  • A CAAM-Funded film tells the story of an intimate portrait of Chinese American photographer Corky Lee whose pioneering work documented the richness and complexity of the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) experience for half a century. Lee’s fascinating photographs of daily life, cultural celebrations, and social justice movements reveal a rare record of a community often overlooked by mainstream media - and demonstrate the power of photography as a tool for advocacy and social change.

Corky was a great guy, remembered everyone's name and their contribution to social change. Very open, friendly and modest. I wasn't aware of the breadth of his work until this film and the book came out. Thanks, Corky.

where the hell can I watch this? have searched everywhere!!! this looks like it will be very informative and interesting to learn about. I am really keen to see this documentary but it is unavailable on the free PBS app on their website. when I click the link that takes me directly to the webpage I am greeted with a blue screen and a message that reads ''We're sorry, but this video is not available in your region due to rights restrictions.'' like, what's the deal? why has this been restricted for me to be unable to watch? is it because there's some parts during this that might be considered as controversial? why is it being hidden? it looks interesting to discover and learn about so why am I unable to watch this? will this get an official release date to be able to view here in the UK at all anytime soon???
