I see there already is 2 versions of Gimbals. The VS-M hall and the RDC90 with front adjustment and some aluminum. The RDC90 are potentiometer and according to jumper are more premium than the hall sensor. They are available separately. All the reviewers may have gotten that version. The radios I have seen for sale have the VS-M gimbal.
You won't notice difference between hall and potentiometer. I have Jumper with T18 with hall gimbals. I have to recalibrate it often because of temperature drift and jitter. My cheap frsky-9 lite with potentiometers doesn't have this issue.
I don’t know why I have something against the pocket. It’s like it doesn’t feel like a real FPV product for me. But hey, many love it and it’s pretty well priced!
@@NordFPV Thanks Nord I really appreciate it do you mean that all edge TX radios are generic E.G. I could watch a TX16s mark II setup video and it would be the same to the Jumper T15
@@kaidronquad yes, exactly. As said, Joshua Bardwell just released a video series called EdgeTX set-up. That's the best video serie you will find to set-up your jumper T15.
The T15 is the first radio that made me retire my Tango 2. The only thing (and maybe I just haven’t found it yet) that I wish I could do is lock the touch screen when it’s armed. When I take my goggles off I’m usually on some random screen. I haven’t accidentally changed anything yet but I’m sure it’s going to happen
A completely new edge tx installation doesn’t have any model configured. If you get Radiomaster radio you will see they have a “boxer” model, a “ELRS” model, and I think there’s something else. These are pre-configured for your boxer (together with some games as well)
sd card mabey so you cannot put open tx on it . I think open tx does not support touch screen ,, not sure is you can do it through the port . i been using open tx on my pro t
The radio comes with edge tx and you can use open tx of you wanted. But open tx is not as advanced as edge tx… anyway, yes you can change it if you want.
@@NordFPV the all metal Gimbals I prefer . color screen is not a must ,, would you go with the boxer I have the Jumper Pro T the plastic drives me crazy gets squeaky and slightest dust causes grinding
@@bengordon7635 The gimbals in the T15 are not all-metal. I've heard that Jumper will release an all-metal gimbal pretty soon. I'm not sure what to answer to your question. I have both radios, boxer and T15, and I'm using the T15 more. In a way the boxer feels like better built, but at the same time the T15 is lighter, way lighter, which in the long run I appreciate. I guess the "feeling" is a very subjective topic.
@@NordFPV I bought the boxer max the color touch screen just uses more battery I do not use the screen much anyway and love that 6500mah battery for the radio master boxer max edition thanks cheers
the numbers on the processor in the max is different then the crush the aax says it has a stm32407 processor the crush has the stm32dgt6 is there a differance ....in the max ad its says it has a more powerful processor
I have both , the Jumper T15 is a nice radio that has pretty good quality. The gimbals feel really good and the sticks are the nicest I’ve seen on a stock radio. All the buttons and operating system is robust and it updates flawlessly. It’s a nice all around package for the price. The operating navigation of the radio is smooth. I opened it up to firm up the throttle and the dampening feels amazing. Very clean build inside . The 1w elrs module has an aluminum heat sink and the fan pulls heat off and right out the vent at the back. The Boxer fan has to push air up thru half the radio and vents out the top. Both work to cool but the jumper is much more efficient.
It'll be your new favorite radio, until it breaks or malfunctions, and is crap! Jumper has never made quality products! They are very low quality with bugs and stupid decisions that cause them to be throw away products! Terrible design equals terrible reliability! No way I'd ever buy any of their products! The one I did buy, burned itself up with an actual fire coming out of the middle of the product! Flames 🔥 and everything! 😒💯👎
I’ve had my reservations in the past with jumper. The t lite was a great radio, but it’s true they have missed the mark a couple of times. I remember the first ELRS product came out with the ELRS team support. That said, this one feels like the sum of all their efforts and it’s actually pretty good. I think they are learning. After a couple of months using it I have not found a problem. I can’t never say never, but there’s nothing yet indicating this has any quality problem. But thanks for your message!

I still have my tx16s from like 4 years ago. I'm addition for whoops and traveling the pocket.
This looks awesome and is an inbetween size. Good price

I just got my T15 and am wondering if you could make a basic setup video, I love the radio though.
Hi. There are many videos on how to set up edge tx. Bard well just launched a full new series.

It has never happened to me but I see how it can happen very easily. Feature request for edgetx!
I love my T15 so far but there's weird whistling noise coming from the speaker. I hear it even in this video.
Yeah. I’ve heard it too. It bothered me in the beginning but not anymore.
What do u mean with pre configured models?

Not it the same ballpark as Radiomaster in quality or reliability! 💯👎
Just sold my boxer for t15, lol

Already had a gimbal fail after using the radio for about a week… I’ve never had a gimbal fail before.
Depends on which radio model. I have T18 for past 4 years and it has been very reliable.
