My son in law bought one of these last summer (2022) worked fine for 1100-1200 kilometers then wouldn't start, took it to the dealer and its been there ever since 8 months ago, can't find the problem and cf moto is showing zero support, also there are 3 others there with the same issues....This is in Alberta ca.....I was looking hard and one of these last spring but will never buy this brand now
After 725kms on a 2021 Cforce 800 I parted ways with it. Everything from light failures, coolant system clamps failed on almost every hose, electric actuator failed, front cover for air breather box was manufactured with a flaw, starter issues, solenoid issues, paint flaking off the frame....I could go on and on. Stuff failing that should have not especially with 725 kms on it and my bike looked like new. I avoid mud and water like the plague. They are catching up but not quite there. One of the local automotive/recreational auction houses is full of CFMOTO's with little to no mileage and they are going cheap. Sometimes you get what you pay for.
If I had a local dealer I may have gone this route. Closest is 2 hours away. I do work on my own stuff but there's something to be said about walking into the dealer and getting my part or if it's above my expertise, anyone can an will work on my Sportsman, no one locally will touch one of these, again because without a dealer they have never seen them. I do think they are nice and a good value!
I do a lot of trail camping and was considering purchasing one but i noticed the rack capacity and towing capacity was substantially low for the size machine. My friend has a 2022 500 and loves it for trail riding but uses his 2013 sportsman 500 for work, hauling camping gear and pulling the trailer.
@RG Supreme I must of glanced over those specs because wow your not kidding. The towing capacity says it’s been increased to 1000lbs on the new cf motos which is still about 350lbs less than the competitors and the rack capacity is almost half the amount of Polaris it Can am.
I've had CForce800 for 2 years now. Worst purchase I made. I ride in a crew, and everyone has everything under the sun, Can Am, Polaris, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, etc. I'm the only one getting towed almost every ride. And yet I baby it, and the other guys go hard sometimes

My biggest fear is the rear CV boots. There is a lot of Logging operation in my area. So sometimes you have to drive over The mess left and My current ATV. I was able to weld on a bash plate to protect the rear CV boots. STICKs are a major issue. The clutch System is annoying. I found Low range wasn't low enough for Crawling on the CF MOTO. They come well equipped for sure. B how are they over time?? An YES the CV TECH clutches are not as Nice as the Yamaha or Suzuki Clutch over time. Even Polaris has a 1000 mile service on Clutches Which is annoying. Nothing is Perfect these days after all.
Alot of logging operations around me as well and Sticks are always very hard on cv boots. I like my old Polaris diesel for that very reason, no cv boots all u-joints in the axles.
here in Canada there's only about an $800ish difference between 2023 CFMoto and the equivalent new Canam 2023 500/700 models But CFMoto is also giving us a 1 year warranty and 5 year power train warranty. CanAm is inly 6 months. Im pretty torn... CFMoto are also including the winch and alloy rims but for my use I could could take em or leave em... both are very nice machines, its how well either one will hold up that matters most to me..
@Jessie S It’s a hard decision for sure. The Can Ams have a pretty good reliablity history for the most part. Cf moto, I’m not sure.. I have heard good things from most people that buy them. Another down fall to the CF moto is the resale value is not good on a used one, here in the states anyways.
Unless you get an xmr can am doesn’t have a locker and it’s actually 3 wheel drive for the most part the way visco lok works. I loved my can ams but now I’m loving these Cfmoto I have

I have over 1000 miles on mine no issues and ride with Can Ams Polaris and Kawasaki. Long live motorbikes, quads and snowmobiles !
@Moi, Maya Maha & mes Nounours I am glad you are a fan and enjoy the Powersports content. To be honest I have never heard of the cf moto x6 625. CF Moto hasn’t really been very popular in the US until recently. They do seem to make some very nice machines,
@@rockspowersports Well, when people see how they hold up seems resale would improve. I just had to go over my new Yamaha and tighten down some nuts that weren't properly torqued from the factory. These arnt Japanese built machines yet get credit for it. That isnt right either.
The cfmoto line reminds me of bikes from 2010 they seem decent just not as refined as the more expensive brands. Can-am and Polaris are just superior products in every way. But also why they come with such a heavy price tag.
I Have a 625 Touring 2022 model. 1500 kms. Great machine, very comfortable, but fuel consumption is enormous. Also have a Honda 420 and consumptin is almost half of cforce. 18lts/100 kms is ok? It is also very noisy.
22 overland 1000 here and its broken steady,in the last month, rear differential, then drive shaft, now the transmission final output or perhaps the transmission, for the money saved on initial cost ive spent on repairs should have gotten a canam
Happy with my cforce 500 so far. Could use a little more power but it’s enough to get the job done. Factory plastic skid covers are a joke. They already have the molds why not just make them thicker? I went with iron Baltic hdpe and they are awesome. The no name tires have far exceeded my expectations. They have performed very well in a variety of conditions. Suspension is good until you hit some big stuff, then the budget shocks let you know why it’s a cheaper machine. But I knew that when I bought it. It is a budget machine after all. Overall, it does nearly everything more expensive ones do at 1/3 of the cost. I got a 2 year warranty during their last promotion.
@da teatorjr Glad to hear your Cf moto has treated you well. I’m hearing more good then bad nowadays which is great. Factory skid plates on any brand machine are very thin and should be upgraded in my opinion.
I sold my two year old polaris 570 touring and bought a 2024 cfmoto cforce 400 two up touring, i savedc approx $7000 over the new model polaris same equip..........never go back!!
If they would change the clutching so it would shift out sooner in the revs, would make it more pleasing to ride. Polaris is bad enough in this respect, but CF is the worst. Otherwise a nice machine.
I have the 600 and honestly I hate the seat I'm 6.3 I wish it was straight I don't like the dip in it. For a shorter person I'm sure it would be fine The only place that's its comfortable is farther back or right up to the tank. Besides that the bike has been amazing.

You'll never find a Polaris with high miles either😅 The bike I'm sitting on my profile pic If you can believe it it's a Arctic Cat 300 With 16000 miles it goes every day around the farm and it's never been apart except for a new wet clutch. I did get a cf600 in 2021 and it now has around 1700 miles I've had no problems yet but only time will tell. The higher RPM does use up the fuel. So far that's been my only real complaint.

Do you mean down shift when your headed up hill? If your going slow you should use low range but if you have some speed going up hill the CVT should have you in the correct ratio to give you the power needed.
No I mean if you need to shift into reverse while stopped on a incline or hill you can't. And if your going down a slope and need to back out you can't. You have to fight it to shift or even get it to level ground before it will shift. Got into trouble more than once in some boxed canyons here no being unable to back out.

Regulations? Not buying that! The big 3 have had factories in the United States since the early 70's. A Japanese CEO makes 100 times more than their lowest paid employee. Whereas an American CEO makes millions to billions times more than their workers. American workers across the board are getting sold out for cheap labor. Unfortunately, by greedy fellow wealthy elitist Americans! These same individuals who want to eliminate regulations. Like antiquated air break systems on railroad cars. That led to the mess in Palistine, Ohio! To relaxing regulations on utility companies in Texas. Then, the infrastructure freezes, and Texans almost froze to death. I am betting the power company in Maui led to the devastation in that wildfire. Corporations are not citizens! They should not have a vote in politics. Or be allowed to lobby and / or place henchmen in positions of power. Like Joe Munchin, who owns a coal mine. A Donald J. Trump, who enriched himself while adding $8T to the national debt. More than any president in history, from the Republican party who calls themselves fiscally responsible. Facts matter, and so does truth! Also I am a victim of relaxed regulations. Was exposed to asbestos for 7 1/2 weeks, and I will be taking legal action. So I wouldn't cheer for relaxed regulations, especially if you work for a living.......

I’m seeing more and more over this way as well. I personally haven’t owned one yet but most of the people I talk to that own one enjoy theirs.
I have a 2023 Cforce 600 1up with about 1000 miles. Rips and I love it. No issues at all. I put Kenda Mastodon AT tires on it and iron Baltic skid plates. I love it. Never want to sell it. In fact when it’s old I’ll keep it and just buy a new one I love it so much. ❤
Just bought one and so far I'm very happy with it
Glad to hear!
@@rockspowersports and also the service intervals are only 500 miles or 250 for severe duty. That was my buddies biggest complaint with his.
What kind of issues have you experienced with your Cforce?
@@rockspowersports I posted this up top but will answer as I too had a Cforce 800 XC....After 725kms on a 2021 Cforce 800 I parted ways with it. Everything from light failures, coolant system clamps failed on almost every hose, electric actuator failed, front cover for air breather box was manufactured with a flaw, starter issues, solenoid issues, paint flaking off the frame....I could go on and on. One of the local automotive/recreational auction houses is full of CFMOTO's with little to no mileage and they are going cheap. Sometimes you get what you pay for. I will add that I had clutch lurching issues and a transmission that I had to fight with to shift - even after it was 'fixed' by the dealer.
2025 cf1000 touring with bumpers...absolutely love it..!
I loved my can ams but now I’m loving these Cfmoto I have
Buy the can-am hands down
I have the 2024 600 touring. What a great machine
Hello, can you tell me one thing. Why is temperature bar always over half and jumping around max? on cfmoto's 625 models 2022-23
Bought a 1000 blew up in less then 40 miles…..dealer fix it and I’ve had it 2 years now of hard riding and 0 issue….i may of just got a bad one from the gate
Just bought a 23 zforce 500 trail. See how it holds up. Still got my 21 Polaris Ranger 570.
Nice, hopefully it treats you well.
The channel is growing.
That it is!
I have over 1000 miles on mine no issues and ride with Can Ams Polaris and Kawasaki. The CF Moto rides more like a Polaris in comfort and hangs with all of them but in my opinion while riding 2 up I would rather climb steep hills on my CF Moto. I love my Atv and when I upgrade it will be another CF Moto
I own a 550,850xc never broke down 👍
I had a cf moto moose 500 when they first came out it burned to the ground sued them got my money back been on a honda ever since
Hello, I am very fan of you, I really love motorbikes quadbikes and snowmobiles, I have a 2009 CFMOTO X6 625 and I really love this quad because it has large racks and a large top case, it has also a manual recoil starter in case of the battery dies, it's not a very reliable machines, got some troubles, but i really love this quad for its utilitarian abilities, Hi, Greetings from Central France !
They do seem to make some very nice machines,
How do these CF Moto's hold up when you sell them? I just bought a Yamaha and resale value was one reason why.
Resale is not great on CF moto’s from what I see right now.
I don’t know man mine is pretty solid. My friend has a 2020 800 with 7000 miles on it and he’s only changed oil and tires so far
LMAO you just called Polaris a SUPERIOR product? You can say you don't like CFmoto, but don't be a liar.
Polaris is actual shit. Have you ever owned one?
I Have a 625 Touring 2022 model. 1500 kms. Great machine, very comfortable, but fuel consumption is enormous. Also have a Honda 420 and consumptin is almost half of cforce. 18lts/100 kms is ok? It is also very noisy.
Road riding- 8l/100km. Trail and off-road- 10-11l/100km. 2022 625 touring.
Suspension on the outlander 700cc is very nice. Plus when you go to sell it the can am will have better resale value
Man. nice but I'll stick with my Sportsman !
Absolutely!
I have the 600 and honestly I hate the seat I'm 6.3 I wish it was straight I don't like the dip in it. For a shorter person I'm sure it would be fine The only place that's its comfortable is farther back or right up to the tank. Besides that the bike has been amazing.
Yeah I could see it being uncomfortable for someone your height. Have you had yours for a while?
I’ve never owned one but every time i see one I ask the same question I’ve never seen one with high miles and that’s usually what I judge my 📕 😅
@Upnorth Vlogs I haven’t personally seen them either but on some of the forums I have seen a couple of the side by sides with over 10,000 miles.
There’s plenty with 2-3k miles. But most are newer machines.
@@dateatorjr9671 I’ve never saw one in my area Minnesota I’m not saying they’re bad machines never owned one just never found one with high miles everyone I see has like 200 miles on it and they want to sell it
You'll never find a Polaris with high miles either😅 The bike I'm sitting on my profile pic If you can believe it it's a Arctic Cat 300 With 16000 miles it goes every day around the farm and it's never been apart except for a new wet clutch. I did get a cf600 in 2021 and it now has around 1700 miles I've had no problems yet but only time will tell. The higher RPM does use up the fuel. So far that's been my only real complaint.
A guy posted on a Facebook forum his zforce 950 has 10,000 mile. Another guy commented he had 5,000
Have owned every brand made, they are all great when they run and all junk when they break,,and if you drive it hard they all break...that being said just bought two overland 1000 last week, no complaints and no regrets the power is insane, lifted both and upped the tires too 30's ,no clutch kit yet but still Yanks that long wheel base heavy sob nose off the ground with ease
@Keith Belz I’ve been wanting to try out one of the overland 1000’s. They look very well equipped and I bet they have plenty of power!
@@rockspowersports they sure are loaded up from the factory, and the dealership gave us two passengers seat that's 600 dollar each add on as a thank you for buying two.. maybe not the 91 HP of the canam, but 79 HP and way more from the factory extras for literally 6k less,,
My 1000 has the tune, headers, exhaust, and upper engine mount from MSC. The only thing left is the clutch. Brother, it's no joke.
@@shawndale1552 did you notice any difference in power ,,or did it run cooler after the tune,,I'm on the fence over a ECM tune ,,but I know cutting the cat out dropped the heat a bunch
@keithbelz2952 the headers from MSC and the tune made a 12 hp difference. Does definitely help with heat. It will always be hot on the legs no matter what. Definitely alot better than stock, heat wise.
I have had no issues with mine it’s a 23 600
Do you might as well call Honda and Yamaha junk too because it is Chinese stuff too the only thing America has is John Deere Ford Dodge Chevy Arctic cat Polaris what I'm trying to say don't judge
Honda ,Yamaha, Suzuki, and Kawasaki are Japanese. The Japanese are well known for building quality vehicles that last forever.
You can justify your purchase anyway you want buddy. I know for a fact that Honda and Kawasaki has plants in the United States. Kawasaki Mules are completely built in America. Unlike CFMOTO who teamed up with Mexico! Never seen a head to head comparison between CFMOTO and the big three. Which is Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha! Buy a better machine! Support fellow American workers and NATO Allies. Instead of Communist China! Maybe you can find a Russian ATV that's cheaper next time. Good grief!
@@fromontario6954japs are slant eyed little weirdos with tiny little hands and feet. They smell like escargo too.
My buddy has a 800 and it’s nice
Does this one you tested have work mode
@Platinumf250 No this one didn’t have the work mode. I believe that is only available on the side by sides.
2023 has the work mode, it makes the engine feel less aggressive
I'll keep my 2003 Honda Foreman Rubicon ty very much SMH
mine won't shift on incline what about yours ? Dealer said that's the way it is
Do you mean down shift when your headed up hill? If your going slow you should use low range but if you have some speed going up hill the CVT should have you in the correct ratio to give you the power needed.
No I mean if you need to shift into reverse while stopped on a incline or hill you can't. And if your going down a slope and need to back out you can't. You have to fight it to shift or even get it to level ground before it will shift. Got into trouble more than once in some boxed canyons here no being unable to back out.
Does it have a foot brake?
Yes these do have a foot brake as well.
Had zero problems with mine
Awesome glad to hear it! This one’s still going strong as well.
Hi guys, CF moto moto bikes are gainin ground in Europe too.
I belive we all know after 10 years how they hold up and what value they retain.
Why would you post a video in black and white?
The video isn’t black and white, I think there might be something wrong on your end.
@@rockspowersports man I just went back and checked and you are 100% correct. That's the only video that has ever done that to me 😂 the first minute was good and then it just went black and white so I scanned through the rest of the video and it was all showing black and white but everything else on my screen had color 🤦 I'm not sure what happened!
Bought the 2021 800xc touring. Worst mistake I ever made. Terrible clutch, excessive heat on right side, rough riding, leans way too much, you'll get punched in the balls when you trade it in. inDon't get fooled by the money savings. You'll be putting that savings back into it to keep it going.
I'll stick to my polaris sportsman 500.
Nothing wrong with a Sportsman 500, I’ve owned quite a few.
It’s funny because during COVID you’d hear Americans saying I’m not supporting China. Now we love em. 😂
Rock I'm sorry but I'm still taking the 2000 Rubicon over all of em.
Okay boomer
Rate your cfmoto 1-10. Reviews before man goes by one
Totally dominating the market puts polaris to shame
Cope harder with your Chinese garbage
He said junk :D CFMoto is much better than Polaris or Can-Am. Not even close. Much newer technologies.
I hate the wheels....other than that its nice.
C.f. moto is a Chinese company with German ingenuity and American know how.
Better than Polaris and gonnA be better than can am

Buy American!
Why so I can pay more for less?
Good CFMOTO , But no money no order
Junk my ass my 600 is 🔥
I want one I'm getting the vtwin 1000
CF have shit brakes, shit clutches, loose bolts, just re check all torgue, upgrade brake pads, clutch off the hop
My cf500 is better than my cheaply made Polaris 570
Personally, i cannot justify purchasing a CFMOTO. No matter how much cheaper they might be. Rather support manufacturers who have plants in the United States and hire American workers. Communist China isn't a NATO Allie either! IMHO you get a better machine sticking with the big three. Which is Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha! You justify your purchase decisions anyway you want......
Abit hard for countries where the big three have fled like pansies, because of regulations.
Don’t forget Suzuki (Built in Georgia). All research I did had The King Quad just a step behind the grizzly. I was able to get an 2022 750 $9800 OTD couldn’t touch a Grizzly at that price. I was tempted to get CForce based on price’ features, and reviews but happy I went with King
@@DougAndHisKingQaud750 Sometimes I forget about Suzuki because they don't build UTV's.
Said by the one (like all of us) who buys Chinese products every single day, where is your wrong seated patriotism there? So if your country commits wrongs its ok but if it's communist China then it's wrong? That's hypocrisy, so better let's get back to compare product quality not ideologies, I doubt the US shines in that department.
They run great for 2-3 years then the complete BIRDS NEST of electrical issues come into play, they also are made of very cheap steel.
Won’t be seeing these in 40 years like the Hondas
