Dying for the Yucca palette. I almost bought it at launch, but I decided I’m going to make myself earn it. I’m losing weight, so I decided when I hit the 20 lb milestone, I will treat myself. This is how I’m curbing my spending AND giving myself the motivation to keep eating healthy and exercising.

Hey Lauren! You mentioning that your eyes were burning reminded me of Theresa from the channel TheresaisDead. Natasha Denona is a hit & miss brand to her bc a ton of the shadows make her eyes burn, so it might be the shadows that are doing it to you, too. Just thought I'd mention it in case it keeps happening whenever you wear this palette. Hopefully it doesn't!! Thanks for the late night upload :) I gotta say, I've seen a bunch of reviews/looks and not only is yours absolutely gorgeous, but it's pretty unique compared to the ones I've seen.. just one example of why I LOVE watching your creativity unfold on screen 😊 Have a great rest of your week!

I’ve been wearing nothing but MAC Groundwork paint pot on my eyes for like 2 yrs, but I ALWAYS only love seeing Lauren play with a new palette and create such amazing looks!

I love the quality of this palette, but I like the color stories in the Nomad and Oden’s Eye palettes better. Less yellow, more browns and greens.

Being from the Caribbean and living in florida I always thought I had oily skin! Moved up north just to find that no matter how many thick creams and oils I slap on I feel dry all the time.
It's crazy how humidity impacts my skin and hair. I visited Denver in May a few years ago and everything was PERFECT. But then back home in land-locked West Virginia, it's more humid than Florida and my hair is a nightmare and my skin is super oily, red, and just hates life in general. 😂
Also the sephora gel liners are amazing and I have a beautiful chartreuse from that line also that looks identical to that. All those colors perform immediately well and last.

Such a gorgeous look, hope it’s not still burning your eyes! Could you compare it to the Glamlite Dirty Martini palette? I know they’re not the same but maybe compare some of the greens and the overall feel in use

The eyes are so On Point!! You have the perfect eye shape though, I wish I could copy your eye looks. Really stunning.
The Fitglow concealer is the only undereye concealer that meets all of my dry, line-y, mature-skin, dark-circle undereye needs-and I have tried an embarrassing number of undereye concealers in my quest. I had a bit of a learning curve with it, but I’m so glad that I powered through. It’s honestly like magic. I mix shades 2 and 2.5 to get my perfect shade match, and I have the best results when I use it over an eye cream.

My Yucca palette arrives tomorrow! I'm feeling both excited, but also nervous that the formula will irritate my very sensitive eyes. Retro and Bronze both do, unfortunately. Which really makes me sad because those are the "neutrals" that really bring out the green in my in-between blue-green eyes. Hoping and praying that Yucca doesn't have that effect...stay tuned!
Also, I just wanted to let you know that I thoroughly LOVE the entire look you put together here. It just has such an exotic vacation vibe going on!

I’ve really been interested in this palette. Looks amazing. Fwiw yucca is pronounced “yoo-ca”. I went into the grocery store once and asked for “yuck-a” and the grocer looked confused for a moment and then said, oh, “yoo-ca”. Hahaha so that’s how I learned.

I recently got the Gxve contour/bronzer duo & I love it. I’m pretty fair, I got the lightest shade & the cream contour is so good, really great shade, super blendable but not too creamy if that makes sense. The powder shade is really light, but a really nice tone. I’ve actually been using it to even out the lighter spaces in my face, like the centre, that I end up with after doing the rest of my base - ala Kackie & the way she uses the light shade in the Victoria Beckham.

I love everything I have tried from Fitglow, even though they are expensive! Their skincare is the best and the cream blush quad is amazing, blends like a dream, the concealer doesn't work for me anymore as I have more fine lines than a few years ago when I first tried it.
The Yukka pallette looks beautiful but in the UK it was only selling at Selfridges and it sold out quickly QwQ. Hopefully it stocks on Look Fantastic soon, I saw the listing but it isn't for sale yet

Can you compare the Yucca palette to Subculture. When I was switching Yucca, some of the grungy tones reminded me to Subculture. Probably not many exact dupes, just some similar vibes with some shades
