  • The T1 by ‪@torsoelectronics‬ is the biggest gamechanger to land on my table. I've been having tons of fun learning it and experimenting, so I decided to do my thing and make a video on it with some of my favorite features. Chapters below:
0:18 - Track and midi customizability
    2:57 - Mute cueing
    5:05 - Note quantization
    7:03 - Save LFOs
    8:40 - Many length/division options per track
    11:42 - Randomization possibilities
    17:19 - Easy rhythmic changes
    19:33 - Bonus tip
    21:10 - Couple negatives
    23:06 - Outro

Another bonus note for #4 for Elektron users! I didn't think of this until after this video, but you can also use the Velocity Mod menu in the Elektron sound setup menu to make the sound change dynamically with the velocity. Very useful and quick to set up, great to have filter frequency or decay or whatever you want tied to velocity so when you turn on the accent it makes the groove that much more dynamic!

Fascinating! I’ve seen you and Atlas and other folks doing great things with it, but this is the first time I’ve gotten a clearer sense of the magic

Great overview. I feel the same as you and can’t ever see me not having the T-1. Works great with the elektron sequencers and actually compliments them really well. With the Syntakt it’s such a great combination. I’m using the tracks on the T-1 in the same layout as the Syntakt, then keeping 13-16 free for other MIDI gear. My brain works better this way!

Cool guide man! Looks like a very nifty piece of gear with a very small footprint. Visions of a 'portable setup' are beginning to materialize...

Thank you my friend!! It is an awesome little device for sure! Definitely very small and portable, it can even be powered by USB and do midi over it if you are using a USB midi device, so it would be just one cable!
