I'm a Sumi Naga from Nagaland, but I've always considered Meiteis as the most straightforward, hard working, dedicated and sincere people of the Northeast.
The recent tragedy in Manipur has shocked me beyond belief. Professor Bimol Akoijam comes across as the Meitei Gentleman I have always envisioned and I believe he's the best ambassador and representative that the Meitei people can elect to air their position and grievances in Parliament.
Last general and LS election all my family voted for BJP candidate.. But Sir,today all my family voted for Congress solid votes from my family and my cousins for you..... May you bring a change in our society and manipur as a whole... Hoping for peace and normalcy in Manipur.
