    I always remember the story of how Alan Moore became a Jack Kirby fan as a kid when his mother had bought him a copy of Fantastic Four #3 back in the early sixties thinking it was a Blackhawk comic and he was completely gobsmacked by it.

    When I read this in the mighty world of marvel(uk) I knew what the cosmic rays penetrating the hull sounded and felt like.great version you have there Tom.I have many versions but I return to the black and white essentials or my hard worked copy of the mighty world of marvel number one.more power to you Tom.

    I like the Challengers of the Unknown that Kirby did but it has a newspaper comic strip feel, Kirby did a strip Sky Masters that had a similar feel.
