Great breakdown. It would be good to do a video on XP and how that works. For example, I replayed the first mission twice. First attempt results in loads of stress, loads of kills, but also, loads of XP. Second attempt, super clean, very few fights - low XP. Early game, would it be better to farm XP to boost a squad to high level, as the Trauma maxes at 3 bars. So additional stress doesn't matter within the confines of that mission.
True, but also note that, in the beginning, you don't have access to much Gear or the Phychiatric Care Wing. So if your main Squad becomes a trainwreck, moving forward might prove to be a challenge.

This game is basically like Warthunder, because that game requires you to grind vehicles and spare parts the same way as you need to grind your Marines into better fighting force and to unlock new perks to complete other missions easier.
My marines are a mess.. And one of then has the paranoid affliction…. I think Im going to start over and rest more. I downloaded the a cracked version but erased it and bought the steam version once I realized how amazing this game is…. This is possibly top 1 or 2 games made about Aliens about the Aliens franchise.
And speaking of Retribution, if you activate it, not only you'll reduce stress damage by 30%, but also you'll heal 1 Health Point, or 2 Health Points once retribution reached 100%, plus, it can slightly heal your Marines as the alternative to Medkits, if you want to save Medkits for any Marine has lower than 2 or 3 health points left. So use Retribution wisely and carefully if you're hunted or attacked, especially in Defensive Phase.

Got a couple gripes, like when you want to snipe with the Recon and the unit is the last one in the formation, around the corner. All-in-all, is competently made, but there are a few such mistakes.

Armor has nothing to do with it. You don't have to reach 100% to get Trauma. Make a habit of extracting sooner, or counter with Upgrades.

As for the Stress while on the mission... if the Stress is around 30%, about the Retribution Ability and the Avenger Perk.

Man, this is a professional mic with noise cancellation and filters up its rectum. Compression is the culprit here, methinks.

It's a life-saver.
I hate the stress management aspect of the game. It's too confusing.
It's a bit difficult at first, but as you get to understand the system it becomes much more manageable.
