I love catch up mechanics. All that elemental overflow will be nice for getting that Storm's Fury mount as well.
yup, anybody wanting all the Elemental Overflow goodies would benefit from farming The Forbidden Reach while waiting for 10.1 and S2 to begin.

I've all but ignored reps so far, only getting reputation incidentally from doing things that seem fun at the moment, so this will be great! I'm a super casual player so I appreciate it being simplified even further with the contract system as well. This looks to be an awesome patch, I'm kind of continually blown away with how well Blizzard is performing this expansion! Best the game has been in so many years.
It makes no sense that the new primal upgrade isnt account wide. My main that has all the renown rep does not need 395 gear this far into a patch, my alts would like it however.
Send them the 385 gear and then upgrade it on the alts?
it's meant for your alts, you just have to mail them the pieces before you right click them.

@@SirCircon well no, because you have to transform the item which would make it soulbound, but you can easily go on your alt, get the currency needed to upgrade and do it then.
it's so good to get more regular content that's just not raids and an area to farm some gear for the raid. really happy with the direction of the game so far this expac
more cosmetics, stories and random little things to do by re-using old dead areas is great!

This is good! A catch up is what I need right now! I could use something to raise my renown even faster and some higher level gear! I still have some characters I haven’t raised yet, so this will help!

I also heard they will be implementing the ability: preferred form for the Worgens, similar to the Dracthyr. Not sure if that is true or not or if it will arrive in the next patch.

Was kinda hoping on a recraft change. Currently playing on a almost dead server and its almost impossible to get my items upgraded sadly.

I just want good Night Elf heritage armor. I know we kinda got it with warfronts but they don't really look that good and not like how the actual night elfs look.
Balance of Power being account wide is the single thing I'm most excited about for 10.0.7 LOL... I did it 2-3x during legion, and that was enough.
in some ways the forbidden reach reminds me of timeless isles which i liked
They need to bring back reputation tabards. I mainly just have time to restock the AH and do mythic +. Most of my reps are still at level 13 and I’ve been playing about 3 days a week since launch.
These are all great but I would still like to get a pack animal, mule/camel.

I got excited about the new heritage armor for humans. Def looking forward to getting those quests done. I want an old-school quest like in classic (e.g., paladin quest to get their mount).
nothing will ever compare to classic. mounts are just handed out now for everything. hell if you give blizzard money & have no self respect, you get mounts. it's run by menopausal women who only care about money, where as old wow was about exploration and hard challenges to unlock cool mounts.
@@AshRektum Yes!!! Speaking of which, one of the reasons why I love the flight mechanism in Dragonflight is because it is not unlimited flying. You are forced to use your blue circles (lol, I forgot the name) strategically. It's more of a challenge.

I heard from a guildie that worgen were getting a new racial that let them automatically change form out of combat like drakthyr have. Didn't hear you mention that though. So is my friend mistaken or was that skipped over?

do whatever you can with it, because Valor is being removed again, in lieu of a new gearing system that is super alt friendly.

i'm definitely ready to play catch up, i am going to do M+ in season 2 with the new gearing system, so starting at 395 for everyone will be helpful as that means that i can start progressing as soon as the new season starts.
Back in Shadowlands you needed a lot of time to be top on your dps gear for pve. Is it like that in this patch too?
That is no longer the case! All you need is your gear (from dungeons, raids, world content etc., your choice). No soulbinds or conduits or any of that nonsense. And from what I understand, those gems for the new ring are fairly easy to obtain
Dragonflight was fun, but I lasted less than 30 days returning to WoW.
In my first RP scene, where I was staying came up. I couldn't find a suitable inn room or home or... anything. My only option was saying I was sleeping outdoors.
Why WoW has no housing is beyond me, but I'm waiting until whatever expansion finally has housing.
The orc set is way better than the human set. I am thinking the human helmet is meh in the front forehead
Sigh. I came back to this video to see if I heard right. LOL! Been doing the RAF for all the Explorer rewards. Should have gotten the 12 month reward on Tuesday...patch day. I didn't get the mog set. :( They gave me the battle pet from the new RAF rewards. Talked with a GM and they are totally confused about everything I told them. /cry. I really wanted that mog set.
I'm really excited I can stop lying to myself with this patch.

No, its season 1 till 10.1, so u have till 10.1 to do KSM.
Edit: also come 10.1 you no longer need io to upgrade gear yay, so io will only need to be done to get into higher keys and for mount. And since the mount is lame and basicly a reskin, im only doing keys to ugrade my gear to 444 faster.

yup, it's there for catchup. better to have catchup now rather than while S2 is well underway.

Honestly I did that Balance of Power Quest like 5 times and I’m already disgusted by it. I’m super glad now is account wide since it has a great selection of transmogs from the artifacts.

@@UltimateGamerCC yep, i hear some people also want the gear upgrade in 10.1 to be account wide, meaning if your decked in 444-447 gear u can upgrade ur alts gear at no crest cost. Im like no gearing alts is half the fun.

@@jethrodark2372 actually you can get upgraded without crests, but you will still need Flightstones and of course appropriate gear. but that's the beauty of this patch, easy catchup, yet still requires effort, just not nearly as much of it.

Some people have been saying it's for Stromgarde but it's a lot more brighter than their colors and fits Scarlet Crusade better. Plus it's literally got Scarlet in its name.

Rework Paladin, gives them shit for tier bonuses again. I swear I'm about ready to give up my main because Pally just doesn't play fun anymore.
nah, the Ret set bonuses are gonna be a boon, Judgement and Hammer adding debuff on top of how much they are used, it's better than half of the sets.

Lol why would use even use normal flying when dragon riding is 500% faster. It would litterally take you 30mins to fly anywere in DF with reg flying. Only need for reg flying is for herb/ore farming.
I dont understand how someone cant like dragon riding, maybe if u havent unlocked all the glyphs, but who hasnt done that by now. And in 10.1 dragon riding will get even better because you can generate vigor by skimming the ground while flying.

I hate Dragonflight renown I do pvp and only pvp wqs, dragon riding wqs.
Mu renown is 1-2 on everything.
Shadowlands renown from everything was better I did pvp and had renown.

anyone who actually grinded every quest in every zone and maxed renown with everyone, needs therapy and to go outside. that's fucking concerning. play a different game that doesn't make you grind senseless rep just to change the color of your dragons skin SO fucking useless and hard to grind just for a COLOR CHANGE
might switch back to classic if they're really diving into this renown shit. it's the most boring thing I've ever done in a video game. I fucking hate the dragon isles and how hard it is to navigate so I don't want to fly around doing boring daily's & weekly's
