- Residents of Bole Bamboi in the Northern Region have expressed mixed opinions over the possibility of voting for former MP of the area and current flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama, due to their satisfaction with some of the current government's interventions and programmes.

Honestly, this is really shameful. Even the NDC party office in the town is a shoddy structure. If you can't develop your hometown after many years as a member of parliament, minister of communications, vice President and later President, what can you do for Ghana as a nation? Shameful!

They should think twice. Mahama did the right thing. Go to Nkroful in the Western region, you can not name any plot or infrastracture put up by Kwame Nkrumah. Mahama is a credit to all people in the North. Bole people are lucky to have a humble person like Mahama. Bole people has written their name in Ghana history books. Linman and Mahama has promoted the 3 main tribes of the North that they are the 1st to enter Gold Coast. They are the only tribe in Ghana to rule Ghana with two voted presidents.
