what a coincidence ive started a physical therapy program twice and dropped out both times its what my parents wanted a career in the medical school me im interested in beauty but i am afraid to get into it because i know this will irrepairably break my relationship with my parents. so im stuck in this weird place of not doing what my parents want and being to scared of the repercussions of doing what i want
I definitely understand you! follow your dreams and do what you want your parents lived their life now it’s time for you to live yours… even though your parents have your best interest you definitely have to follow your passion and if cosmetology don’t work out it’s not the end of the world life is all about trail and error take the leap of faith you would never know something is for you unless you try!
I feel like most times when parents want their child to go into the medical field it’s because they want their child to have financial stability/high earning potential, and to have the status of being smart/accomplished. Do what your life is calling YOU to do and do it so well that you will have a high earning potential and show off your knowledge in the field you’re passionate about! God got you because God is the SOURCE, your parents are only a RESOURCE!!
What in depth did your school do with nails? I'd like to do all hair, skin and nails. But I gotta think money. I'm thinking it'll be my second choice in my career in the beauty industry. Esthetics along with nails is my first choice.
To be completely honest if you’re looking to start a career for nails go to a nail tech school because cosmetology school don’t cover a lot unfortunately that’s the same with skin care the most you will learn is the basics now as far as hair if you’re serious do your research talk to some of the students if you can and get as much information before signing up
Cosmetology school cover hair and nails… don’t worry if you don’t learn a lot about nails & lashes you can always work up under someone or pay for classes for extra training the goal is to get a license that cover mostly everything which is cosmetology
I want to be a medical esthetician. But I live in small town. There is a cosmetologist School and collage here. But I want to be medical esthetician. After I get my license what the next step?? To become a medical esthetician???
It’s kinda tricky you can pay for additional classes such as (microdermabrasion and chemical peel) but after doing research in order to derma-plain or puncture the skin which most medical spas require you have to obtain an esthetician license but don’t give up on your dreams if it’s something that you really want to do definitely do some research
It covers the basics but if you want to further your career I would recommend going to a esthetician school or working in a spa after you’re done with cosmetology school to get the proper training in skin care
@@tweetyy3363 I wish I saw this Earlier! Ogle definitely confused me making it seem like cosmetology program includes esthetician in depth but it Doesn’t! Know I start class for cosmetology and don’t wanna do it
@@Tickiidadoll sorry i replied to the wrong comment but nooooo they don’t go in depth the only thing you will know is basic facials and the school I go to does a poorly job at explaining just a basic facial 🥴 I would definitely drop out before you get too deep into school
