Well, just got back from Thailand. Had awesome time there, girls are wonderfull, easy to talk to and interested in you if you look nice and behave ( I am not a guy who pays ) no problem. Beach Road girls go to after 11 PM in the night clubs so at night clubs are the same girls as on Beach Road. They are not sick or dangerous at all but on beach Road, you pay less than in nightclubs. A few years I lived there and I know go-go girls' short time is much less than 6.000 baht for sure. 6000 baht you have to pay for a long time with some special show dancer.

I go to thailand every year in april/may and in october/september. I went there on my own for the first time at the age of 66 and have been another three times since. you could always make friends with some more seasoned travelers who may advise you.
