i really enjoy that you held your commentary until the end and were mostly quiet while watching the performance, very respectful. hope your channel continues to grow!
Agreed! Two done, 3 more to go. In reverse order: Chapter 4: "Fontaine" and "Rondeau des fleurs et des rapieres" (Done): th-cam.com/video/qZ9DaB7xRZs/w-d-xo.html Chapter 3: "Sumeru" and "Swirls of Shamshir" (Her current reaction): th-cam.com/video/VrP3lO3aGDg/w-d-xo.html Chapter 2: "Inazuma" and "Overloard of the Thunderstorm": th-cam.com/video/e4bptIoZFDE/w-d-xo.html Chapter 1: "Liyue"*: th-cam.com/video/8svl0sQXDLI/w-d-xo.html Prelude: "Mondstadt"*: th-cam.com/video/UIam8zl4af8/w-d-xo.html * The last two are part of a longer concerts she may want to do separately or include portions. Man its such a colorful collection of instruments, sitar oud tabla tampur darbuka saz and so on, its like mid east india turkey altogether so yea it does sound like Aladdin or shehrazad in the first one i think they wanted to get us nostalgic a bit, they do references alot in their games and probably want every region to match expectations and Aladdin is truly what everyone was thinking about specially with collei manga appearance that was reminding me of magi's Aladdin, wide light pants and all that 😂 , but there are some tracks that get more creative
with the release of Sumeru introducing new elemental reactions into the gameplay onwards, stumbling upon your video here is considered a fated encounter to me :)
Sumeru music is very close to my heart. It is fun that you wanted to dance to this as it what plays every time we do battle and that in a video game is also like dancing. I love this, but my very favorite is Port Ormos themes, but day and night. Even if you don't want to react to those, give yourself a treat of hearing them. :)
Amazing, we're going deeper down the genshin rabbit hole! I've heard all the genshin music countless times, but hearing it together with you, someone who can appreciate the beauty of this music, made me feel like I'm hearing it for the very first time. Truly magical, thank you for this, my evening just got so much better.
Thank you for the subtitles. It was really helpful!❤ But yeah these live performances are great and I really appreciate it as a fan of the game (I wish more games would make videos like this). Fun fact, these live performance videos that you’ve watched so far were both released before the game updates that added the areas with these musical themes. So these live performances were sort of teasers for the big game updates as well!! Which speaking of, if we’re lucky we should be getting a new one of these videos with a whole new theme before the next big game update in late August! So there should hopefully be a brand new one of these on the horizon during the next couple of months.
This was such a cool performance and a really nice reaction! I liked how you were picking out the different parts as they were playing. The ethnic instruments with the orchestra was absolutely beautiful, I completely agree! Keep up the great work Michelle!
I like your presentation throughout the video; 10s of intro and straight to the performance, minimalist commentary during the performance, and overall thought after the performance. Felt like we're watching the performance together. Make me missed my friend back at home, he likes to watch movies silently, but having alot of discuss when we get out of theatre.
It may be difficult to hear me in some parts, so please turn on CC for subtitles!
THANK YOU SO MUCH i have some hearing problems and i need subtitles but most videos don’t have them
i really enjoy that you held your commentary until the end and were mostly quiet while watching the performance, very respectful. hope your channel continues to grow!
Ig it's common courtesy within the classical music sphere. Marcomeatball does the same, and so does GIDI
@@ikec-pw5sb Who's GIDI?
Port Olmos will blow everyone's minds
The Opening give my chills everytime i hear it.
Same
Same
I love 'swirls of shamshir', the battle music gives my everytime an extra bust in battle.
Hey shamshir means sword in Persian!
Perfect name for this track.
Sumeru OST is so good. Yu Peng Chen really did his best with his last ost in Genshin.
Sumeru's and Dragonspine's OST are by far my favorites. (but honestly, everything is so freaking good !)
hi Michelle, I think you will get intrested in genshin impact 5.0 Natlan Symphony performance
I think so too
4:31 it's not two sitars, one is a sitar the other is a tanpura
Thanks for pointing that out! I will look up the tanpura.
I dont listen to classical stuff like this, but the sumeru ost is the best piece of music i have ever heard
You should watch the inazuma one next! That one’s my favourite out of all the regions 😊

Wait until you hear the Port Ormos theme, it's probably my most played song in the past 2 years lol
I look forward to it!
The melody of the first piece was heavily reminiscent of "A thousand and one Arabian nights"
More genshin orchestra vids!!! They got like entire multihour long live performances on youtube
You have to watch the Liyue one too, it's wonderfull with all the traditional instruments

It reminds me of battle music since many video game battle themes use an off-kilter rhythm.

It's really special when a game company creates live performances as a teaser. I look forward to the new theme!
SMILE SPOTTED YOU
*BRINGS THE WHOLE ORCHESTRA*
Genshin has quite a few amazing orchestra performances, hope to see you enjoy some more of them!

Thank you for the kind words!
Main Theme & Battle Theme 🤧
I really love the Duduk sound, so unique, lingering and warm.
4:02 its ancient instrument from persia(modern day Iran) called Santur
such a beautiful performance!
Thanks! I'm still waiting for Inazuma theme ❤
Wonderful combination between Western orchestral and middle east instruments
Also Indian
That orchestra is really amazing! Great video!
thank you so much for reacting to sumeru ost.
My pleasure!
You should listen to polumnia omnia from genshin as a orchatra founder you will love it
The second sitar isn't a sitar, the one that was held vertically is called a tanpura
I hope Inazuma is next! Its Japan inspired
Hehe, it's definitely on my list of videos to do!
please watch the inazuma ones 😭😭
It's on my list!
