Wow cool!! Another super helpful video! Thanks! I couldn’t figure out where the psychological part of the medical bay was! When you say, “Complete the second mission”, do you mean “chapter”? I’m almost done with Dead Hills and still don’t have it unlocked. Do I have to complete the “Berkeley’s Dock” chapter to access it? Thanks in advance! 👍🏻
One thing I don't like but understand is that the assistant entries don't unlock till effect happen. I don't remember seeing trauma till my guys got some. Before that I leveled I had a choice to get a skill that would remove trauma after 3 days but skipped it for two of my guys. Haven't unlock the Pys Ward but I now have my Medic with Paraniod. So my head cannon is she keeps her team live because if they die she can't keep an eye on them and know what they are planning.
What I did was rotated through all marines in the early missions to get them all experienced. Once trauma unlocks, then lose the traumas. Also try and avoid stressful situations like battle. Move around carefully and rest regularly to control the stress. I found the stress system quite confusing at first, so I made a vid about it: th-cam.com/video/7hAes3E9jQQ/w-d-xo.html
Ah damn. I have my badass group of marines but man do they got some serious trauma going on. They kill everything but I havnt beat the second mission yet
I’ve never seen alien but I’ve seen avp but anyway I bought this and alien isolation and I’m having a blast, didn’t think I would like dark decent because of the type of game it was but I was wrong I’m going hard.
It's a great game. Glad you like it. It's a tough game to beat on hard. Good luck! Oh, and you really should watch Alien and Aliens. Both are absolute masterpieces by two fine Directors. Two of my fave films and Directors. Ridley Scott did Alien. It's a beautiful sci-fi film full of suspense. Aliens goes more to action and is quite the ride. That's by James Cameron. I have watched both films many times.

You're welcome. Yeah I mean the chapters. I call them missions as it says launch mission when you go out. And yep, the dock one is the one you need 🙂

I did the same initially. But you got to go at it quite gentle and give them breaks initially to keep stress under control.

Can you get rid of negative traits?
Yep. Occasionally when a marine is promoted, there's a skill you can get called redemption which will remove it.

Use the marine until promotion and sometimes you'll have an option called redemption which lets you remove a trait.
