Thank you for your nice comment! Yes i am planning on posting almost all of my new paintings as tutorials, I’ve had some requests on my IG and it feels more productive to just film the whole thing Vs. small shots for my IG reels. I hope this will help out 🙌💙
@@juliegazounaud I like to paint landscapes, including the sea and waves! (that's why I started following your work). Your paintings are amazing, my favorite is the one with the sunset!
Hi.love your tutorial on this. I'm new at painting and wondering if you can slow down a bit. I find I can't follow. And maybe a little more information on your color mixing. Thanks. I am going to give this one a try
Thank you for your feedback! This one was a quick 10 min tutorial, but I’ll definitely try and make more explanations in future videos 😘 have you tried the underwater painting one ? It’s a 30 min tutorial. For color mixing, I don’t spend too much time on it because if you do t have the exact same colors + brand as I use, you won’t necessarily get the same results, and I don’t think it’s important that you do! Use the colors you have at home, and it will be just as good 🥰
@@juliegazounaud Hi Julie. I tried this out today. I'm certainly need alot of practice but having trouble with highlights. I will watch the tutorial again. I would really like to get the water down right . It's an awesome painting and you are inspiring thanks Veronica
@@veronicaseguin6213 it’s great I’m so happy you made the painting! It will come easier with practice, painting water is such an interesting subject to paint !! Try and take some time to really watch your subject and differenciate the colors : what is the water color, the sky color, and the sunlight colors, know that these three are often present in your ocean ! The key is knowing where to paint them and how to blend them and making them smooth ! I’m positive you will get where you want to be soon !! 🥰🔥💪 love to chat, - Julie ❤️
I used it because I’m trying out different mediums from liquitex. I’m not used to using mediums so I thought it could be interesting to try them out! I think it’s good when you don’t want a completely matte finish, and the gloss is too “sheen” for you. I personally like matte finishes so I guess the satin one is okay because there is not that big of a difference between matte and satin. To be perfectly honest, Im still a fan of matte paintings. They are the most “natural” looking for me so I don’t think I’ll be using it in the futur :) I thought it would give a bigger difference but you can’t see it that much (or maybe it’s just me and I didn’t put enough ? 🤷♀️)
Loved it! I'm going to try doing the same very soon!
Julie the painting is gorgeous. Thank you. The only request is to get the camera closer to your brush or canvas so we can see your strokes. Thank you.
Very cool that you share how you make your paintings, with tutorials. Your paintings are very beautiful! thank you so much!

What is your opinion about the Satin Gel you used for the first time on this tutorial? Why did you used it and did it perform as you expected?

@@juliegazounaud do you use any mediums to keep acrylics from drying up too quick while you work?
