      I’m so glad you found it! You’re not alone ❤️. July will be 3 years since I finished treatment. I’m still doing the lupron shots, exemestane, and zometa infusions. But I’m back at life and feeling good. Different, but good. Will post an update soon!

    I am so glad I found your videos. 7/8/21 I was diagnosed with stage 1a, grade 2 IDC of the left breast. Just did my lumpectomy and sentinel node bx on 7/30. my surgeon doesn't think there is any lymph involvement but I am terrified she is wrong. Know I will just need to suck it up do what is needed if there is involvement but it is so scary. I am an OBGYN nurse and I think sometimes more knowledge is not always good as I tend to go to worst case scenario. I am binge watching your videos and just so appreciate you putting your story out there. I pray you are doing well!

    Tanya, i just watched this. This is Jane (from the UWS, mother to Laila and the twins who were born in 2017), you introduced me to Julie (my lovely LC) and came to our home for CPR training, and I've reached out to you on random questions through the past few years. My profile doesn't show my picture but hopefully you know who I am. You are an amazing human being and force to be reckoned with. You are going to beat this! The world, the women here, as well as your family need you, your energy, skills, strength, passion, and compassion. Your work is not done. Know that I will be sending up prayers for your healing, recovery, and victory over cancer to God. And will be following your progress here. Thank you for sharing. You are so courageous. I am so happy to hear that you are so well supported, you have supported so many people! And even though our path crossed only for brief moments in the past, I always remember what a tremendous help (leading me to Julie) you were and am so appreciative of the compassionate way in which you spoke with me when I was so desperate to nurse my first baby. And I always feel so happy to run into you on the street and feel you are so open to be able to reach when I need an answer from someone trustworthy, like when I reached out to you for reassurance about getting the steroid shot for my twins when I was on bedrest in the hospital. Stay strong! You are loved by many many people, who are rooting and praying for you, including me! You are going to beat this! Sending lots of love.

    Tanya, we have met through the years in our work. As a doula, the first thing is that I want to be of whatever help is helpful. Having been diagnosed while pregnant with my firstborn, your video surely resonated. What I want you to know is that the baby I was carrying when diagnosed is now 33 and just had her own baby 4 weeks ago. Life is very lifey and all your family story is not your story. You are writing your own story. Here for you and sending sustaining, sourcing love.

    Oh Tanya. So much love to you. Thank you for sharing! Question: to be clear. At your mammogram exactly 1 year prior at your first inkling, your breasts were completely clear? There was nothing at all?

    • @manhattanbirth970
      @manhattanbirth970  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Erin Mariotti yes. One year before my mammogram was totally clear. BIRADS 1 which is normal.
