    Maybe I’ve just had good luck, but I’ve got an 06 Dodge, and my dad has an 04, we live in Utah, lots of salt and snow, and neither is rusted out or clunky. Run great. My dads is pretty much all original, mine has new injectors and a new front end, both have about 170k on them.

    I agree on the later versions of Dodge/Cummins. My 2012 w/6.7 is okay but guzzles fuel. My old 89 w/5.9 has over 525,000 and gets over 20 mpg around town. The old one won't win any beauty contests but I dread the day it finally kicks the bucket. But since I am 70, maybe it will last me until my end.

Oil analysis was good. No fuel in oil. I’m thinking upgrade turbo to drop the egt and decrease smoke. What is your opinion.

    Just replaced mine on my 2013 ram 2500, followed all torque specs and instal methods for injector and injector tubes, everything went great but after assembly she won’t start. Cranked multiple attempts to no luck. How long does it take for the fuel system to self prime the lines leading to the injector feed tubes? Also heard that it is possibly a pressure issue? Any input would be fantastic

    Hey Debossgarage I just recently started grade 9 the school I chose is a catholic school( we have great uniforms) the reason why is they have the BEST shop classes, my favourite is the agricultural technology class. I didn't take a shop class this year because I wanted to get some of my other classes done first. I was just wondering what type of classes you took in high school, right now(first semester) I take academic math, geography(not sure why), drama then academic English. I decided to take academic so that if I had went for a job and they required academic classes I would already have them. What I'm trying to say is that high school is only four years, so work hard and get a good job and the agriculture apprenticeship program is 4 years I'm gonna do a 4 credit co op so I can finish the co op hours and start my apprenticeship early.

  • @Hiperf

    Transfer tube nut. I don't think that's correct. I believe you tighten the nut first to something like 11lb to seat it in the injector. Then tighten the injector to 89in lb. And then finish the nut off at 37lb.

    • @Hiperf
      @Hiperf 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also I think once you know the tube is lined up you are to tighten the injector down first to so many in lbs to make sure the injector is seated before you continue with the 11lb on the nut

    • @fazicapone6931
      @fazicapone6931 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      44 seat in the injectors then back of the nuts.
      Feed tube 11lb .then 89in/lb injectors
      Final feed tube 37 ft . Done

      It's a joke. Sort of.... If you seriously can't get to that point without a video, you should be bringing it to someone who knows what they are doing. It is not an insult. It is also so there is no boring video of taking things apart for the people who just need a little guidance, but know that counterclockwise takes things apart and clockwise tightens.

      @@DEBOSSGARAGE I understand and respect your view, but I often see condescending behavior of car guys towards non--car guys, which results in them not learning anything because they feel uncomfortable. A dude at my work (he's 24) literally phoned his dad because he did not know how to change a spare. I assisted him (did not laugh, even though I wanted to) and advised him to watch a few channels on TH-cam and told him of a book he could read. Man knows his shit now, had I been rude/sarcastic to him he still would have known nothing. That was the dynamic you see?

As we move forward as a society we have to realize not every little joke is a world changing event meant to demoralize the weak and oppress the misfortunate. So in conclusion as might expect shut up you pussy.
