Wonderful stash hon ❤ You have a great eye for beauty and detail. I admire your organization skill too.
I could watch you for hours 😊
So amazing ❤
We have a problem don’t we….we have a job so we can afford all of our patterns and fabric but we need to quit our jobs to have enough time to stitch all the patterns. So much beauty!
Love Every. Single. Chart. In your stash parade! Drooling. Love spending an afternoon with you. 😘
Don't get drool on my charts! LOL! Thanks so much for watching, my friend!
Wow….I think what you showed is what you have not started or completed. Absolute heaven for people like me.
How wonderful, a video from you that is over two hours. I looked into it extensively. So cozy, sitting on the floor and showing off all your cross stitch patterns.
I always admire your seasonal stitches, such as those framed seasonal Quakers (which are fantastic), and that is why I am looking for a nice project (or four 😉) to hang up and change each season. And then you showed the Kooler Design samplers. These have been on my wish list for years. So maybe that will be my next purchase. Fortunately, you can now also buy these digitally, which is handy because I live in the Netherlands.
Thank you for showing off all your beautiful patterns. I enjoyed it!!💜😊
Carolyn, thank you for taking the time to share your very extensive accumulation of charts. You have such a nice variety of pieces to stitch from smalls to full coverage. Happy stitching. 😊
Thank you so much for watching!
Oh, my! Love all the eye candy!! Yes, I made a list! LOL!! I, too, love the designs on the Bothy kits. I’m pretty sure I have a couple myself. Thank you so much for the chart/kit parade! Hugs!❤
Thank you for all the work you did to show us your patterns and kits. There were quite a few new to me patterns and kits. I really enjoyed it!!!!
So many good charts! By the way, A Stitch in Time is still open! It’s in my town & they still sell those Halloween charts. Pretty sure they’re the only place that designer is available to purchase anymore.
Oh yes. Of course you enabled me. But just a couple of charts I think I need. I enjoy these chart dives. It's like browsing through a needlework shop. Thanks. Also, please go back to the JanLynn kit from your Grandmother and take the needle out of the fabric. That's a rust stain just waiting to happen.
Loved seeing this video. Perhaps you can stitch on your grandmothers kit for 30 minutes or one thread a day, so it does not take all of your stitching time but it will get finished, as it is a nice remembrance piece.
Groetjes, Evelien
Loved it! I have added 20 new projects to my wish list. Thank you and good luck with cleaning up
I share your love of seasonal series! I have stitched the Seasons in my Garden by Nora Corbett I love that they are self portraits and enjoy changing them each season. I have also completed the Celtic Women series. They are opulent!
Thanks for sharing your treasues!
Oh love it! Thank you so much. Really enjoyed it!! I have after the roses too and think I will start it in 2024. Video reminded me how pretty the colors are!
You have enabled me to look through all of my kits and kitted projects. Thanks, this was lots of fun.
How fun!!
Thank you so much for watching!
Wow! What an amazing library/collection! Thank you so much for sharing
Thanks so much for watching!
I loved seeing all the patterns and kids you have. It drives me crazy not to be able to do the ones I have, and I probably have 1/100 of what you have. 🙃
Let the enabling begin! I have my notebook ready with a pencil, not that I need to buy any more! Heehee!
It’s the Season, let me know, I’ll start it with you. I’m starting Rosewood Manor’s Bakers dozen with EJ in December. And 13th Colony by Donna Bayliss in January.
Me too. I’m ready to find more!
I was born in Nebraska, but my family move when I was young. I too, feel like I don't have enough time to stitch all the projects I have.
Hi Sweetie! boy how I love a stash dive. Let the enabling begin! One tip I wanted to share about pattern organization. I've created a folder on my computer labeled Pattern Inventory, in which I save snips of stock photos of all my patterns. I can view them as large thumbnails, and scroll down to look for something specific or what catches my eye. The picture files are saved with filename format: Design Name - Designer Name. Then I have a file cabinet to store the physical patterns in A-Z file folders by Designer Name. So if I'm looking to a specific Designer, I can go to the file cabinet and pull the file folder they are in. If I know the name of the design, but not the designer, I go to my Pattern Inventory folder to find it and what the designer's name is, then to the file cabinet. I am so glad I took the time to set this system up. It is so easy to use, and I love scanning through the pictures when I have a prompt to fill that none of my WIPS don't fit, and deciding what to start next.
Carolyn please move the needle from your Grandma's needlework. Ive seen where needles can rust the fabric and it would be a shame. Yes finish her work with your own stitching. It would be such a nice tribute to her memory. Wow! you do have a load of charts. Good luck ! It is nice to go through them from time to time. Also, get in those good naps when you can.! Hi to Jack and Simon!
Yes, I was already thinking of adding Serenita Di Campagna to the 2025 Designer focus list. She has a lot of cool Halloween patterns.
Oh yay!!! So happy to hear this!!
Love the chart parade. I took down so many new ones! Thank you!
Thanks so much for watching!!
So much fun seeing all your stuff! Now I got to organize 😬!
Love love to organize!
You have a lot of amazing projects. Loved your stash dive! Happy stitching!
Thank you, my friend! I need more hours in the day to stitch more!
This was a lot of fun to watch !!!
So many wonderful projects I have written down a few I would like to add to my collection :) Happy stitching Patty
Thanks so much for watching, my friend!
I love stash dives! I figured the most effective way of putting my "must get" list together was to just pull up 123 stitch and add to wishlist.
Oh this is genius! Great use of the wish list!
Enjoyed your stash
Well, love your video, but I need a few mirabilia charts I’ve been wanting, that you showed among a few others. It’s amazing how much we collect before we realize it. Loved seeing everything! We have the same dinner ware. :) you have fun visiting with the donkeys!
A stunning collection x Thanks so much for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Love this! Thanks for sharing!
I am new here and happy to be here but wish you would mention all the designers, I live in the country and have to order online it is hard looking for the patterns without a designer name, thank-you for sharing your stash with us.
Thank you for your video. Yikes, I don't even know where to start! Let me grab my wallet and come over and do some shopping!😉 You do have some gorgeous kits and charts. What we all need to do is get that timepiece from that Outer limits episode, that stops time! Wouldn't that be lovely! Have fun,l pulling out items to stitch! Take care and happy stitching!
😍Amazing!!!!
So many beautifull charts, so little time! lol Yet we keep buying. Im taking my time watching because I am trying to take notes for my wish list.
We need more time!!
We really need more hours in the day!
It doesn’t help that I had so create an order while watching. You are one of my enablers thank you very much. LOL. So much to stitch and so little time. I’m not getting any younger either! Enjoyed your sharing. It reminded of a time when after eating lunch we would crawl up on my granny’s bed and would open up her trunk and look at all the pretties. Items that had been handed down from one generation to the next. Photos, baby clothes, items that are stitched, etc. Enjoyed it thoroughly!
Totally enabled got a list now to add to my list !!🤭🤣
YAY!!!
That was so fun, Carolyn!! So many great patterns. I love the pillows on your daybed.
You have quite a few patterns in your stash that I do. I haven't started stitching them either because of what I'm doing now. One day though....
Okay dearest friend, I have to pipe up with an opinion here. If you are going to start a new seasonal series next year, I think you need to do the Kohler Design Seasonal Cat Samplers since you don't have very many projects with cats in them right now. I really need to get the Enchanted Ornament stocking kit if I can still find it. I had the Noel kit but gave it to my daughter to stitch because of the dark fabric and she certainly has not had time to stitch much of anything since Walter was born. You really need to do Search the Sky. Thanks for the stash dive! Happy stitching and napping.
Definitely start snapshots they are so precious and mine give me joy every month ❤ love love your collection of Mira’s and wish I had them myself but I have 3 going now plus all the other things and I really need a week to fully finish! It’s getting to be a very large pile to do!😂 love it all Carolyn!
So many pretty charts! It’s a vicious circle to work to support our hobby but work gets in the way of hobbies. Curious where in Nebraska you grew up. I grew up in Grand Island and live in Lincoln.
Loved all the charts, you 100% enabled me! Now I want to start all the things…
Your stash is so wonderfully varied, it was so fun to see. I want to start Tis the Season this December as well. I've definitely been thinking about getting the Vicki Clayton silk conversion for it. It will be my first wip in silk if I do.
Her silks are fantastic, and my first silk piece was also with her silks - you'll love it!
I wouldn't even.know where to begin picking a favorite out of all of yours. You ha e several that I do and I'm just getting ready to start my first Nora Corbett as soon as my fabric arrives...eek! I may need some advice on beading! ❤
So many patterns, so little time! I have to stop gathering and start stitching 😂❤️🪡
I am so enabled at this point that I am definitely going to re-watch this video. I love so many of your charts & kits that I am going to be in so much trouble. Oh well, we need to acquire what we love. Thank you so much!
Yay! So happy to enable! We just need more hours in the day!
I am stitching on Sleepy Hollow for Friday the 13th as I am watching you. You have so many amazing charts.
Start Consider The Lillies next year and I will start it with you. I need someone to do it with me as it's very intimidating...🙄
Love seeing all your charts, I'm now going to watch again and make a list 😂
I rewatched today, and i think you should start the Kooler Design cat series, they are beautiful, abundant I think you would really enjoy doing them and putting them up to display. I’m sure Gary thinks you need more charts/kits, you are no where near his collection. Throughly enjoyed your collection. I was sort of amazed at the charts we have in common, of course mine are waiting too. Hope the donkey’s were fun today. TTFN my friend.
Thanks for keeping me company while I try to work this morning. We have quite a few charts sitting in our stash that are the same. Might need to do a few start alongside in 2024.
I have a huge stash and I don’t feel so bad now! I had to pause and go start my Tis the Season by Blackbird Designs. I started the Simplicity kit years ago but I haven’t gotten very far. I am going to pull it out and put more work in it.
Ha ha - I love it! I've never had someone tell me they paused a video to make a new start! Thanks for watching!
Your Jeannette Douglas Florals - instead of shortening the borders, it might be easier to lower/center the centerpiece bouquet. Did you enable? Well, I'm trying to harden my heart to buying anything more - and I'm pretty careful about what I buy anyway! Lots of wonderful charts and kits! Hope you had a good nap.
Wow, Carolyn! Not quite as epic as Gary yet but you are well on the way! You have some beautiful projects! The hard part is figuring out how to stitch them all! But I have faith in you and I know you can do it! BTW- if you want to sell some of those duplicates I would happy to pay you for them if you would make a list and send it to me. It’s the least we cross stitchers can do for each other! Have a great stitchy week !❤
Ha ha I do have plenty to keep me busy! I think I’ve already given away my ow duplicates but will let you know if I run across something I missed!
The count down charts. Get the platform for a desk flip calendar. Stitch each piece small enough to fit on the size calendar page, but mount on card stock, or sew on perforated paper and hole punch the hole placement, or use Metal eyelets and a punch. And there you go. Stitching Mommy is currently doing Brooks Books Animal Advent and putting them on index cards. Check out the last few videos and you’ll see them. Anyway then you can use one flip stand and several different count down calendars.
Great idea!
Okay... five hours later! 🤣 I've been flicking back and forward - video/internet/video. Almost everything you showed was of interest! Thanks for the rundown, Carolyn. It was fun.
Your grandmother's Joy piece wouldn't take long to do. Nor would the advents, Snapshots or HoD Halloween charts, if you did one a month. ⚘️
I have been searching for Judith Kirby #15 for sometime. If you ever decide to pass it on please consider me. I would be more than happy to compensate. Loved the whole video.
Oh, yeah. You definitely enabled a lot. :-)
Ha!! Excellent!
It's interesting how differently you collect charts than I do. I like the aesthetic of a designer and then collect a lot from a single designer. Your stash is definitely more diverse than mine. I think the Cricket Collection Skeleton Crew came from me. I bought it 3 times. I only have 2 copies in my files now. I think I may have sent that in the giant box. Lady Justice is a non-negotiable stitch for me. I just need to decide if I want to put it on the Primitive Hare fabric with the Constitution written on it or something else. I want that in my office next to my law diploma. It sounds like you have a lot of planning to do for next year!!
Ahh yes I think you’re right that you sent me the Skeleton Crew chart! Thank you! And the difference in collecting is so interesting! ❤️
Great video! 😊💛🌞
Couldn't you take a pic with your phone of your Channeling chart and zoom in?
Oh that's a good idea! I never think of that! Thank you!
That must be the clown car of under bed drawers. LOL. Here are the 4 I wrote down. Victoria Sampler-Bling Tree, La Petite Croi (sp)- Halloween Owl Pumpkins, Liz Mathews - Gifts from My Garden, and Rosewood Manor - Inspiration (What a border and the colors!) Thank you for enabling me but for now they are just on a post it. LOL I need an under-bed drawer that goes on for miles.
It's a HUUUUUUGE drawer lol! I love it! Good choices you picked!!
Oh boy, I can feel my bank balance complaining even before you get started...lol...notepad and pen at the ready.
How in the world did you fit all those kits into that one drawer? It seemed like magic. 😂 Someday, I want to do all the seasonal Kooler kits with the cats, because it has cats, birds, and flowers, which is the trifecta for samplers. This was a lot of fun. If only we could stitch 24/7.
😂😂 It’s the Mary Poppins drawer! It just keeps going and going and going! 😂 I love love love the cats seasonal pieces too! We need more time!
Where oh where did you find all those Mirabelia patterns??? Where can I possibly buy a couple?
I don’t see my comment but will repeat why do you want to start those 4 season kooler ones with so much small meds you could do and finish!,! Course I couldn’t keep my montage ones away till the season as want them done faster lol.. great parade!❤❤❤
Ugggh because I WANNA! LOL! Really what I need is more hours in the day instead of more WIPS!!
@@czookstitch488 lol haaaa my 2.5 yr old grandson said that to me today. You are too funny… but then I am pretty good at restraint.
@@cindygaudet1390 Ha ha ha!! Perfect - then you read it in the whiny 2.5 year old voice I was going for! LOL!!
@@czookstitch488 girl, I am almost 67 new yrs eve,but man we would have such fun! 🤩
Lots of projects, so little time.
Dimensions kits do not contain DMC floss
Good to know - I thought they did!
Wow, ur up late…so am I. 😂
