I wish I had seen your review before I bought mine from Temu. I agree with your 4-5 stars. But I never crochet standing up or in a car. It doesn't work well for crocheting while I'm sitting in my recliner.
I think one could make it for table top or next to you on a sofa by hanging it from a banana holder-the kind that are a curved wood piece with a hook at the end so your bunch of bananas hange free and don't touch the counter.
Those work well for those of us who like to knit or crochet while walking. My husband made several for me.

I use mine in the car as a passenger and hook it onto the glove compartment handle. So much better than rolling all over the floor 😂
The extra spools are possibly for sock knitting to strengthen the heel and toes traditionally.
What extra spools?

I think you have the yarn on the wrong way? If you turn it the other way it may not get caught at the top
They are great on a plane. I hang it off the back of the seat in front and crochet away.
Thanks for your review. Now I'll buy one from the original designer and not buy from the thieves, Temu. Ever.
