Hi guys! i didn’t realize the apologising ended up being such a theme (hahaha i guess it is the Dane in me - i can’t help it) but my intentions were just to share some of the issues that come up when creating content not so much to apologise for myself 😉 Hope you enjoyed the video just the same 🤍 see you for lots more knitting in the next one 🤗
Please don’t apologise for anything you do or don’t do, or for making the plans to be kind to yourself. It’s a lesson for us all. I love love love your content, whether it is knitting or house related. Your daughter’s room was stunning. Even if you only ever released one video a year I would be happy with that 😊
Good morning, please don’t take any notice of unkind comments you are doing a marvellous job. It is very interesting relaxing and pleasurable to watch you.
I love your podcast and I enjoy it every single time. You don’t have a professional studio and you’re not supposed to eliminate sounds. Your podcast is great and you are a lovely person. ❤from Sweden!
It’s always nice to see a new video from you, have fun getting your house your home. Do not apologize for noises, specially when it comes from the kids or the cat 😂 who ever is looking for the perfect videos they can go to the regular tv shows or the movies. We are lucky for people like you that are willing to share their time and creativity so if this is not for them you can do without complaining people. If not a constructive comment don’t mind them and don’t stress yourself.
Please don’t worry about a bit of a noise in the background. We all have noises in our houses and it makes it just a bit more realistic. I, personally, like to have the winter patterns in the summer so I have some time to actually complete it in time to wear it at the right time of year! 🤗
Lærke you have a lovely podcast and I’ve enjoyed every single episode! I was so excited to see your podcast on decorating your daughter’s room. You are such an inspiration. 🌸
I get so tired of people always complaining about insignificant things. You spend a lot of time doing this for us I certainly agree, I thought someone was copying you. I ignore them and just order from you. Your designs are lovely and I am going to cast on your lovely hat once again. My daughter absolutely loved it. Also loved your Bee shawl also . thanks for your work.
Oh my goodness. I don't' expect perfection in a recording, nor should anyone expect perfection!! Your podcasts are wonderful - don't worry about things you can't control! 💕
I haven't had an issues with your podcast. Some people like to find fault with everything. Podcasters are just normal people giving us insight into their normal lives. I look forward to seeing what you have done with your new home and of course you knitting content.
You are doing an amazing job. i appreciate you taking the time and making those podcasts, I have no complaints about your videos, they are real, made by a real person, and that is what makes it so warm and welcome, keep up the good work,
Dear Lerke! The most value and beautiful content are YOU AND YOUR PERSONALITY!! I´m looking forward to the "house-decorating content" and sewing, gardening etc..., all in YOUR way! Much love🥰🥰
You are amazing with what you do... I would love to see more of your stunning photography and more of your home making or home decoration contents along with knitting related stuffs. I understand you can't put out new episodes regularly but when ever there's one I'm really happy to watch it. Keep doing what you love and do it on your comfort.
Sweet girl, don’t worry about what you think other people what you to podcast about. As your channel evolves, so will your subscribers. New ones that prefer a broader selection of topics will come on board and others who are looking for something super specific may go but it’s all good! For me, I am interested more in an “aesthetic” rather than just a show and tell (there are tons and tons of those) so please continue with whatever makes you joyful to share. ❤
I absolutely love your podcast. It was so inspiring seeing you on your daughters room. So inspiring. I love your cat coming in saying hello. When you apologize about noise I can't hear it. Thank you for sharing your designs with us. ❤
I'm happy to see so many responses, telling you not to take notice of negative comments. You are doing this for free, so if somebody is not content, they should just skip to the next video. You're doing it so well Lærke, and you are great indpiration for so many. Please will you tell the amounts of yarn needed for your Bakker? 🙂
I really enjoyed this podcast. Thank you so much. I would love to hear more about your plans for your house. Don’t worry about background noises, all part of family life. To be honest I didn’t even notice the different sounds until you apologised for them! I prefer knitting garments & shawls for winter and I’m also happy to knit these throughout the year, even in the middle of summer so I’d be happy to find new winter sweaters being released in July. Best of luck with your beautiful designs.
I’ve just found your podcast via Bobbles and Berries and I found this episode very interesting. I look forward to watching more. I liked it when your cat joined in!
I don’t mind background noises, it’s just part of life. I’m also a fan of home renovation videos, so I welcome following what you do with your new home. Always good to get new ideas and inspiration. Helle of Danish Musings also makes travel vlogs which I enjoy as much as her knitting podcasts. It was interesting to hear (in your other podcast) that you two had met up. I’d love to have heard that chit chat! I also follow It is a Sarah podcast (from the Netherlands) and she had knitted socks with that Christmas yarn. I think she cut out that funny white and brown band! 😅 anyway, just keep on being you. 😊
Love your podcasts ❤ Don't worry about negative people, a lot of them are probably just jealous. You spend a lot of time explaining and apologising in this video, but there's really no need. This is your channel and you can do what you want. You don't owe us anything!
I just found your channel and I think your a joy to watch! I can’t wait to see your patterns that you have planned! Always be true to yourself and enjoy life ❤
Podcasts are meant to be natural. That would mean color changes, sound issues, camera issues, lighting issues, everything! It is what makes a podcast relatable. So please don't apologize 🙂 I am so happy you are taking time to take care of yourself this year. It is a wonderful goal.
Laerk you have such a unique and lovely TH-cam channel and appreciate your creativeness and willingness to share your talents. Your videos, patterns etc… are a work of art! Thank you for your time and sharing. I can’t wait for your shawl designs to come out!
Thank you for your inspiring videos Laerke. I can't wait for the Bakker Shawl. Plötulopi is an unspun yarn, I have never used it before because I get stressed with yarns breaking so easily, but I am tempted with your shawl. If you add in the pattern a video on how you join broken ends of this unspun yarn, it would be great. XXXOOOXXX
I so enjoy your podcast! I’m sorry you’ve received criticism for noise- it’s your home and that happens. I also like the socks you made for your daughter- I try to remember my kids don’t care if it’s “perfect “. They just love the item and the fact that I made it for them and they feel loved. Looking forward ti your next episode 😊
Don't hold your designs! Lots of us actually like to work on things which can be done for the NEXT season. It's nice to work on an autumn cardigan during the summer so I can actually wear it in time. (That's why I never finish any summer project in proper time - it's all released in the summer so while I get to decide what to cast on and buy the yarn the summer is over...)
I made knitting double pointed from bamboo skewers when I didn't have my set with me and they came out great. All you need to do is to shape the ends, file even with nail file and oil them.
I would be interested if you could go back over your earlier designs and talk about the ways you choose different constructions and stitch patterns and what you have learned along the way.
Hello! I love cardigans too- so easy to take on and off as needed. Here's a couple that I really liked to make- the Mariechen by Isabelle Kramer fits so well and is an engaging blend of lace/cables/stockinette and it looks great in a rustic wooly wool. I also enjoyed the Field Day cardigan by Ozetta which is more casual and boxy, but has a really interesting construction where you start with knitting a tiny rectangle in the back of the neck and build from there. Hope those help! Your podcast is great and I definitely don't mind house content, in fact I think it's a bonus. As a North American I think it's wonderful to take in your gorgeous Danish aesthetic!
I love ALL your content. Your house journals and your knitting videos are so inspiring. Thank you for taking time out of your busy days to share your home and making. Also, adore seeing your cats. 🥹
i really love your videos and your beautiful designs. It's very exciting to see your house and countryside because I love seeing different places around the world. I'm from Vermont, USA.
Your videos are so beautiful! I loved your last couple of "home projects" videos also. People can be so fussy, but truly your content is wonderful, no matter what you post!
Personally, I do like to see the “other content”, in addition to the knitting. You can’t please everyone. I’d love to see more about your island (not really so small! Odense is there!) and I find it fascinating to see “walking tour” footage of a podcaster’s town, surroundings, the local shops … eg grocery store. Keep doing as you do. Cheers!
The term you were looking for in English is "Bite off more than I can chew." :) I keep hoping you'll create a yoke neck sweater or cardigan with the bees on the yoke. I mean, I could figure it out since I've made the shawl, so I know how to make the bees. I also know that the odds of me actually doing that are slim to none. 🤣 So, if you decide to do one, I'll be first in line. Grins!
I can only agree with the previous comments. No apologies necessary....ever! Kindness is the key in life and especially in our comments on here. Thank you Laerke and looking forward to the patterns to come. Steph in Croydon uk
Hello Laerke. It’s always a treat to watch one of your podcasts. I would love to know about the ones you watch, since you mentioned you had resumed watching podcasts. Take care !
I love, love the shawl, can't wait for a pattern to come out! Socks are amazing.. beautiful. Your podcasts are great! I enjoy them very much. sending love, hugs, prayers from Oregon USA.
Hello, so happy to watch your video. It's always beautiful, interesting and makes me feel cosy. So a huge thank you for that and if you want to make a Patreon or so, it will be great but you have to take pleasure from it. You can share contents from designing, gardening, photo, decorating. But it surely takes times. Hope to not forget your next shop update... ha ha ! I always forget, I will try to write it somewhere. 🧡🧡🧡
I’m amazed that people complain to you about sounds. Do they live in a cone of silence? Whatever you, post is always lovely, knitting or house journal. Love your podcast
I’ve made the tulc cardigan which was a clever, fun but unusual design knit, that is the button holes were off center and the back rides higher than front. I’m not interested to knit again and on the hunt for another pattern. I’m so glad you took the time to record this episode. Thank you.
I would be so excited if you included house designing and decorating. I love your style and would definitely love the inspiration from seeing more of your home. ❤
It’s lovely to see you again and hear about what’s happening g in your world! No apologies needed for whatever…I love you’re filming in your lovely home with washing machine noises in the background! No problems at all!. I’m soooo excited about your latest pattern for the scarf/shawl coming out the end of January….It’s lovely….I am a garter fan and the extra detail really sets it apart. It will be in my shopping cart when it’s available❤️. I’m happy to hear you have set limits on what you want to do….. it’s a healthy way to run a business and the only way to continue a creative process and remain happy with your production. You do what you need to do for you and your family. Your audience will follow your lead….I promise…😉. Happy New Year, gayle in MinnesotaUSA.
Dude I love the knitting and I love the house stuff. Don't worry about the haters. If they don't like your content like you said they don't have to watch. You are amazing and I have loved being on this journey with you.
I love your videos and I also like the mixed content, so will not unsubscribe. It is sad that people watch just to steal your designs. I also had a not so productive 2023 but have big plans for this year and very excited about it. Lots of natural dyeing I have been planning for years I will be getting to now. I also have plans of starting a limited range of comfy, casual clothes in natural fabrics with natural dyes. Releasing a design in summer is not a bad idea so one can start knitting ahead for winter. I love the house decoration videos. The scarf is gorgeous
Hi, just watched a podcast from Danish Musings , loved seeing you and Helle going to a fiber fest together. please do a podcast with her one day, that sounds like a lot of fun,
Have loved your house videos and your knitting content! You do you, don’t pay any attention to anyone else. Would love to hear more about your design process!
You tube sent you to me for the first time today and your intro showing lots of ways to wear a shawl, really caught my eye. Il ove your philosophy of keeping life simple and heard no background noise, but would not be offended if I did, so am looking forward to future postings. As a new knitter, the creative shawls sound really fun to me, but do what speaks to you and it will be appreciated.
Hi Laerke, loved seeing you again. Your new home looks so homey and comfortable. I love the wall paper you used in your little girls room. She is so lucky. I think the socks you knitted were very unique. Sarah from It Is A Sarah, made some just like them. Keep up doing what you love. I understand getting overwhelmed. People who are artistic have so much inspiration it is hard to accomplish it all. I always want to do so many things I get anxious because I can’t do it all.
I love your content about your house AND about your knitting! Please don’t apologize for life sounds. It just blows my mind what people say. Anyway, your videos are amazing! Keep up the great work!!
Happy and creative new year, Laerke! I am so looking foward to your videos - I am aslo happy that you plan to do some home videos (I would also like gardening ones!). I used to disain a bit 10 years ago and I aslo didn't have time to knit other designers patterns (and I also thought I shoud come up with everything by myself) and that was not good for my knitting mojo. Because designing-and-knitting your own thing and knitting following a nice pattern are two very different things. Petiteknit is very good at coming up with new (or well forgotted old) construction ideas - her April cardigan, as well as Eva, have really cool construction. Sandnes Garn has also interesting techniques (I lliked their Franky cardigan).
🥳 happy New Year! Cardigans, Soop knits has many I love the sweet stripe is first, then nonna manmi ? , there are many she has, she is a Korean designer I believe. Take care.😊
I love your podcast and mostly because you are so unique! Your designs are very special. You just mentioned maybe you would record your process along the way and release it after you launch the design. I think this would be amazing and could develop into something uniquely you.
Thank you for sharing your troubles, my son wants me to be a content creator as well and I'm very diverse with my talents. May you have a good year with minimal stress
Love the new scarf coming out :) - dark green is one of my fav lately too. I haven't knit any cardigans in adult size (only kids ones), but in my favourites I like the Carbeth cardigan (Kate Davies), Heirloom Quilt Cardi (Katryn seeburger), Trinigan (Andrea Mowry), Tioraidh (Kate Davies). Happy making!
Lovely to see and hear you,,,, Love UR surroundings,,,,,my taste,,,,,very nice,,,, Calming ,,,,I find ur videos calming and love ur gentle voice,,,, Sweet socks for UR daughter for Christmas,,, Take care,, Elaine 💖🏠
Another lovely episode! Thank you for sharing your journey with us, cat and washing machine and all. 😀 It’s real life and we don’t expect studio-perfect. Regarding a nice cardigan, I can recommend Joji’s Aimee Cardigan. She used 5 colors, but you can use whatever you want - I used 2 colors but it would be beautiful in more or less. It’s a simple construction, generous fit and v-neck, but the details are very nice and produce a sweater that almost looks store-bought.
Dear Lærke, you don't need to apologize for anything. It's your work, your channel. Also, I didn't hear a single sound of anything in the background. Nor in the previous episodes 🤷♀️ that probably depends on the device the viewer watches your video. I watch on my TV with a great sound system and didn't hear anything annoying...
Don't be too hard on yourself. I prefer natural disruption and genuine talk to patreon of people who do not really add much. Everything I knitted from you I love and wear a lot. That white pullover you are wearing is gorgeous. I love your esthetics. Just breathe and be you.
I love your designs. They are simple but yet they have unique features. Some cardigan designs that I have been liking are from Tin Can Knits, Rebecca Clow, Kate Davies and Kutovakika. Too many things to knit and not enough time!
Hi guys!
i didn’t realize the apologising ended up being such a theme (hahaha i guess it is the Dane in me - i can’t help it) but my intentions were just to share some of the issues that come up when creating content not so much to apologise for myself 😉

Gracious! It’s hard to believe people actually complain about ambient sounds. These aren’t professional productions. Your podcasts are lovely.
I love your podcast and I enjoy it every single time. You don’t have a professional studio and you’re not supposed to eliminate sounds. Your podcast is great and you are a lovely person. ❤from Sweden!
It’s always nice to see a new video from you, have fun getting your house your home.

Lærke you have a lovely podcast and I’ve enjoyed every single episode! I was so excited to see your podcast on decorating your daughter’s room. You are such an inspiration. 🌸
Please don’t let the negative persons ruin your day … they can keep their bad energies… your podcast is enjoyable and I love to listen to them !

You are doing brilliantly, there is always some people who complain just for the sake of complaining. Keep up the great work you do❤
I love green as well - the scarf is beautiful! I enjoy hearing about your garden and home renovations.

It’s always such a pleasure to find out you’re back on TH-cam!!!! The joys of winter! Thanks for sharing your projects and whatever you feel like. 💌

Do what makes you happy, and we appreciate your time!😊
Ankestrick and Hinterm Stein have very interesting cardigan construction. Your cat purrs loud, she should give my cat lessons!
Thank you for your inspiring videos Laerke. I can't wait for the Bakker Shawl. Many of us prefer a V-neck, it’s flattering to most. I for one would appreciate a sweater pattern that has two options for the neck.
Hello Laerke. It’s always a treat to watch one of your podcasts. I would love to know about the ones you watch, since you mentioned you had resumed watching podcasts. Take care !
I really enjoy your channel! Videos don’t have to be totally perfect, I enjoy regardless! 🎉
Yes to the idea of designing content.

Hi, I always love your podcasts. I'm sorry there has been negativity. Thank you for taking the time to make them.
I like to watch you regardless of what you post coz you are a darling❤. Thank you. Loads 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I love your podcast! Please be kind to yourself, and don't worry about what people say about your podcast. Thanks for all you do!
This was a lovely video! I love the sweater that you are wearing! The house looks beautiful! I love the colors! The socks are so cute! Happy New year!
Big Love by Ankestrick is my favourite cardigan. Your new pattern is beautiful!! 😍
I think this would be amazing and could develop into something uniquely you.
wow. only after 3 minutes of the video I immediately feel that I will love love love you and your content !!
Aww that is so sweet! Thank you! 🤍🤍🤍
Glad I came across your channel. Love your room and your kitty is very cute. I have 3 kitties ❤
Gott Nytt År till dig och din familj, lilla Lærke. Tack för ett nytt avsnitt och HEJ Bakker sjalen som är PRECIS det jag letat efter länge 🤩

I love to watch your videos and knit your designs
Your videos are always nice, life happens, carry on your much braver podcasting than me I couldn’t do it xx
Just subscribed :-) I love the design of the wall behind you. I really liked knitting my ,Mariechen' Cardigan from Isabell Kraemer.
You are delightful! I love your patterns. Just finished the Hiedra Mitts and I’ve been wearing them everyday.🥰
Oh that makes me so happy to hear you enjoy my patterns 🥰
I love your podcast and the house diaries. I'm looking forward to knitting the shawl. ❤❤❤❤
Good day first time listening to your podcast.I enjoyed and subscribed I like your knit patterns.
Love the sweater your wearing.
Happy knitting
Don't be too hard on yourself. I prefer natural disruption and genuine talk to patreon of people who do not really add much. Everything I knitted from you I love and wear a lot. That white pullover you are wearing is gorgeous. I love your esthetics. Just breathe and be you.
I am new to your podcast but I am enjoying it!
I love your designs. They are simple but yet they have unique features. Some cardigan designs that I have been liking are from Tin Can Knits, Rebecca Clow, Kate Davies and Kutovakika. Too many things to knit and not enough time!
Thankyou for the loveliest podcast all so interesting and how exciting to be doing up your house very good wishes from the uk x
