And there was absolutely no reason for that scene to happen in-story; it isn't even consistent with the Platonians' powers displayed in the rest of the episode. The actors just must have wanted to screw around that week or something.
I never get tired of watching Lt. Uhura backhanding Sulu! I mean, she 'worked' him. She used him for her personal needs then tossed him aside when she was through with him.
Gotta say, one of my fave moments on the Mirror Mirror ep. is that fight. I always crack up at the wide eyed look on Spock's face before he backhands Kirk XD
"I'm Tweedledee, he's Tweedledum. We're spacemen marching to and from. We slythe among the mimsy troves, And tire among the borogroves." And lmao wtfxup was with that dog in like a hamster costume haha I remember that one. XD
Is it wrong that seeing Spock cry like that makes me want to cry too? I almost get more emotional when I see him get emotional. And Kirk's "stop hitting yourself" moment was GOLD
The fight scene in "Amok Time" reminds me of a caption in Leonard Nimoy's book "I Am Spock" underneath a photo of it - " Bill and I have a little script discussion over who gets the last line." LOL.
Plato’s Stepchildren is a classic. That was a funny episode from start to finish. Kirk and Spock singing Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, Kirk acting like horse (William Shatner looked like he enjoyed that), Spok singing “Dregs”, Spock crying, Spock dancing, everything in that episode was comedy gold.
LMAO He's captain Kirk.. Even kirk has bad days!! LOL !! I LOVED the enemy within, good episode indeed. lol, these clips are soo funny and the quips make the clips even funnier, haha nice work! omg the end :P
OMG thanks for this! The clips you chose were all hilarious and quite a few of your comments had me laughing out loud (btw, the words were hilarious with or without correct spelling; I don't know why people are so critical)!! Also, I'm just watching the series for the first time, and I'm almost done with the first season, but that of course means that I hadn't seen some of these clips. Apparently I have quite a few funny moments to look forward to, and I can't wait! Thanks again. : )
Spock was laughing, and I wanted to laugh with him. Kirk, what the heck are you doing acting like a HORSE??? O_O Also, yeeah. Spock can't be bought Kirk. And, YEAH SULU YOU NEED TO LEARN THE RULES!!! MY GOD!!!!
This show is so awesome. I watched all 3 seasons for the first time last year, great stuff. It was fun watching it with family because I'd have someone to make wisecracks to. xD The show was so funny sometimes, intentionally yes but mostly unintentionally I think. That said, there were some REALLY fantastic, serious, thought-provoking episodes. But most of them were just campy and goofy. =P
"Plato's Stepchildren" season 3 episode 10 at CBS com. The "midget" is Michael Dunn who had an IQ of 178 and supported himself through college. He had 38 film credits; he made 10 appearances as Dr. Loveless on "The Wild Wild West"; a Tony nomination and an Oscar nomination. He was a concert pianist at age 15 but gave it up as he suffered from chondrodystrophy. He died from complications of this disease at age 39. If he were alive today I wonder if he would prefer the term "little person"?
5:25-6:04-- what happens when you tell *William Shatner* to *deliberately* ham it up; I bet he was picking parts of the scenery out of his teeth for a *month* after they filmed that (my favorite is the way how he says 'LET ME GO!!!' and how he tells Spock that he'll hang him up by his Vulcan ears).
Yeah, "Kirks at it again." 6:21. I heard ol' JT got PO'd when the salt monster (with that fabulous mouth, according to his ships private log) got shot and couldn't suck anymore. >:)=)
The first time I saw the episode where Kirk & Spock were dancing & singing "I'm Tweedledee, he's Tweedledum" I just lost it XD
Same here
Plato’s Stepchildren

Same
I never get tired of watching Lt. Uhura backhanding Sulu!
I mean, she 'worked' him.

3:11 When William Shatner takes the game of "Stop hitting yourself." too seriously.
"I'M CAPTAIN KIRK!" He should have said, "I'M THE PRICELINE NEGOTIATOR!"
“I said give the BRANDY!”
Or "I'm the author of TekWars!"
Gotta say, one of my fave moments on the Mirror Mirror ep. is that fight. I always crack up at the wide eyed look on Spock's face before he backhands Kirk XD
1:27 Couldn't have said it better myself. LOL!
"I'm Tweedledee, he's Tweedledum.
We're spacemen marching to and from.
We slythe among the mimsy troves,
And tire among the borogroves."
And lmao wtfxup was with that dog in like a hamster costume haha I remember that one. XD
Uhura has the cutest little flabby belly. Like an apple.
the "im captain Kirk" bit just about killed me. Poor Bones, never got to win a fight...
'I...order you...lemmego!'
Ya this video is gold.
3:29 @ me when someone tells me the New Star Trek is better.
Oscar for Mr Kelley for not continually cracking up! My toes were curling tho
The last scene is the best :DDD awesome video :)
Spock you old smoothie
Looking back at this 45 years later, Im seeing new things every day. I'm amazed
this was hilarious thank you i needed a good laugh
Is it wrong that seeing Spock cry like that makes me want to cry too? I almost get more emotional when I see him get emotional.
And Kirk's "stop hitting yourself" moment was GOLD
lol Jesus Bones give him the brandy lol
I want a remote control Spock!!
The fight scene in "Amok Time" reminds me of a caption in Leonard Nimoy's book "I Am Spock" underneath a photo of it - " Bill and I have a little script discussion over who gets the last line." LOL.
Love Spock's angry eyes at 7:25
Surely you mean 7:26....

Incredible irony with \Sulu and O;Hura
Spock was laughing, and I wanted to laugh with him. Kirk, what the heck are you doing acting like a HORSE??? O_O Also, yeeah. Spock can't be bought Kirk. And, YEAH SULU YOU NEED TO LEARN THE RULES!!! MY GOD!!!!
ROTFLOL "He's Captian Kirk"
Everyone loves the agony booth...
Except for Chekov
Being Captain is SERIOUS BUSINESS. Being Captain Kirk is EVEN MORE SERIOUS BUSINESS.
Starfleet is SUPER SERIOUS BUSINESS.
Evil Kirk is funny when he's drunk.
-7:28 , Spock ripping Kirk’s shirt was the last straw.
Tos stands for the original series. Tos was the first serie that was filmed and i think its also the best one?
Yes. Yes. Yes. If anyone wants to tell me that the reboot is better, I’ll play some Amok Time fight music while we argue
This show is so awesome. I watched all 3 seasons for the first time last year, great stuff. It was fun watching it with family because I'd have someone to make wisecracks to. xD

GIMME THE BRANDY!!!!!!
Range from sublime to ridiculous.
I love tos.
Even bad trek is better than anything else.
Hey, great job on this. ^^ Your comments were pretty funny.~ =3
I try to imagine how the original series would have been if Jeffery Hunter had continued on after the unaired pilot.
7:44 Christ!
mirror sulu is strait
My second Kirk fight move favourite first being the drop kick was the hip toss, I just love toughs.🤩
Kirk as a horse was where I lost it
Haha, I know! I just noticed that the other day (I am watching the series for the first time) and had to laugh. A lot. XD
2:24 Super hot girl: "I know nothing about a brain" LOL
Oh yeah. These are classics moments.
Darkrealm33, this is hysterical! Job well done, because I have tears on my eyes as I write this comment! Real "Good Show"!!!
I couldn't stop laughing at that last scene!!! :D
I think a remote controlled Spock would make an excellent toy.
It's so sad when Spock cries
omg i luv spock laughing! it is so contagious!

I believe it's from Plato's Stepchildren.
I think.
Spock Laughing and crying ...... the world ends xD
love it, one of the best
You'd think Mirror Kirk would come to the same conclusion as Kirk Prime. Sure he may be a dictator, but he still has a brain.
5:30
Bismillah! No, we will not let you go!
2:36 poor McCoy, he can't fight for shit XD
"I'm a doctor, Ivyn, not a gladiator."
That is from "Amok Time" which is Season 2 Episode 1. It's a good one, you should watch it and find out the context yourself :)
Stop hitting yourself! Stop hitting yourself!
2:04 from which episode is that?
S3 E1 Spock's Brain
@@SCP--rc2zg Thank you
Question: how did Plato's Stepchildren ever read Alice in Wonderland?!
I just about piss myself at "IMMMMM CAPTAIN KIIIIIIIIIRRRRRKK!!!!"
Oh I did enjoy it, most thoroughly! 😍😘
lol! awesome work man.
LOVED IT!
Such an old video. And yet, here I am. A witness.
I hope Starfleet have bi-laws against letting Kirk near the photon torpedoes after he's been drinking
I almost peed my pants watching this. I love TOS and all its glorious lameness! Especially the fight scenes (Hip Toss!)
2:07 Ignorance is bliss!!!!
HA! amazing!! ^o^ i loved it!
yeah, laughing and crying
LOOLZ
Sulu can be so scary o_o"
Please, Mr. Spock. Control your emotions.
3:15. Kirk goes emo.
instead of thinking of Star Trek when I hear the fight-scene music at 00:30 I now think of Jim Carrey in The Cable Guy!!!!!
Yes, I agree. You could have a lot of fun with remote controlled Spock! (Wonder if J.J, Abrams is taking notes :P)
hey jimmy what did you get for christmas, well i got a remote control spock
“Remote Control Spock...your kids will play with it for hours”
“Batteries not included”
lol...No SEX for this guy then😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
“I said give me the BRANDY!”

Sulu: Ohh myyyy
Awesome!
Kirk does the worst horse impersonation ever...
My favourite part was when Kirk and Spock did a gay little jig at the end XD
Great clips and comments!
hey people watch where spock's hand is when he flips over scotty at 7:18 lol
LOL! great :D :P but it was even without comment
