Please please please tell me your doctor told you about cat feces and pregnancy. Cat poop has a harmful toxin that becomes airborne when sifting litter that harms fetus. ❤🎉 Congratulations BTW.
Former MK Consultant and NO they do not relocate. She was probably trying to move to an area that wasn’t so saturated with consultants… still a waste of time. Fixing to give birth to my first baby boy and beyond thankful for my 9-5 job that gives me PAID leave and wonderful benefits! So happy for you on your wonderful news!
My friend used to do those electricity scams. You know the “let us see your bill and we’ll lower it.” These people who knock on your door are all paid cash by like one person who works for the actual scam. He was convinced he could become rich this way even tho he made like nothing. They even went to 2 different states at one point cuz Illinois was completely burnt up and the electric company was advertising that they will never call or show up at your house and need your bill or information. People that do that may be con artists. Basically they do lower your bill…. For like a month or maybe 2. Then they immediately jack it up and then youre fucked.
@@DowntownTasty this is the reason that I don’t answer the door if I’m alone. If I don’t know your coming over your gonna be standing there like a fool.
@@DowntownTasty omg I knew it!!!! They always ALWAYS talk a good game, cuz hello who doesn't hate AEP come on, however I always had a feeling in my gut. I'm so glad I never gave in, even when I needed a break on bills. You're the first person I've ever seen mention them before so seriously thank you. You've just confirmed something for me I thought about for years because they've been around Ohio for a while now.
Being in an MLM is like being in an abusive relationship - the gaslighting, the good moments that make you want to look past the bad moments, the isolation/cutting off friends and family, the difficulty leaving, etc. :(
You’re not wrong. Abusive dynamics really can form in ANY kind of relationship; romantic, professional, familial, work-based, platonic, religious. Abusers all are the same deep down, and use the same psychological tricks to lower people’s guards.
Absolutely! Once you learn about manipulation tactics and abusive relationships, you learn that cults are just a group version of an abusive relationship, and that MLMs use those tactics too. A lot of things about how the world works make more sense to me now that I understand how prevalent and effective these tactics are.
I’m so glad that you’re back! Congrats on your pregnancy. I really enjoy your videos because you are so sincere. I also want to thank you for speaking briefly about women who do not want to be mothers. I’m 62 and can honestly say that I just never, not even for a moment, wanted to be a mother. I can’t count the times I’ve felt looked down upon for choosing not to have children. I’ve been married for 35 years. My husband never wanted children either but that seems to be just fine that he (as a man) has made that decision, but a woman not wanting kids..oh no! I don’t mean to carry on, but I was just so touched that you, someone who’s always wanted to be a mom, sort of “stood up” for women like me. You’re great!
I'm 64 and have gone through the same. Also been told I'm selfish. I tell people to worry about a the people who have kids that shouldn't have!!! The poor kids suffer.
Ugh i hear ya. Though I’m a mom and always wanted them I’ve been through similar from the female shamed perspective. After 3 I was 30. I DESPERATELY wanted my tubes tied so I went to a gyno who did them because mine no longer did. He told me “I’m only allowing you because you’ve already had 3. Otherwise you’re too young”. What?!! Then “what if you change your mind?” “What if your husband dies or you’re not together and you want more with another man?” Um no!! I don’t want to be pregnant anymore. I know what I want. 2/3 kids I had being on other birth controls. Wanted and love them but I was done! Ugh. But if my husband wants one? No questions asked. Done.
I am 37 getting married next week, going to plan on one child. I think women have enough pressure on us to be ideal moms, wives and mothers. Nothing angers me more then when someone asks me when I am going to have kids or why not more than one. Maybe cause I do not wanna lose my entire identity.
Those lockets from Origami Owl can be bought at Michael’s craft store along with charms and chains. I bought one a while ago to put sand and tiny shells from my beach trip.
I NEED a deep dive into origami owl. I thought I was anti-MLM literate- and had no idea the weird necklace that my aunt got me in 2008 was this problematic :/ I am obsessed, and now I need you to talk more about it!
I only recently discovered Hannah and have been watching her videos in no particular order. I also did not know that OO was an MLM. I remember a period of time, probably 10-12 years ago, when OO was a topic of conversation among a bunch of parents and some of my coworkers at a daycare center where I was working. Not typically being a person who keeps up with trends or current fashion, I never seeked out anything about OO. I remember my aunt had a locket with little charms and it was cute, but that was as close as I came to OO. Fast forward about 6 or so years and I was married, living in a completely different area, with a different job, and an OO ad came across my Facebook feed. It was for the OO Harry Potter line. I love HP and checked out the website a bit. I was telling my husband about it and then it just went by the wayside. Being the man that he is, he made a mental note and for some occasion later that year, he picked out HP charms and thing to make me a Hufflepuff locket. I love that thing. A very quick Google check led me to a website of a different name, that includes three lines, including OO. My husband said the ordering process was like any other online sale, and he had no idea it was an MLM. I have to leave for work, but I am interested in further research into this later.
This should probably be a horror story email but after much prayer and consideration I invited my bio mom to our engagement party (married 12 years as of last week!) and she showed up...with Mary Kay. Her explanation was that "people needed something to talk about" and that without MK, no one would have anything to do/would not be entertained. She set up a whole booth in the middle of my MIL's living room, right next to the piano.
Adding my voice to those welcoming you back and congratulating you on your pregnancy. I also can’t be the only one of your viewers who believes you and your husband will be truly wonderful parents. Do continue to prioritize your wellness-your fan base will understand.
Yay! You’re back. My daughter is 17 and when you talked about how tough the first trimester was, I was brought right back to my first trimester with her which was miserable!! 17 years hasn’t erased that shizz 😂😂Pregnancy symptoms are no joke, so you have all my sympathies!
Yessss lol my oldest is 10 and sometimes I have a little baby fever as my twins are 7 🤣🤣😶 her experience tapped me right back into reality. I threw up every day including labor for 9 months with my oldest no no no no 1
Ya, this is a big problem in LDS communities and it makes me sad. I just moved into a new ward, and I got pitched on Mary Kay within the first 2 weeks. Luckily because of content like this, I shut it down really fast. I grew up with my mom buying stuff from Mary Kay. I used their mascara and some eyeshadows for the longest time. Until my taste in makeup changed. (I do more of a goth/e-girl look). Mary Kay is too conservative for the looks I like. But after I finally ran out of the mascara, I got a $5 one from Walmart that in my opinion, works wayy better for me. The Mary Kay one was over $20 if I remember correctly and kinda sucked. Thanks for making these videos so I can get better at recognizing these kinds of scams and save some money.
Kind of reminds me of Avon. My grandmother was really into it. And recall my mom ordering from Avon like...once. It was a lotion and it really didn't work any better than any other(cheaper) lotion. We also got an eyeliner. Wasn't any better than the type you could get from a Walmart. Grandma had an entire drawer in her bathroom full of Avon stuff.
My first eyeshadow was also a Mary Kay that my mom bought from a hon friend just to be nice. I remember it was lackluster and patchy, and I never bothered with eyeshadow again until a few years ago. Stuff like Colourpop and Urban Decay has blown me away with just how good eyeshadow can be.
@@daftoptimist Honestly ya. There are much better brands out there for eyeshadows. I've been using BH cosmetics, they're pretty good. They have a lot of bright colors if that's something your interested in.
Yes! My mom divorced my POS dad, when I was 4-5, but after that, the bishop of our neighborhood ward, called mom names & refused any help (my dad was still a pinnacle of god, even though he was abusive, to his kids physically & wife verbally). Someone roped my newly single mom, into buying the start up kit to, MK, but my mom didn't do anything w/ it & hucked it after I got a massive rash on my face & lips, from playing w/ the makeups
I can definitely relate to the whole "kids of MLM" thing. My parents got involved with Amway when I was about 9 or 10. I thought it was so cool that we got a bunch of cool products through my parents' "new business." I picked up on my parents' sales pitches and began giving them to my friends and other family members. I really did not understand what was actually going on. My parents took us to several of the conventions/conferences (we never sat through any of the "meetings" since my parents' upline were family friends with kids our age, so we'd just hang out with them and a babysitter). I thought Amway was so cool and my parents did too (at least that's what they were saying). I even wanted to become a rep when I turned 16. However, my parents stopped Amway when I was about 14 or 15. By then, the hype died and they didn't really even talk about Amway anymore. We had (still have) all the products, but my parents didn't acknowledge the company. When I was about 17, I came across a video about MLMs and I fell down the anti-MLM rabbit hole. Everything clicked. My parents still don't acknowledge Amway and purposely leave out details of them being reps when "going down memory lane." I'm glad I found anti-MLM when I was still young because I could definitely see myself being tricked into one. I was so used to Amway and I had heard a lot of the sales pitches and motivational speeches. It was so normal to me and it is very shocking to think about that. It's just such a strange experience.
Mary Kay doesn’t relocate people. She moved to Texas because the headquarters is in Texas. Also the fact she’s asking for rent money means she is not making enough in her MLM to pay for basic necessities and using other people.
(Julie Mulvihill)So great to see you back Hannah! I've been wanting to message you my congratulations 🎊 Funny story... The day after you posted your "I'm pregnant" video my son and daughter-in-law came over to visit. They told me they brought a special center piece for the table and wanted to set it up before I saw it. When I went into the dining room, on the table was a cute baby outfit and a pumpkin that said "Due April 2023"!!! I'm going to be a grandmother for the first time and I'm so excited!! I thought it was crazy how I had just watched your video and this happened the next day. And they're due in April just like you! Congratulations again, I'm so very excited for you and AJ💚
MLM huns: We can even work while on vacation and even while we’re getting married! Normal people with real jobs: We don’t have to work on vacation or while getting married. It’s amazing how they spin things sometimes. I feel so sorry for them !
I had the same type of fatigue when i was pregnant, too. That was 15 years ago and I haven't forgotten haha ETA You are growing a person, so give yourself the rest you need. Sounds like you're doing a good job of that 💛
I totally sympathise with the exhaustion and symptoms of early pregnancy! The first sign that I had, before I ever did a pregnancy test, was that my body would put me to bed - walk me to the bed, change into a nightshirt, get under the duvet - without any conscious input from me. I was so, SO fatigued. And as for the “morning” sickness…has a symptom ever been so incorrectly named? It was more “anytime, usually at the least convenient moment” sickness. The good news is that it passed, and I had a wonderful second trimester. I was still small enough not to be waddling too much (unlike the “duck wearing cowboy chaps” impression I was doing by the end of my pregnancy 😂) but far along enough that the early tiredness, sickness and food aversion had faded. Hang in there, lovely! Pregnancy is a wild ride and your body is doing all sorts of crazy things right now. It will all be worth it, and I get the feeling you’re going to be a fantastic mama. Best wishes from Scotland.
if you did get someone to do the emails for horror stories, they could sort them by themes or companies or they could intentionally make a mix of completely different stories and you'd still be reading them for the first time in your video i think it would be really cool!
like you could have one video where the theme is like, idk, their mom was in the company, or stories from a specific mlm, things like that at the very least, people could find specific videos EXTRA relatable if they're themed, or go the other way and make sure they're all different companies and different stories so there's more variety
I'm pretty sure I've seen non-Origami Owl floating lockets and charms at craft stores like Michael's, and online at Amazon and other shops, so if you like the concept you can probably find a non-mlm version which is good! I've always wanted one, glad I never got sucked into the mlm side. Also random, but there's a new MLM I'd love for you to do some research into called Audere. It's a haircare company started by a former Colorstreet rep; because it's so new there's VERY little info on it, so I'd love to see you dig into it!
Woohoo, Hannah plus baby! Back on the tube! So happy you are feeling up to this. I have been watching for you. I just want to say, you are one of the most genuine, kind and sweet content creators out there. We are all thrilled to see you back and to see your family start to grow!
omg oragami owl!!!! im so glad you're talking about them, i dont think ive seen anyone talk about them before. my mom and i went to one of their parties when i was a kid and i didn't understand why we shouldn't buy from them, so i was begging my mom for some jewelry, and the seller said "well what kind of mom would you be if you disappointed her?", totally manipulating my mom into buying me jewelry i never even wore because i was 8. The seller saying that made me feel so guilty, like i was forcing my mom to do something. Little did I know, she was the one who should feel bad. That's always stuck with me because even my little child brain recognized that as a shady sales tactic.
OMG! I can’t watch the full video right now (definitely will tonight though!) but I had to come and tell you how happy I am that you feel better and are coming back! And regarding your pregnancy, this is such a great news and don’t put too much pressure on yourself we will be here when you’re ready! Much much love from Canada!! ❤❤❤
Congrats Hannah! Your empathy and understanding makes me sure that you’ll be a great mom! I hope the symptoms lessen or go away so you can enjoy this time even more going forward.
I just recently discovered your channel, along with other anti-MLM channels. First off, congratulations on your pregnancy! I have a son who's now 23 and I can tell you that every mom is going to have different experiences with being pregnant. I felt slightly nauseous my first trimester but never threw up. Other moms have. Go at the pace you're comfortable with; your audience will understand. I am watching the portion of the video where you're talking about the Mary Kay wedding and it reminded me of Sally Field's description of her daughter's wedding colors in Steel Magnolias: "Her colors are pink and pink." (The daughter described her colors as "blush and bashful", two different shades of pink.) The pink had nothing to do with Mary Kay in the movie!
Congratulations! Both of my pregnancies were really hard on my small body. I used to be amazed at women who seemed to breeze right through their own pregnancies. But like you said, the end result is so worth it! None of this suffering will matter anymore once that little one is in your arms!!!
Welcome back! I spent nearly two years straight pregnant. I was very grateful, but very miserable almost the entire time. I have narcolepsy, and meds had to stop, so I slept so, so much. I am so happy for you, and cannot wait for you to experience being a mother. The Origami Owl really was even grosser than you might think. Origami Owl (now a part of Think Goodness) has a specific program geared toward 11-17 year olds. It is called the Young Entrepreneur Program or something. Since the founder started selling the lockets when she was young, I guess they decided it was the perfect target. 🤬
23:23 THANK YOU! Not all women want to be a mom, and that should be perfectly ok. I hate how society, especially cis men, still think that women are made for the sole purpose of being a mom. This year has been the worst for women and don't get me started on that. Anyway, glad you are back!
Glad you’re back!!! Hope you’re feeling better! As for the “relocated by MK” I wonder if it was more so her relocating herself trying to find somewhere not as saturated?
That was the thing that I hated the most about every MLM I tried. I tried a few. I quit all of them about 2 years ago. I almost bought new product from one of them until I found your videos. I'm not even going to buy any of it anymore.
I’m so happy to see you!! I’ve missed your respectful reasonable and wonderful videos! Congratulations 🎉🍾 your pregnancy announcement video was wonderful made me cry.
You're back, you're back, you're back! I'm so glad you're feeling a little better and so excited for you to become a mom. Thanks for including your followers in your joy! ❤️
Welcome back!! Sympathy on the first trimester, it's SO bad. I ended up getting so wiped I ended up giving up the gym and taking three-hour naps basically every day. The second trimester gets better, I promise!
Hi Hannah. I have definitely missed you and your content, and its good to see you back. Congratulations on the pregnancy, and I hope the rest of it is easier than the start was. Your content is fantastic with the perfect blend of professionalism, humour and empathy. It may have been a while, but your videos are always worth the wait.
My mum was an Avon lady, so it most definitely normalised being in an MLM for me. I was an Avon lady for a while, and my own best customer. I made zero dollars but fortunately didn't lose much money either, because I didn't have a credit card
I’m am loving these videos. As a former MLM representative all these stories really hit home. They do train you to believe everyone is a customer or downline.
So glad your back. I feel the preggo symptoms as well. I'm currently 32 weeks and STRUGGLING to keep up with my 2 online classes. Hope you have a good pregnancy. Wishing your family all the best.
I am so glad to come across this channel! I finished college right as the economy crashed in the Great Recession. Everyone was laid off, no one was hiring, and my student loans weren't paying themselves. A friend was my recruiter, and she was smart and I'd always admired her in college. I only stuck with it for 6 months. But I am not shocked that 2020 was a huge hunting season for MLMs and as we are looking at another recession, I can only imagine it getting worse. Recessions and economic downturns turn MLMs into even more vicious predators. Truly preying on the scared and vulnerable. Congratulations on your pregnancy! I hope it gets better and wish you all the health and wellbeing for the rest of it and a happy delivery.
Hang in there, Mama! Hopefully the 2nd trimester will treat you much better! I remember how extremely tired I felt but luckily getting into the 2nd trimester helped so much💕💕❤️
So excited you're back! But I think everyone here agrees we can handle whatever schedule works for you during this important time in your life, pregnancy doesn't allow for a "normal" work schedule
Hannah Im so glad you’re back! The past few months I was wondering why I hadnt seen your videos in my feed. Id go to your channel to check and then finally saw your previous video. Congrats on your pregnancy! 🥳 Your symptoms sound really tough, pregnancy is no joke - your a warrior! Take all the time you need.
Congratulations cutie! :) I’m a very proud engineer from an important University. Also, I love my workplace (the mission, what we do and my coworkers)… STILL I’d never make a celebration with this as a theme.
As someone who would love to be a stay at home mum: joining an MLM would be the worst thing to do to achieve that haha. I am currently getting a university education as a translator, as I know that is a job that can be done from home. That actually pays :)
In story 2: I completely agree about how they will say a lot, without actually saying anything. A former colleague of mine joined an mlm a few years ago and his socials became flooded with rhetoric about breaking out of the confines of capitalist society, being free of the 9 to 5 etc. He even sent me dm’s trying to recruit me at the time, but to this day I do not know what company he had gotten tangled up in. Rather than trying to sell a product, it was more like he was trying to sell a lifestyle.
I’m so glad you’re back. I missed you! I love your MLM Horror Stories. My first pregnancy was exactly the same. I was totally exhausted and sick to my stomach 24/7. But the joy of giving birth to my son was indescribable.
My best friend had the same experience during her pregnancy. It can truly take everything out of you. Take it easy as much as possible, take care of yourself, and if the only thing that sounds good to eat is ice cream or the only thing you want to do is sleep, do it! I hope things continue to improve for these next few months
I'm so happy for you and so glad you're back and as someone that had a hard, high risk, pregnancy I can fully relate to the overwhelming feeling and whiplash effect of both joy at being pregnant and how miserable you feel when you have ALL the difficult symptoms. You *will* get through it and the great thing is that the "light" at the end of the tunnel is being a mother and having your child in your arms. If I could, I'd do it again, hardship and all. My son us my greatest blessing, he changed me in so many positive ways. Take your time, listen to your body and congratulations to you, your husband and your family again!
Oh sweet mama... as a mom of 2, pregnancy is the.... second worst part of being a new mom... you're doing AMAZING and you know what's best for you and your peanut💗
I started taking care of my skin with the Mary Kay Velocity line when I was in high school, and I truly loved it. Our neighbor recruited my mom to sign up to get our products “for a discount”, and though if I had known what I know now I never would have used it, that line really did work for my skin and my mom’s Mary Kay obsession kickstarted my interest in beauty and skin care. I have since branched out into more reputable brands, but I did recently look to see if that line of skin care was still available 😅
I knew it!!!! Don't ask me how but when you stepped away I knew you were expecting a baby and I'm SO happy and excited for you, your hubby and both of your families!!! Not every pregnancy will give you all the tough symptoms, but for those of us that get hit with the those symptoms it can be really tough! But you are almost through that stage and in the end the reward of holding your new baby will all be worth it. Wishing you and your hubby the very best with your new little one!!!
I'm delighted to hear your great news. I must be the luckiest woman alive. I have a career I love. Finding out I was pregnant was thrilling but I worried about sickness etc. I had the healthiest pregnancy ever. No sickness at all. I had a craving for cocktail pickles & Ice cream. I worked through until 3 days past due date. Phoned the office, next morning, to say I was having baby. I returned to work quickly, with a fully trained nanny at home. Baby flourished & I had plenty of time with her. I really hope you feel better soon and enjoy your pregnancy. Your MLM videos are amazing and a great message to others.
Aww feel better Hannah!! My sister went through the same thing and had an amazingly healthy and happy baby. So glad you’re able to take time to care for yourself!
I’m so happy you’re back! Congratulations! And so glad that you have true “time freedom” that lets you work in the pockets of your pregnancy. For real! Take all the time you need.
Your absolutely correct about viewing others as potential customers etc. I sold thirty one gifts a few years back. After the "launch party" I stopped advertising. I felt like a complete lunatic almost begging my friends and family to buy at my party. I used the free perks and subsequently quit there after. NOT FOR ME!! Congratulations on the pregnancy!
Congrats on the baby! My mom said her symptoms were terrible with me but negligible with my sibling. I'm happy you took all the time you needed to feel better and I wish you all the love and joy.
Congratulations on your pregnancy. Sending you so much love, I remember the sickness and fatigue and everything. Hope you feel better soon. So happy your back. 💗
Girl I had a miserable pregnancy, too. I felt like I had a cold + flu + nausea + fatigue especially in the first and third trimesters. I'd go through it all again if I could give my daughter a sibling, but unfortunately my endometriosis has heightened to a point where I don't even have periods, anymore. Like my cervix is glued shut or something. It's devastating that I can't even try, anymore. I'm so happy for you, though. I hope your symptoms ease quickly and you stay healthy and happy.
I’m so glad you’re back, Hannah! And even more glad that you’re feeling better! It’s been 13 years, but nothing could erase my memories of that first-trimester exhaustion. I was sick as hell, too; to the point of needing to go to the hospital several times. I’m so glad that it doesn’t sound like you’re _that_ ill and that you’re getting better. And honestly, I can say from experience that even if you’re sick the whole pregnancy, it’s worth it. So if you need to take some time again, do so. We’ll be here waiting for you to get better.
Hannah, I also only ever wanted to be a mom and was so suprised at how hard it can be on our bodies and minds. You are just glowing, I am absolutely thrilled for you and your growing family. You are in for such a wonderful time! And it's just going to get better from here, sending you so much love and good energy xoxoxoxo
Omg. We're preggie together!!! Congratulations my love!! My first trimester was THE WORST SICK IVE EVER BEEN. I lost SO MUCH weight. I was NOT expecting to be hit by the freight train the way I was either. But 3rd trimester starts tomorrow for me and I'll tell you there is a brighter future ahead. I'm so happy for you!
Bless your heart ❤️ I was so tired and threw up every single day with my 3rd pregnancy and took a long time to feel better. BUT sooooo worth it. I am so happy for you and the only bit of advice I have is take extra good care of your teeth. With my throwing up so much I really damaged my teeth and ended up years later having to have root canals ECT. That's the only unsolicited parenting advice I give. So happy for you ☺️☺️☺️☺️
Catching up with a bunch of your videos now that I have some time at work to listen. I can’t even explain the little pump of joy I got hearing “I’m pregnant”. I am SO happy for you!!
For me, the first trimester was miserable, second was ecstasy, and third was miserable again, both times I was pregnant. LOL! Everyone has a different experience and I am SO happy for you! You are going to be a GREAT mom and I'm just thrilled that you're letting us in on your journey. You constantly remind me how wonderful it was to be literally creating human life and all the excitement, happiness, gratefulness, AND fear. It can be a roller coaster but for someone who wants to be on it, it is a JOY. We love ya, Hannah!
Girl, I feel you on the symptoms! People don’t realize how hard pregnancy is, especially the first trimester! It’s all so worth it when you see that sweet face though. 🥰 congrats ❤️
I can also confirm I have seen knockoff Origami Owl floating charm lockets on Amazon and in craft stores, so you can still create one without supporting an MLM! Which I love because Origami Owl is another one of those MLMs where I actually like the product. (Only reason I never bought from them was because at the time they were popular here, I had just graduated from grad school and they were too expensive for me.) And just like that other knockoff MLM jewelry you found on Amazon, it's a lot cheaper there, too!
Congratulations !😊I’m so happy for you both. I was sick my entire 🤰🏻pregnancy, continually throwing up from 4 weeks until 3 months postpartum. It can be difficult when others around you are enjoying their pregnancies and you just feel hungover and car sick 🤢 the entire time. My daughter is now 23 and it is still burned into my brain!
Girl! I feel you! Congratulations 🎉 I’m coming to the end of my pregnancy (32 weeks) and that first trimester was insane. Sleep as much as you want/can because the fatigue is very real and you deserve to rest ❤
I watch your videos as they pop up on a non-linear basis, so I didn’t notice you left, but then you posted this I subscribed. Happy for you and your family ❤️
I don't know if they still do, but Michaels used to sell a dupe of those Origami Owl lockets! They were super popular about 5 years ago, we couldn't keep them on the shelves.
Omg I remember the velocity line from MK that was my first intro to skin care too 🤦🏾♀️ My mom still uses MK till this day, became a rep to get her product at discount. She acknowledged MK as a MLM but refused to give up her product!
Congrats on your pregnancy! I feel for you with all the “ickies” that can happen. I hope you get past that soon so you can enjoy it. I’m a mom of 4 and grandma of 3 (having been there for the birth of grand #1- got to cut the cord too). You seem like you will be an amazing mom! Enjoy the journey! ❤
Congrats on your pregnancy! I recently discovered your channel and would listen to your MLM horror stories while taking my daily walk with my new baby in the stroller while I was on maternity leave.
So glad to have you back Hannah and congratulations on your pregnancy!! I know you're going to be an awesome mother! Start raising the generation that knows MLMs are crap
Had to like the video as soon as I saw Zeke 🥰 I already know the video is going to be great as usual but you always pay the cat tax and I appreciate both of you. Congratulations on your pregnancy I'm so excited for you!!!
That origami owl story was disgusting. Particularly vile since she was marketing a very tragic situation for her business, and but also because she somehow convinced the band Director to allow his students are to have their time wasted sitting through an MLM pitch. I am a band mom this is the eighth year I have had a child in marching band. In my state marching band is about as competitive as any Thing could possibly be. Four weeks of band camp in the summer directly followed by a very very grueling practice schedule for the entire season. I cannot imagine our Director allowing one precious second of practice being wasted this way. But further, some of these teenagers are too young To even have money to buy things with. It is as smarmy is doing the same thing with elementary school kids.
Congrats!!!!!! I totally understand. My first kicked me out of life for almost two months. My second was a breeze and I felt amazing. You've got this and I'm so excited for you and your husband!
fellow pregnant mom, I sympathize, it’s definitely derailing! Your body is preoccupied. It’s worth it. missed you! welcome back! And feel very very free to skip during fourth trimester too… enjoy that squish!
Girl!! I just went through a month of stress trying to find a one bedroom apt that I could afford. It was insane. Not cheap at all now! Happily I found my dream apt when they ran a special!!
Hannah!!! I'm so excited to hear that youre pregnant!! I wish you the best with the remaining trimesters and I hope you start to feel better soon, good luck!

So excited to have you back!
I also wear Versace Bright Crystal! So good
I wish we could get this in the UK 🥺
I am wearing that exact same hoodie as I watch this. You have great taste!
Man I just said the same thing. They don’t even pay people enough to do that
Or hide that she couldn't afford to live anywhere else, fake it till you make it is their mantra after all.
It has some cultish aspects, too. Awful.
You’re not wrong. Abusive dynamics really can form in ANY kind of relationship; romantic, professional, familial, work-based, platonic, religious. Abusers all are the same deep down, and use the same psychological tricks to lower people’s guards.
💯💯💯💯💯💯
isolation is also the number one tool of an abuser. so i totally agree with this analogy.
What a beautiful comment, Cyndi!! Thank you for pointing this out. 🤗
Done.
@@Mama_Bear524 I've heard that from friends. It's ridiculous.
I love that idea!
And Etsy has many sellers with stainless steel lockets and charms!
I bought of ton of those charms from Michael's on clearance a couple of years ago.
Ntm at those prices i’d expect sterling silver, not silver plated brass.
I NEED a deep dive into origami owl. I thought I was anti-MLM literate- and had no idea the weird necklace that my aunt got me in 2008 was this problematic :/ I am obsessed, and now I need you to talk more about it!
I wanted one of those weird necklaces years ago and have forgotten about them! I had no idea that was a MLM company!
Dear God how awkward
😲😱🤯 ❗❗❗❗❗
💩
Omg the mental picture 😂
Yikes I hope she wasn't invited to the wedding after that 😬
Adding my voice to those welcoming you back and congratulating you on your pregnancy.
Mine too. Almost 18. And I haven’t forgotten the hell 😂
You’re back 🥳🥳🥳🥳
You said it perfectly ❤
Congratulations on your grandbaby to be!
@@maryeckel9682 thank you!😊
MLM huns: We can even work while on vacation and even while we’re getting married!
Normal people with real jobs: We don’t have to work on vacation or while getting married.
It’s amazing how they spin things sometimes. I feel so sorry for them !
Awe 🩷 this is really cute watching you say you're pregnant 10 months later after you've had your baby 🥺🥰
I had the same type of fatigue when i was pregnant, too. That was 15 years ago and I haven't forgotten haha
ETA You are growing a person, so give yourself the rest you need.
Welcome back Hannah!!! Hope you're feeling well! Congrats again on your pregnancy. 🦊
if you did get someone to do the emails for horror stories, they could sort them by themes or companies or they could intentionally make a mix of completely different stories and you'd still be reading them for the first time in your video
i think it would be really cool!
like you could have one video where the theme is like, idk, their mom was in the company, or stories from a specific mlm, things like that
at the very least, people could find specific videos EXTRA relatable if they're themed, or go the other way and make sure they're all different companies and different stories so there's more variety
So glad you are feeling more normal! Pregnancy sick is a whole other level of sick. Yay for my favorite type of your videos!
Erika
I'm pretty sure I've seen non-Origami Owl floating lockets and charms at craft stores like Michael's, and online at Amazon and other shops, so if you like the concept you can probably find a non-mlm version which is good! I've always wanted one, glad I never got sucked into the mlm side. Also random, but there's a new MLM I'd love for you to do some research into called Audere. It's a haircare company started by a former Colorstreet rep; because it's so new there's VERY little info on it, so I'd love to see you dig into it!
Pandora has lockets like this, I have a few

I just discovered today that Oragami Owl sells skin care and makeup now. lol. I guess they ran out of people of sell tacky necklaces to.
I very much second this! Much Canadian love!
Aaaayyyee! Welcome back! Perfect way to start my Monday!!
Our fearless leader has RETURNED!! We missed zeke too!
Congrats Hannah! Your empathy and understanding makes me sure that you’ll be a great mom!
I hope the symptoms lessen or go away so you can enjoy this time even more going forward.
Yessssss Hannah's back! Congrats on your baby, hope the rest of your pregnancy is easier than the 1st trimester!
Welcome back, Hannah! Glad to see you and you hubby and kitties doing well. Congrats on the bundle of joy coming your way 🤎
23:23 THANK YOU!
MLMs are a HUGE problem within the Mormon community.
Welcome back Hannah! Glad you're feeling better and congrats again on the baby! You're going to be mom! Yaaaaaay! 😁🎉
You are such a breath of fresh air from all the turmoil craziness in the world!
I have heard of other MLM uplines bullying people into moving to be closer together ans framing it as a work relocation
Welcome back, Hannah! Loving the shirt you’re wearing and congrats on your pregnancy. Enjoy it, time goes by so fast!
We’re so happy for you!! Please take all the time you need to take care of yourself. Your health and wellbeing are what’s most important ❤️
Congratulations 🎉 I was so sick while pregnant with my son. It will get better. Take care of yourself. So happy for your family.
Some rep probably told her she could write off her wedding expenses 😂😂
Omg you’re probably right Lmao
Congratulations Hannah! Feel better and take all the time you need, we’ll be here!
I’m a very proud engineer from an important University.
Omg that just unlocked memories of using Velocity. It had a very distinct smell.
Welcome back!! Missed you!! Thrilled for you and AJ and praying for you both on this incredible journey. You will both be wonderful parents.
So happy for you ☺️☺️☺️☺️
Hi from Arizona. We already know plenty about all the MLMs. Plenty of saturation here already. No need to move here for that.
Many people realize it actually

Missed you Hannah. No apologies for the absence needed. Keep up the good work!
CONGRATULATIONS! wishing you the happiest & healthiest pregnancy ❣️
I don't know if they still do, but Michaels used to sell a dupe of those Origami Owl lockets! They were super popular about 5 years ago, we couldn't keep them on the shelves.
So happy to see you!! The first trimester was hard on me, too, but soon you’ll be feeling better and start NESTING!
