Removing a Storm Damaged Tree Off of a House!

  • In today’s video, we at Russell Tree Experts are removing a hazardous tree that failed and fell onto the homeowner’s house during a recent thunderstorm in Columbus, Ohio. We used our knuckleboom crane, dielectric gas powered pole pruner, mini articulating loader, and grapple truck to help in this removal. With the tree being relatively small and less than 30 feet off the ground, this jobsite provided a good training opportunity for our crew member Bodi on technical crane removals. We knocked this removal out safely and efficiently within a few hours! Enjoy!
    Through our dedication to safety, education, teamwork, and the environment, our mission is to provide the best tree care and arboriculture resources in central Ohio.

    The one thing that shouts professionalism is how clean and tidy you leave the job... Fantastic job lads..

      After all that mess nicely cleared up, and the noise all stopping, there is something sad seeing everyone go!

      I didn't see any neighbors come out to complain about the noise, dust or dirt.
      You left the area better than you found it.
      Great Job by your no nonsense crew.

    Well done. Those pole saws are underrated, so much easier and safer for general cleanup and trimming. If a homeowner makes a mistake with a pole saw, they're 8 feet away from the action and business end, and far less likely to get hurt.

      Somebody probably told them the tree is dead and it’s going to fall on your house and he probably said yeah right

    That’s cool…crane controlled by remote. Was really slow moving, though. I know you have to consider momentum but still, coulda been a litter faster, but you’re the experts.

    Dont know how true it is, but ive been informed that insurance will not payout if a obvious rotton tree damages property or injures someone

    • @gregmckitrick3752
      @gregmckitrick3752 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Insurance has to pay unless the homeowner tried to get the insurance to pay before it fell , stating the fact that the tree is a danger , then then insurance company would say that you should have it removed, otherwise
      Once it hits the house they have to pay.

    คนไทยจะห้ามกันไว้ว่าอย่าปลูกบ้านใกล้ต้นไม้ใหญ่หรือปลูกต้นไม้อย่าให้ใกล้บ้านผลจึงไม่เป็นเช่นนี้

      If you live in the US and your American neighbors have big trees, you can’t prohibit them. Believe me, we’re crying out without help!

    Big old trees close to your houses do not only damage your houses and garages’s floors, but they are places for snakes, hidden cameras, and hiding intruders!

      Dude, you must be a Karen, and never worked on a crew on a dangerous job, ever. We must be watching different videos, 'cause I don't hear any childish anything. I hear good humored banter occasionally, but mostly pro focus on a dsngerous job. News flash: those pros are regular guys with personalities. If you ever worked on a construction crew or been in the military, you'd know this.
