How exciting That you have another getaway coming up! I love that you and your sister enjoy each other enough to travel together..treasure that ♥, And how exciting that you pulled "Maurice" from the jar! (It is my vote for this month!) I have, but have not read, Joy Luck Club and would be perfectly happy to hear about it as well. And now I am off to do some baking...peanut butter cookies and pumpkin spice doughnuts 🍩🍪 Take care!
@@musicroom7185 it’s very exciting! She’s my sisters but also my friend. We can’t wait to go! I’m also very excited to read Maurice, if it wins! Oh, also I’m on way to try one of those doughnuts. Save one for me! 😊
Hi Jack! 😊 I've yet to read anything by Maggie Nelson but I'm very curious about her works, looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Bluets. The Joy Luck Club has been on my tbr for ages but I simply must vote for Maurice! It is one of my favourite classics of all time, and there is also a lovely film adaptation from the 80s that I wholeheartedly recommend. Wishing you in advance a happy holiday with lots of fun and rest!!! ☀🌊
@@rie_violet hi my friend! I’m very excited to read Bluets, I’ve heard nothing but great things. Love that you’ve already read Maurice. And want me to read it! You’ve made me very excited for it. Thank you, I really appreciate that 😊
@@lynseyb7221 you got picked again! You are a winner! Always are in my eyes! I hope you ring the lottery (feel free to share your winnings 😂) Love that you voted for the other book 😂
A much better, more relatable book than Maurice is Against the Law by Peter Wildblood. Less British school boy melancholy. So I will say Joy Luck Club. Happy holidays 🎉🎉
Maurice, please!
@@toddr1709 thank you for voting 😊
You are so adorable and your humour and personality bring me so much joy! X
@@keibailey4739 thank you so much! That’s really kind! I needed to hear that today 🥹
