I might know this guy, Fire mix fam!
Thanks for stopping in my man. Hope you're having a great day.
would be upgrading from a Rane Empath (non-rotary conversion) to either the Euphonia or V10! Tough decision as I've always wanted a Rotary! Any way, great mix mate - just found you and have subscribed. Keep it up!
That is a super tough decision. I already own the V10 - favorite mixer ever so I'm a bit biased. Between my V10 and my Warm2, the Euphonia for me would feel kind of redundant. Now if you were choosing between A9 and Euphonia, I'd say Euponia. I do think if you are a producer and want a mixer that also doubles as a production "home base," the V10 is the way. But for just mixing digital/vinyl, really tough call. The Euphonia edges the V10 on sound but both sound fantastic. I really don't think you will go wrong with either but definitely let me know where you land. Both mixers are really something special coming from a company like Pioneer/Alpha Theta.
Hello Phil, thanks for the mix and the impression of the mixer. May I ask, is this the native sound from your recording, or did you edit anything after recording?
We did run through Audacity to even things out. No more editing than that.
Many thanks for your Answer, i think my new Device is Coming, solid Signal Flow.
Bro just don’t leave the master insert on unless it’s some high End audio inputs and outputs lol
totally agree. with you. Noticeable difference in sound quality.
So I gather this means you like it. I wish I never sold my Rmx 1000.
If I were to give it a grade, the Euphonia would be a B. Really nice execution with efx routing, overall feel, and sound quality, I just can't get over the fact that they used that terrible plastic on the upper 1/3rd and really do think they are going to have issues with the weak efx selector switch - time will tell on the rest of the build quality. If those two items were addressed, I'd give it an A-. As I said in my video, overall my V10 offers more flexibility and I'm convinced now more than ever, the V10 is the best mixer Pioneer has ever produced - just my opinion though obviously.
@@seattlehousemafia I agree with this statement. I have both units and quite honestly, the v10 is the one. And I agree with you on the plastics and flimsy selector switch. They really should’ve gone full rotary treatment, with the eqs etc. Really dope unit, but inconsistent quality feel across the unit. Hopefully this isn’t their only rotary.
I added the rmx1000 and it made the euphionia sound terrible
@@djBroRay Wow! Really!?
