I just came home from Thailand and dated a great lady, little younger around my age 44 years old. She was great, showed me around and never ask about money. My initial thought is that she is different from other thai girls. We had a great time for 2 weeks and she also followed me to Bangkok for my 4 last days in Thailand. She didnt want to follow me to the airport because she didnt want the agony to see me leave, but the day before she altered her plans and followed me and took the train back to her home outside Bangkok. I like her very much and I want to believe she likes me too, we have still contact, but now she is asking about money to pay her bank.... I have read about red signs about thaigirls and money. I havent given her anything, explaining i have my apartment/ interest that i have to pay to the bank also.
I still dont know if its still about "love" from her side or is it just money...

Hey Mohamed, take some time to get to know the girl well before committing anything to the relationship. If she is constantly asking you for money, that is a red flag.
Never get those from the clubs or pubs or city girls. They are mostly westernized and you wont notice it. They hide it pretty well. If you want, get those village or outside city girls. But still, there are plenty that are westernized too because of social media. Its not like 20-30 years ago where its fairly easy. Not mostly are just looking for white or western men to fund their lifestyle.

I would not say "finding a decent Thai gf takes efforts". I would say it is "practically impossible", for a foreigner. Thai "bar girls and other workers in entertainment industry" are very open and friendly. The other are SIMPLY NOT. And the dream of all Thai girls is to get appreciated and married by a Thai man.
