Until the year 1970 in the country of Oman ❤️there was a Sultan called Said Bin Taimur.
This Sultan suffered an assassination attempt that made him change his behavior drastically. He became so paranoid of everyone that he made the craziest rules for the country.
Some of these rules were that it was forbidden to smoke in public, forbidden to play football, forbidden to wear sunglasses, and even forbidden to speak to anyone for more than 15 minutes!
But Oman 🇴🇲 is not that place anymore, the country has grown and changed quite a bit since that time, and there are plenty of very unique things about Oman which I will show you in this video and in the one 🙌
Although the most attractive thing of Oman is by far the hospitality of it’s people, you will see that in the video that is coming next week 🌎

  • @DrSaddamkenya
    @DrSaddamkenya ปีที่แล้ว +154

Oman didn't invent Swahili . Swahili was born out of a mixture of bantu and Arabic plus some Hindi .
The omanis did occupy parts of kenya south coast to Mombasa , Zanzibar in Tanzania , comoros , Mayotte and parts of Mozambique .
Their stay there brought about Swahili
And even today many omani descendants stay in coastal kenya , Zanzibar etc
Just like the chinese interacted with Bantus in lamu and left bajuni
So I guess you should have said , Omanis had an influence in the creation of Swahili
Also some omanis learnt Swahili and went back to omani , and it was spoken over there for a while ,but over time it has disappeared

I'm from Tanzania East Africa. Here we speak Swahili language as our national language.
    Omans didn't Invent swahili.
Swahili is a language that originated from the East African coast, particularly in Tanzania, Kenya, and other neighboring countries.
It is not true that Oman invented Swahili. Swahili developed as a result of interactions between Bantu-speaking communities and Arab traders along the coast.
The language evolved as a lingua franca for trade and communication purposes.
In Tanzania, Swahili is widely spoken and is recognized as the national language.
It is the language of instruction in schools and is used in government, media, and everyday conversations. Swahili plays a crucial role in uniting the diverse ethnic groups in Tanzania and serves as a symbol of national identity.
The history of Swahili is rich and complex, with influences from Arabic, Persian, Portuguese, and other languages.
It emerged as a distinct language in the 8th century, with the rise of Swahili city-states along the coast. These city-states were important centers of trade and culture, connecting East Africa with the Indian Ocean trade routes.
Karibu Tanzania 🇹🇿 (Welcome to Tanzania) the home of Mountain Kilimanjaro the Highest free standing mountain in the world.
    BTW your contents are amazing.
