Hey Christian. I’ve been playing with the looper on my ME-80 and found that rounds and canons were good tools to train myself in the rhythm of looping: coming in rhythmically and not clipping or over playing phrases. Thanks for the tutorial.

You da man, Christian! I think another reason that people get overwhelmed [in addition to your points about wanting to create something] is when they get overwhelmed by the fancy features that many loop pedals have.

I'm a violinist. I learned how to improv (a little) by teaching myself to play saxophone, which I love the sound of, and by playing in a jazz band. This was when I was in HS a long time ago (seems like yesterday...lol). Improv wasn't super easy, though (still isn't), but the thing that's cool is I've recently realized I can actually "scat," which I think is a form of improvisation. Now I just have to transfer that skill to instrumentation.
Hope that cough wasn't from COVID. If it was, I hope you had a 100% recovery. 🙂
