I own an Oberhasli, she IS the sweetest, kindest and most mentally stable goat I own (as compared to my Nubian and Nigerian Dwarfs) Lola and Echo are beautiful :)

I have some new kids that are Alpine/Nigerian dwarf crosses. I didn’t plan them but God did, so I am excited to see what they will be like as milkers. Moms and Dad are beautiful and sweet as can be, as are the kids already. It was a surprise for me because I never saw the Alpines in heat or any breeding activity, and they didn’t show any signs of being pregnant until late. In fact the daughter showed her udder, and as i was watching her like a hawk for labor indications, her mother Abigail unexpectedly raced right by her and gave birth to a gorgeous big buckling, and a week later Tabitha had triplets. I’m used to how my Nigerian dwarfs act, and these Alpines behave totally differently. I don’t know if that’s normal or just how these two are.
Your girls are sweet and remind me of my Alpines, except they are taller and have their horns.
