I just want to say thank you and express gratitude. I got my D5+ yesterday. The learning curb has been GREATLY reduced for me, thanks to your informative videos. So far every “curve ball” that my scooter has had , I’ve been able to remedy thanks to your videos/tutorials. So thanks again for sharing your passion with us. P.S. could you possibly to a video on: 1. Eco/turbo and single/dual 2. A more in depth video on proper calibration for accurate speed readings 3. After market accessories you recommend. Seeing as how your videos answered all my questions: You’re my go to guy lol. Thanks again!
The power start on my d4+ adds instant torque after I press the throttle but I keep it of and only use it when I want to "take off". My acceleration readings are 0-30 kmh: 2,6 seconds and 0-40kmh: ≈4 seconds. Otherwise, using "normal start", the numbers are almost double. The top power is there but it builds up slowly without the power start allowing much smoother accelerations.
Very good and straight to the point. I’m still a little surprised that higher-end scooters use such a complicated and non-intuitive controller, while entry-level Xiaomi and Ninebots have coloured and easy to understand displays and settings. I guess these Nanrobot-style controllers can be used on whatever make and model, so some money can be saved here, even though they look like straight from the 80s. The brake settings were most valuable to me as the electronic/motor brake was too strong at 1 and 2, especially if you just ‘tip’ it to slow down a little while descending. Deactivated it now at 0, I don’t ride fast though. Works great now
Thank you. Bought a ROLLGOOD scooter (based in Manhattan, NY). It didn't come with an instruction manual. The throttle controller in your video is identical to mine. Your video helped me navigate it easily. I reduced my electronic braking (WAS set at 2) And, I'm now able to figure/find my total mileage. Safe riding and now subscribed to your channel. 👊👍✌
For accurate speed reading set wheel size to 10 inches and play with the number of magnetic poles ( should be minimum 15). Or you could open the motor and count the magnets. Those 2 settings only affect the speed reading on the display. My thoughts on why they set it to 10 is so they can brag with higher speeds.

@@wattsinyours Hey man, so little mini unboxing review. My D6+ just came in today. In reference to the ones you've bought, right out of the box everything was tightened on the frame, brakes, etc. The brakes were already calibrated and the disk doesn't grind.the EBS is also very smooth on 1 out of 3 in settings. They put coverings over all the wires and bunched them with zip ties so no wires rub on the frame. I tightened and mounted the handle bars. The only damage to the entire scooter when I opened it was on the LCD screen, it has a lot of scratches from rubbing against the brake handle assembly during shipping. Asside from that it is very well rounded looking at the past models. The suspension is perfect. I can't bottom it out myself even if I jump up and down on it haha. I think it is more in line with some of the well known brands now. It pulls hard up to 35mph so far on a slight incline. Plenty fast. I haven't tried the more aggressive acceleration in the p settings yet.
Hello! Today I noticed great deceleration. Gear after 1200 km was reset to 1 instead of 3. Also, my trip suddenly reset to 0, km/h changed to higher speed numbers and brake level changed to 2 instead of 1.
Hey bud I think p7 adjusts how hard the scooter takes off from a start. With this setting at 0 it's a hard acceleration and with it at 1 it's still strong but slightly smoother than 0. I didn't notice much of a difference either until I tried to go slow with it then I noticed the difference

I keep my D4+ set to powerstart but the settings are backwards meaning set at 1 powerstart is engaged, and set at 0 powerstart is not engaged... in the manual it says powerstart is engaged while set to 0 but I get full torque when set to 1, so they just made a mistake in the manual as there are quite a few mistakes. and the manual is the same for all D4+ and D5+ as far as I know.
From what I have researched the interface component you are changing settings on is call the "LCD display with accelerator" not the "controller". The "controller" is the electronic device located under deck of the scooter that regulates current amount from battery to motor based on what you do with the accelerator.
@Bee Vee yeah i guess people call it a bunch of different things, so i just need to be clear when referring to the "throttle controller" on the handle bars or the "speed controller" in the deck. Not trying to confuse people. Thanks for your feed back and for watching my videos.
So has there been any new information on how the P03 Setting can be adjusted and as to why the Default Setting is said to be 0 but is set to 1? I have the X4 2.0 and have the very same issues as it seems that they use the very same control boards. Thanks for the video! Good job!

good day! i was worried about my P2 settings,it was setted into 17.supposed to be 10 for default. i dual motor scoot,1200W each motor..can you please help me.thank u!
It was set correctly at 17 most likely. That setting only affects the speed reading and nanrobot set it low so they can brag with higher but fake speeds.
P0 is P10 setting its just sort of a mistake made by whoever created the settings menu, P0/P10 is not used and does not control anything in the computer.
everytime i change the P1 my battery gauge is playing if i put 40 the battery gauge is empty when i put it in 20 the battery gauge is always full even its low bat.
Could be a couple of things but i would try and take the 3 small screws in the back off and check your connections. If not that follow the wire down into the scooter and check your connections there. The firat one will be the easiest the 2nd a little bit harder.
I did continuity tests on all wires to the controller. Passed but they are small wires and any pinch will render them useless. I’ll double check again. It’s been tearing me up mentally.
I weigh around 150 lbs and my D4 + has a top speed of 40 mph, that is when fully charged I notice top speed decreases a bit as the battery volts decrease as well. I assume I just got a really good battery by chance for the integrity of the battery can be slightly higher or lower in the same voltage battery this is mainly determined by the manner that it was charged the first couple times I believe because that can affect the memory of the battery itself.
My scooter turns off at 2 bars of battery every time it says I can go for 40 miles but doesn’t even get half of that can anyone please help the support team themselves can’t even help
p7 - 1 - for me is a faster start, more powerful! even if the manual said 0 is power start, 1 slow start, the scooter is not a nanrobot , but looks the same, its a Janobike 2000W and has the same P menu.
I have both scooters (janobike and d5+) and their P settings are the same, powerstart on is more like dragrace-mode and makes the scooter almost uncontrolable to ride, the Janobike accelerates much faster than the D5+ and it was a lot cheaper even.
I AM GOING TOO UPGRADE IN NEXT FEW WEEKS, ONLY GOT A 15 MPH ONE AN I FUCKING HATE IT, LOL, I NEED SUMMIT WITH SOME KICK TOO IT, 40-50 MPH, I HAVE BEEN LOOKING BUT THERE IS TOO MANY, LOL, I GOT ABOUT 1500 TOO SPEND, WHAT WOULD YOU RECOMMEND, DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS, I AM NEW TOO THIS AS WELL, ITCHING TOO BUST HIGH SPEEDS ON ONE BRO, JUST CONFUSED ON WHAT IS THE BEST TOO BUY, SO FAR THE DUALTRON IS CATCHING MY EYE, WHAT WOULD YOU RECOMMEND BRO...

i was worried about my P2 settings,it was setted into 17.supposed to be 10 for default.
i dual motor scoot,1200W each motor..can you please help me.thank u!
Does anyone have a link to the English manual ?
Are these p settings the same for d6+
They probably are pretty close i would assume. Those J&P controllers are pretty much the same across the board in those type of scooters.
everytime i change the P1 my battery gauge is playing if i put 40 the battery gauge is empty when i put it in 20 the battery gauge is always full even its low bat.
Same issue
My display has a box appearing on and off like blinking and I can’t accelerate nor run the scooter ?
Could be a couple of things but i would try and take the 3 small screws in the back off and check your connections. If not that follow the wire down into the scooter and check your connections there. The firat one will be the easiest the 2nd a little bit harder.
wattsinyours what’s that box symbol mean ??
I did continuity tests on all wires to the controller. Passed but they are small wires and any pinch will render them useless. I’ll double check again. It’s been tearing me up mentally.
@@PURGE-3000 i know how u feel. Keep at it and you will find it.
@@PURGE-3000 what box symbol are you referring to? Also how did you make out on your throttle issue?
What top speed are you able to hit
32 but my wife can hit 33
I weigh around 150 lbs and my D4 + has a top speed of 40 mph, that is when fully charged I notice top speed decreases a bit as the battery volts decrease as well. I assume I just got a really good battery by chance for the integrity of the battery can be slightly higher or lower in the same voltage battery this is mainly determined by the manner that it was charged the first couple times I believe because that can affect the memory of the battery itself.
Ludicrous speed...
Kinda hilarious, the misspellings are still not corrected in the new manuals.
My scooter turns off at 2 bars of battery every time it says I can go for 40 miles but doesn’t even get half of that can anyone please help the support team themselves can’t even help
My scooter is cruise control will not turn off, no matter what I do
Ordered mine last night
Power start means you can just turn the key and go
p7 - 1 - for me is a faster start, more powerful! even if the manual said 0 is power start, 1 slow start, the scooter is not a nanrobot , but looks the same, its a Janobike 2000W and has the same P menu.
Upload a video of your scooter!! is amazing
I have both scooters (janobike and d5+) and their P settings are the same, powerstart on is more like dragrace-mode and makes the scooter almost uncontrolable to ride, the Janobike accelerates much faster than the D5+ and it was a lot cheaper even.
