Fern, my white Boxer dog, is an accredited service dog under the 1992 DD act. She holds special access rights to be allowed to enter places most dogs cannot. This includes National Parks such as Chiltern Mt Piolet NP where Reedy Creek is located. Unless your dog is an accredited service animal they are not allowed to enter NP.
Check your local regulations, as each state and territory is different, before you travel into or though NP with your dog. Here is the Parks Victoria website for those of you wishing to read up on Victoria's laws 👉 www.parks.vic....
Thank you Chris, well done.
Keep pressing forward mate, you'll get back in due time.
I Want to thank Mick and Gadzee (the ones seen, and Mike and others trying not to leave anyone out) and( mine Boss Fern) along with the rest of the team (unseen) that help create the show, I love you ALL!
It is the moment of Tooth, let's do this, im with all 4 of you in the prospecting world... ( you know... Dan, Pauley, Klesh and yourself and others that keep the prospecting world going).
Love the videos mate, living my life through your boots... or wishing I could be in them. No gold near me, maybe soon... as I plan to move.
Looking to the future for more videos, cant wait!
Cheers mate from eastern 🇺🇸
That quote about "if it looks stupid but it works" is really something that I live by.
With everything going on KEEP moving forward , no matter what .thank you for sharing your wisdom and love , and life isn't always peaches and cream but it is what you you make it and brother you are doing it.
Was gloomy all day. Thanks for the smile and the adventure 😊
I'd love to see you strike it crazy rich! You deserve it in my opinion
You had water, and your hibanker was awesome, probably one of the best I've seen. It's small but it really worked good. Love watching, Benny
Thanks .. for what you ask its become you share your life with us.
That is it always good to look around and see what you got and think what can I do with this pile.
Welcome to what we go through in western Washington state, plus the magnetic material, pyrite, and mica. fun, fun ,fun. lol
oh man I'm from Seattle going to do this for the first time up in the mountains by Index and you're scaring me lol
Ive always liked the keene hoppers and spray bars.
I love cleanup in the garage... With a few beers
Hi Chris. For reedy creek I use a home made 8 inch high banker. I am running straight fine rib mat in it, about 3 feet long, as this reduces the amount of black sand I am left to deal with in my concentrates. I pan them out later. Good to see the water level is dropping too.
nice gold good first run..thank you for sharing the adventure and clean up.
Not bad for a spot that's been hammered ..I like the set up its nice and new .. ..definitely can't wait to see you use it on a rich spot !
When you mentioned clay I thought about the GoldHog highbanker with it's gate and wash method to hold the big clumps and pound them with water. I would guess the gold would setting into the upper most layers of that clay. Changing to that method of spraybar might let you get into the clay more and slightly increase the recovery? How did the tailings look? Extend the sluice with a flair into a wider sluice with some of that corkscrew mat for fine recovery?
that's quite a monster high banker. looks like a perfect spot for it, its exactly the right tool for the job so far. that water looks fun for the summer.. nice scorpion, healthy pan. You're right about the hours of clean up with mats, ect. That's why I like the GEO sluice California Mini Highbanker (no clean up mat or moss), but can't use it everywhere! Well done guys, thanks for the video!
a little tip about scorpions is to look at their pincers. the bigger the pincers the less deadly they are. you know if they have little thin pincers they are more venomous.
very cool tip. Thank you.
hey man I've started watching your videos quite some time ago and they are becoming better and better! from alluvial to hard rock mining - I really wish that I had the chance to do gold prospecting but no luck in my country (laws) and living in a huge city with no car
Great day! Of course your snuffer bottle is a highbanker part....your phone is also a camera!
Might seem crazy, but I've stopped using carpet in the hopper and -- minus a 6" piece of moss in the crash pad -- let the mats do their work. Not seeing any losses in the taiiings. And that's coming from super fine Indiana/US glacial gold deposits.
Nice day at the creek. Good high banker.
That's a big boy banker! Noice!
Awsome effort. I wouldn't want to be to doing too much to that highbanker.. just remember that was from a flogged out bit of ready creek so essentially it was getting what most others couldnt
Your the best bro I’ve watched your vids for a couple years now
Love watching Chris, he reminds me of a western Canadian farmer with how he Gerry rigs his equipment. Must have been a person from Saskatchewan in a former life
Great watch with my morning coffee. Thanks for sharing
You can separate the gold further tin by smelting. That might be faster.
Awesome high banker bro, great gold as well! Good luck to you and Mick!
Thanks for another great video Chris
Your new high banker looks a lot like my Proline. All but the color of the hopper. Hell of a machine
Fern is turning out so great. You definitely struck gold with her.
love the riffles in that highbanker those riffles are the best i promise deffinetley with miners moss
Whoa nice! I hope you take that monster sluice back to the Mustard Pit, could chew through quite a bit of dirt!
I made my own separate table. it has unpolished carbon fiber set at .009 on high side with a row of gardening misters for water flow .it does a good job so far with only about 1 percent of loss over the edge
There is a miller table out there that a gold vial attaches to to sweep your gold to...
Nice machine ,it's super fun to run bulk sometimes my brother has a gold hog raptor flare ,and that thing eats gravel too,it will where a guy out quick, nice pan smile
Great cleanup! 👋🏻😎 Going to check a culvert today
Hey Chris just got back last Wednesday from a week of high banking at sailors Creek Daylesford mosquitoes we're unbelievable, you're not going to believe it but l too have symptoms of rrv. Going to the doctor tomorrow for a blood test. It SUCKS
That's a pretty good haul. Hope you're recovering well
But you can handle it, it is good practice getting to dig, now if you were to put a jet tube between the pump and header box you could run a few yards per hour.
You are such a pleasant dude!
Impressive system!nice recovery Chris!
Nice job!
Call that sluice a DWC. (Deluxe washing contraption) 🤣🤣
Omg, yessss
Nice haul!
The uwharrie River is the same, loaded with hematite id say 90% of my cons i get out of that river is black sands and -50 or smaller gold.
love the snake behind ya at 0:22 hehe
Nice peice of Washington st manufactured equipment. The beach sands on the coast are non mag black sand with lots of gold.
Can you just set up a high banker on the beach and run it all day? Do you need a permit or anything?
@@jeffcrowley4842 that's what people do. Mostly run for cons and take them home to process there's vids on tube bout it.
I love Fern so much 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thanks for the vids mate. Love ur work.
Propper machine 10/10 :) Back softener and an arm stiffer!
WOW! great recovery of the small stuff. I only wish I was allowed to use that in Michigan, we are restricted to pans and small sluice boxes. The gold you got is similar in size to what I've been able to find.
Fellow Michigan prospector here and I agree our flour Gold is tiny and flat. As for what's legal I just fly a Pirate flag and do whatever I want! Good hunting to you!
Way to go on the temporary modifications...alot of hard work out there for sure.
👍💥Beer fundage!
"... on a scale of one to ten, how tired are you?"....nine and a half LMFAO
On a scale of 1-10, how tired is Mick?
*Holds up 9 and 1/2 fingers*
Better than a 10, I guess. Keep pushing!
What kind of dog is Fern.....? Love that mutley... 👍😎
If I'm not mistaken fern is a boxer
I was at your huge hole last week......I spoke to a few locals who say that the effort that you put in in to get one gram of gold is commendable.......lol
What we show on film is not where the good gold is 🤷♂️
@@VoGusProspecting This has been the only spot on the creek that Ive panned and got absolutely nothing per pan, most places on the creek you get a fine line of fine gold and tin per pan.
Glad to see you're using some new recovery systems not the rebuilt scrapyard stuff
And it looks like you need 2 shovels at a time instead of just one you might be able to do twice as much material
Can you magnetise the cons? We love Ferns new green toy.
Good day right there 👌👊
Seeing is your gold is so small and in danger of floating away - have you considered froth flotation to seperate the gold from the cassiterite?
It ain't stupid if it works. Words to live by 😎
Here in Switzerland and probably also Germany/Austria? we know the Word "Providurium", which is the two Words "Provisorium" (temporary measure) and "Dauerhaft" (permanetntly) mashed together into one Word. It describes both temporary installations and repairs that never get replaced because they just work and most often do that even better than the Original. A good and well known "Providurium" is the Eifeltower in Paris: Buildt only temporarely for one single Worldexpo it still stands. Or a Machinerepair with a Shoelace because there were no Parts available at the Time, and when the Machine gets thrown to the Trash12Years later, that temporary Shoelace repair is still in use...
Greetings from Switzerland.
With the new hibanker could you reduce the water flow to rinse the mesh off,or does the dis assembly process make that not possible, just thinking of a better way for wash down.
Where can I send some money to donate to Fern so they can purchase even more squeaky toys to nom on during the videos? 🤣🤣
Bush-Fix Master 😉
Use slots from a angle grinder with a cutting blade on it, to make the spray bar holes make / / / / Rather than • • • • • Holes block up with weed and crap after a few hrs. The slots don't block up at all.
👍 Cool!
What size pump you using thanks
Put dream mat in the high banker you won’t regret it
Nah
Always curious on how you work out your flow rate as it looks bloody fast - but then again I wouldn't know!
Man way to nice gear. Who are you and when did this occur. That looks awesome for fun though man.
Omg a new pump
When you have all that black sand can’t you just smelt the material? Then run a specific gravity test to find out the density of the final piece of metal? Not sure that would be very salable. But could you do it?
Are you aloud to use a Motorized high banker in Victoria cant up here in Queensland its slack
Have you tried a shaker table for your tailings
No i have not.
Nice high banker brother! Getting ready to make my own for $66 plus pump
Excelente trabajo guerrero saludos desde colombia GOGOOGOG
Have you ever considered a collab with Ewasteben ? He's in Melbourne. Would be interesting!
I’m in NSW and wish I was able to use a high banker illegal here to use which S#X.
What size high banker is it and what pump is it call and size please . Also how long did you work to get those grams of gold
would chemical clean up be better in that situation where you can't separate it easy ?
I just think it's cool how it took you years to get to 100k subs and in just a few months you've surpassed 150k
Weird. Where we get our gold in Victoria the grey has nothing n it sits just in the oxide layer only
Thats ehat I said. Nothing in the grey, all in the tan.
Booyah!
always have a roll of gorilla tape for them fix-in-field repairs!
Love Ferns
Nice results there Chris for a shakedown run of your new highbanker. Very impressive in regards to the capture of supper fine gold. Is the hopper metal or plastic?
Plastic mate.
@@VoGusProspecting thought so as it seemed nice and quiet while you were using it. Hopefully it is lighter than a steel one even though it is probably thicker. Thank you for sharing your adventures Chris
I keep forgetting that you have to deal with all the elements and not just gold 😬🦂 how do you even get to sleep on a night with all that lot crawling around. 😂👍🏻⚒🏴
A gram for river gravels is nice. Almost pays for the fuel you burned in the pump. Worth it to see the shinny smiling back at ya! Gold fever relief…
This pump holds 4lt of fuel and we burnt only 1/2 a tank. So it cost us $4.
Fair enough. Just giving you a hard time. 🤠 I’d love to pull a gram for a days work. The best I’ve done here in Arizona is a 1/2 gram so i am impressed. Thanks for sharing and your vids are very well edited and composed.
You must be aware of the cyanide process for Ag and Au recoveries.
When your gold source is producing ultra-tiny flakes -- you can assume that even more gold is in the brew -- yet so tiny that it fades to BLACK.
Yes, hyper-fine gold looks black. It also responds to cyanide solution.
Sure. But I don't so chemicals
That's a nice hi banker.mines home made...lol.trade ya...straight up.lol
Do you ever find any stone arrowheads when you are working in gravel like this?
Gday, no arrow heads in Australia. You might find stone knives or scraping tools, but that would be rare. Nick
I forgot that I have made two miller tables… but that one is sexy!
You can always make it a Gem hunt, how do you sell them?
Please can you put more of the table clean vids on I think it's grate content to see 👌✌👽💚
I'd say those androids don't have shit on you a super Saiyan effort lol and glad to see it straight grinding I know how it was buying a decent high banker exciting stuff I'm just as excited for you as you are for your self let's goooo
Have you used the gold cube?
I have not
What about the Gold gobbler as a name for the high banker
feeling better? your energy level seems to be up some.
Nah man. Old video
Have you looked at your black sands under a microscope? To see if you have values left to recover.
Yes! There are but it's not worth the effort. We did it once and recovered a 0.10 from a bucket. So 🤷♂️
