    Dude comes sooo close to the ground with little to no energy at 1:50 insane flying

      Any plane close to the ground has low energy (unless it is travelling at high speed).

    1500+ hours in a Hornet.
    Pilot knows his aircraft (and both of their limits).
    Got away with one early but knows how to recover.
    Well done pilot👍👍

      First, thank you for your service.
      The pilots great skill is on display. How many of the maneuvers or overall flight control are translatable into combat?
      With the high AOA and slow-speed maneuvers the pilot can perform, is thrust vectoring technology on other planes a huge advantage over this plane/pilot capability?
      Thanks for your insights. Have a great day.

      @@vanguard9067 Slow speed high AOA is great for air shows and a crowd pleaser but in a combat scenario that usually means you have flown through two or three weapons envelopes and are now either in a last ditch maneuver or going for a gun kill -both of which will leave you vulnerable to your opponent’s wingman, AAA or SAMs.
      A pilot must still know how to handle his machine in that environment, and it can be fun in peace time “fighting” with an opponent that you can later “shot down your watch” and share beer and lies (one of a fighter pilot’s favorite past times - at least the geezers. Not sure the new breed enjoys that as much as we did).

    MY GOD AT 1:38 HE’S COMING OUT OF THAT FLAT SPIN AND DROPS 1500’ QUICK. HE WAS PULLING WITH EVERYTHING TO KEEP OFF THE GROUND. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL FLYING BY A VERY BRAVE PILOT. 🙏🏼

      @GuyFromSC ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@krizzle4087 It was very reminiscent of that recent F-18 crash in Spain or somewhere else like a month ago during an air show. He came out of a similar maneuver and just dropped like a fly but couldn’t safe it. Pilot ejected at low elevation and was very close to landing in the explosion of his own jet. But this pilot had had to be pulling for his life.

      @@gregpavitt309 I hope you’re not serious. If you are, there are plenty of videos on TH-cam that show the Swiss legacy F-18 performing these maneuvers that almost appear to be thrust vectoring. But obviously they’re not. If I remember correctly, the Swiss made so,e software changes that allow the plane to be flown in this manner. I’m not sure if that’s correct info or not. The US has a history of not showing the full capabilities of our aircraft in airshow demonstrations. What I can assure you is that this is not CGI.

    gotta be upgraded 404s no? For Xmas gonna ask DCS to make me a new ultra lightweight air dom only Charlie with 414s dialed up for super cruise (with the Rhino rectangular scoops to match) - F35 AESA / F-35 data link (lose gun in favor of side panel AESA for > 90% offset after first 120D lanuch) or half buy with F35 AESA - no gun = double - half smaller AESA and gun = single?) - 120Cs on tips like Viper / or F18G electronic pods - a dedicated 9x station immediately inboard - 120Ds on hips (or Meteor?) - room to hang two more on vertical next to centerline tank? Speaking of, keep that Rhino IR sensor on front tip that can track 22 at what? 15 to 20 miles? (highten back landing gear for centerline tank carry back?) Shoulder mount conformal tanks optomized for transsonic combat (titanium composit built in vs. add on should help upgrade sustained G rating to 9.0? (keep limiter at 7.5 to preserve airframe stress) Otherwise wing clean for min RCS in air dom confirguaration - or add drop tanks and 4 mo Ds? Run an Eagle Wall for redundant IR triangulation - supercruise at mach 1.3 = burner to 1.5 pre-lanuch of Ds? Full frontal aspect RAM. Block IIIs defensive suite. First shot head on SU 57? All off the shelf tech. Integration head aches but no major neW tecH risK. (Or just use Block III AESA and lose gun - all single seat buy = F the 35 integration complexity = Charlie better air to air platform than Rhino.) Too late to swiitch the Rhino Block III buy to dis F-18H Little Demon?
