I loved living in Ulster. I was a Brit and went to university at Coleraine. As a Brit I learned very quickly where and where not to go. I didn’t realise the degree of emity between Protestants and Catholics. As a Brit it was assumed I was a Protestant. As a Brit I faced the national humiliation of the rampant anti-Catholicism and degradation of good honest folk. I’m not a republican but the Catholics were treated abysmally
While it's a good film, it is a bit depressing and silly in parts. Nice to see such a young Ciaran Hinds, I've seen him since in Veronica Guerin, The Dry and Belfast and in Some Mothers Son before this film.
This is a good movie. Excellent actor playing normal people. thank you for this excellent movie.
This movie helped me to understand a little bit more, the true struggle for peace,during those days.Well worth the watching.

They had to add the silly parts as u say to bring the seriousness of this to long situation

The guy with the carbine at the start looks very similar to "frames" the guy shot dead in resurrection man.
