  • Removing the rear head rests is a royal pain in the neck. But hopefully this will help you out.

That helped, but there is a short cut. Push the material down where the headrest meats the seat. Get needle nose on clips and pull the clips out from the front.you won't need to remove the back of the seat....

Yes, thank you I just did it this easier way in my Gladiator. No more obstructed view and even though I would collapse them the kids would always push them back up. Nobody sits in my back that’s tall enough to benefit from them anyway. Cheers.

My 2021 Gladiator had no clips. The headrests just pulled out straight up. Wonder if they made this easier for families.

Yeah, the title is inaccurate. The JL platform is nothing like this.

Good to know! I'll make the change to the title. Thank you!

Thank you kindly. Love the comment about how jeep makes everything removable but the headrest so complicated.

This was incredibly helpful, thank you! Couldn't get my son's car seat to fit properly until I did this fix.

I have an update on my Bartact rear seat covers on my JL. Apparently the "seamstress" didn't sew the velcro in to either of my top seat covers for the rear. I no longer have to use this video to put my seat covers on because they are sending me 2 top seat covers with velcro as a replacement.
I have been searching for a long time to find something to show me how to remove the rear headrests in my 2018 Jeep Wrangler us JL. I still don't know. Will this work?
