’d be taller and slimmer than Inners, but there’s not enough actors like that for every role
If the morning/afternoon sun is becoming a problem this time of year, try hanging a bedsheet over the bar your blinds hang from. It doesn't have to be particularly heavy or thick. Just enough to cut the hotspot out of the light. Prax wasn't able to accomplish anything by reporting the mass spacing, because Doris never told him the name of the refugee ship they were on. It was just one of anywhere from a dozen to maybe 30 ships that all docked up at Tycho at the same time. But he assumed that since the official he spoke to wouldn't (couldn't) do anything about it, that she was in on it. Which is why his paranoia went into high gear when he saw her pointing him out to Holden and Naomi. The ailment Prax described as Mei's affliction, Meyers-Skelton Premature Immunosenescence, actually exists. It's basically Methuselah Syndrome for the immune system. Every year older she gets, her immune system ages 5 to seven times as much. Without aggressive treatment, by the time she's 20 she'll have the immune system of a centagenarian. A mild sniffle could be the end of her.
Great reaction! Great episode! A lot happened! A new character is in the mix, Prax! I would like for you to pay special attention to Prax and his interactions with one of the Rocinante crew member. Yes Drummer is a badass and yes we love her! Can't wait for the next one!
At this point, I believe Dawes means all he says about Belters becoming strong and independent enough to push back against the Inner planets. I also believe he intends to be the supreme leader of that effort, and will be ruthless in achieving that position. But I do think he means everything he says about Belter independence. I don't think Dawes would ever, for instance, sell out the Belt for his own benefit. It was interesting that Naomi knew about the monitoring privileges of parents...but she was really quick to deny that she had children. Speaking of children, remember back on Eros when the Belters asked to tag along with them, Alex agreed when he saw the little girl. Remember too, it was the frightened little boy who really got into Amos' head. And now, he immediately agrees that finding a little girl is a perfectly good reason to take Prax with them to Ganymede. Prax's parents probably named him for the Jovian moon "Praxidike." But Praxidike was also the ancient Greek goddess of justice and retribution: The goddess of getting even.
"Is Anderson Dawes going to use it to help the Belt or is he going to use it against Earth and Mars?" Some may say that would probably be one in the same as far as his motives go.
If you listen closely to that speech Dawes is equating all of the Belt with his own power-base/faction. The Belt should be free and Dawes himself in charge is the message I'm getting.
The Belters on the ship were doing their own style of justice as there are always innocent Belters just trying to live their lives under the rule of Earth and Mars.
Drummer knew exactly the kind of message Dawes was going to send, and Fred definitely should have listened to her and taken it in the office 🙄
And so begins the wonderful journey of Miss Camina Drummer.
Yes sir! One badass Belter!
@@jamesholland5761 Correction: The badass Belter 😁
@@dennistomsen5822 truth that!

It was interesting that Prax first asked about Mei in standard English, but the other Belter ignored him until he repeated the question in lang belta.
Ahh yes, the episode where Drummer becomes a bonifide badass.
In my mind, Fred is the man that Dawes pretends to be.

Considering that it was Earth-Mars shenanigans that caused the Ganymede catastrophe in the first place and made them refugees.
