Thanks for the story Fred. I just discovered your channel about a month ago, I grew up in northwest Washington state, and when you describe these forest areas it really takes me back, so thank you for that. Rich from idaho.
Thanks Fred. Good to see you again. Travis, we thank you for sharing your experience with us. Hope to see you again soon Fred. Take care and stay safe. Mike
Fred, thanks for the great story from your Carpenter friend. I would have hated to be in his situation, especially with no way out of there! I am glad that he was not injured or worse! We have missed you!
Thank you Fred for making time to do a video with nice rain sound effects ❤️And thank you Travis for sharing! Now I know how to make a contractor work faster 😂🙏👣
Thank you Fred! I'm subscribed to your channel. Keep on sharing the stories brother. You tell them well. Much love brother, all the way from Decherd Tennessee
Thanks Fred. I've been eagerly waiting. A good one for real. Travis, thank you for sharing your encounter. Please put map locations back on the videos.
Another amazing, terrifying post and thank you for posting. I don't think I'd be cranking up the generator to make it even louder since it appears from may accounts that they don't like the loud noise and that would just infuriate them more. Best from Colorado!
Thank you Travis for sharing, glad things didn't get any crazier. Now at least we know the Hairy Man likes Alfredo Pasta. Lol Thanks Fred, take care play safer
Happy New Year. Thanks for the retelling - I too kinda chuckled when I imagined him fixing his shack like Elmer Fudd in a hurry - I feel bad for the guy but lol - you prob gotta laugh rather than cry poor guy.
@@Scott-b8eI’m in Hillsboro and was surprised last week when I heard that someone has seen three of them on the outskirts of Beaverton! (Just off of a paved city walking trail 😳)

Much appreciated Fred and Travis! Pretty freakin hair-raising encounter for something that doesn't exist! Lol.. It's hard to believe people still laugh off these kinds of eyewitness experiences. Keep it goin Fred, you've got the right idea with all of your documentation with the map.
This would sound like a great job to do except the fact of were you are is a chance to encounter a hairyman and since he was left there with no ride it could have got a lot worse wow I think he done a good job staying focused!!! Thank you Fred and hope all stays well!!!
Fred would never ask, but i will! Send this fine man some likes, shares....subscribe! Comment! Let's get the subs to 30k and upward. One of the best channels on the topic, Alaska specific.
Any place with DEVIL in its name should alert you to the fact that the area has a long, terrible history and to proceed into its environs with caution.
From what I've read in the past regarding dangerous animals, the polar bear is considered to be one of the most dangerous animals in the world, as it will attack humans when it sees a person or people compared to other bears i.e., grizzlies/black bears who mostly attack when it feels threatened or worse-- hungry, however the encounters of the 'hairy man' in Alaska are at a higher level of dangers with greater ability to scare, harm and/or kill people going by your shares of peoples' encounters in Alaska Fred. Where I'm from, all the stores of the 'Wild man of the woods' as they're known amongst my people in the Central Coast of B.C. from ages past and up to today, the encounters do not involve the events in Alaska e.g., when one sees a 'Wild man of the woods' it runs off; no screams or other threatening sounds are made when they are spotted, nor are they made at a distance when one is in the "wilds of the area". Not saying that they, as you point out Fred, will share a basket of berries or want to weave a basket with a person or people, they simply avoid people. From the stories I've heard that when they are spotted watching a person or people they tend to leave, and the person or people that spotted it do not experience feelings of dread or impending doom, but are certainly startled, shocked, etc. by the sighting but certainly live to tell the tale. When they do their fellow tribal members do not discount, ridiculed and what-have-you, when such encounters are shared with them, esp. when the knowledge of the 'wild man of the woods' has been passed down throughout the centuries amongst my people. Mind you, there is one that is said to be very dangerous, but that it is very rarely seen or encountered, if ever. I remember to tribal name of it, but it has no description in English. It is said to be somewhere between 4 to 5 feet in height with long arms that have three long claws on them, and it is said that if one sees it or encounters it, that one should flee for their lives as fast as their legs can take them!! Another great share Fred, sounds like you've been quite busy, but plan to share more frequently than you've been able to and I look forward to them, till next one Fred, Godspeed in your travels and life journey.
