- Пианист Даниил Трифонов, ставший в 2011 году победителем конкурсов Артура Рубинштейна в Тель-Авиве и Чайковского в Москве, играет в концерте лауреатов конкурса юных пианистов имени А.Д.Артоболевской в Москве в 1999 году (1-я премия в младшей возрастной группе).

Вышел мальчик и сыграл. А у меня слёзы на глазах всякий раз, когда переслушиваю первую из пьес.. В самом деле, ну очень глубокий звук. Поцелованный Богом ребёнок, ныне - уникальный пианист.
Не видела ранее этой записи,так вот откуда вырос этот нынешний талант,да невероятно,в 8 лет,донести каждый звук,рассказать этими пальчиками так много!!!
You can tell just by watching this video that this boy was different from other kid “prodigies”. He FELT the music he was playing, he fully understood it - it had become a part of him, and not just a virtuous piece any little kid learns to show off. I can not describe in words my admiration for this wonderful pianist.

Nowadays we expect a child prodigy to come out and play the Liszt ‘Mazeppa’ Etude. But the emotional depth of young Trifonov here is much more impressive than any pianistic fireworks.

а мне интересно слушать конкурсные выступления потому, что вижу в них харизму педагога и зарождающаяся индивидуальность исполнителя. следующим шагом артиста становится либо служба педагогам либо свой путь.

I’ve listened so many other versions of this beautiful piece, Daniil’s rendition has something unique. The tempo, how the different voices are singing the theme.... It’s would be amazing to listen to this piece played by Daniil nowadays

I saw Chopin at a soirée yesterday, he said he couldn't care less (my buddy Fred ain't into children, prodigies or not).
He also said that that peasant Glinka should take composition lessons (my buddy Fred doesn't like Russians, he's had some kind of traumatic experience involving the loss of his homeland - I think anybody can relate to that).
And he added: "But not with me" (my buddy Fred is into princesses with a big checkbook).
Wow! He was so talented right from the beginning!
Зал в замирании. В восхищении. Души людей здесь поют! Игра прекрасная! Я слушал и без картинки и чувствовал, что играет тот кто отдает любовь и эта любовь проходит везде. Больше у музыки нет смысла. Поэтому техника хоть и не как у взрослого Даниила, что совершенно логично, но все же истинная техника - прекрасна!!!

This video is a piece of history. Trifonov is now considered one of the great pianists. If we had Richter or Rubinstein on a video at the age of eight, you would might have the same objections. The point is, this is fun to watch. Besides, he won the prize. Grow up everybody.

Absolutely phenomenal! We are so fortunate to hear the mature Daniil Trifonov today, as I did at Lincoln Center November 11, 2015 in rehearsal and November 13 in the evening concert .
Jenny Fricks how did you get to a rehearsal? I completely agree that we are incredibly fortunate to hear Daniil Trifonov today and look forward to hearing him for years to come. So far for me the most extraordinary performance and what stands out, beyond any words, was the performance last spring of the second Chopin piano concerto. I felt transported to an entirely other realm. Like the difference late Beethoven has to everything before or since. Nothing flashy something quiet and profound that left me gasping for having heard something so incredible that I couldn’t believe my ears, couldn’t believe that I’d experienced that night

I have seen Daniil Trifonov live and think he is one of those giants of music, through which the audience connects to the true nuances of the music. I can tell you from my own experience and looking at others in the audience that his playing hypnotizes everyone. Agree with Mr Oskarwild in every word: Daniil is the most talented pianist I have ever heard play.

it's evident in the room that people know something, the spark in the room is there. but even as great as anyone in the room could have foreseen Trifonov to be as a pianist, he is still better than any of those imaginations. Because you can not reproduce in your head what Trifonov produces with his fingers. End of argument. Noone in this room could have possibly known how great he would become no matter how great their imagination and expectatin. And no question, clearly based on the footage there is already that kind of expectation built in to his listeners.
