Next video tame another one so you can breed them for mutations and use them for bosses!
If they can go into shield stance when unmounted, then they'll be perfect for bosses. They're kind of like gigas except when you're riding it, you want it to flip out. I feel like one stat that needs a lot of attention is health, because if you're going to take damage to activate adrenaline, then you'll want to have a good amount of health to make sure you don't die regardless. That and especially the alpha bosses deal huge amounts of damage. I reckon these guys could flatten the megapithecus.

This creature is absolutely amazing. I love that it has a unique taming method, and the rage blush is amazing! I am glad the mod creator fixed the saddle... Looks like he did a bit more work on it other than facing the rider forward too. This creature gives the definition to seeing red! The mod creater is a true artist. Now, if Wildcard could somehow come up with a way to offer additions to Ark on console.... I would be wiling to pay for the Ark additions mod for console, especially if I knew it would go to the mod creator.

@@thebestpilot7 considering how much I was willing to pay for Sims 3 and Fallout 4 expansions when I played them, why not? Besides, if most went to the creator, it would be worth it. I don't like the super powered mods, so could care less about those, but ones like this, gimme!
Ark is my favorite game currently. Gets dull, however, with only two main taming methods.
Tracy Rose But mods aren’t about money. Mods are about the community making the game more fun(for some) and letting their imaginations run wild. To make money off selling mods defeats the purpose of it and disgraces the very thing itself

I think their main sentiment was in supporting the creator and their hard work. Just about everything is monetized these days and nothing is truly free so if I have to pay, I would rather pay toward the original creator even if their idea was incorporated by the game company.
Otherwise, I can definitely agree with your argument if the mod creators are doing all of this with the expectation that all of their work should earn them money but selling it within the community where it's expected to be for the good of everyone.

Fantastic video, Syntac! Acrocanthosaurus is actually one of my favorite dinosaurs and always has been. Glad someone actually made a mod for it in ARK, and the technique to tame it is very unique, like the creature itself!

@@starlight0313 I don’t personally play modded ark, but something this complicated should be a strong argument for taming pens, unless it can destroy the pen before it gets tamed / neutralized.
You need to gather everyone to take on a Purple OBS together at one point. That’d make a hell of a video for the Cluster series!

I've found trapping them at the abandoned redwood castle by the red obelisk on valguero works amazingly well. You dont even need to build a trap and they spawn right outside. (I've also found that using a compound bow works really well since it reloads quicky)

I really hope the devs add these as official creatures and if not, add more dinosaurs in general. I think it'd be nice to see dinos rather than the mythical creatures, as much i like them, i just prefer it being only dinosaurs

A lot of creatures that are carnivores and stuff will not attack each other (even asleep ones) I've found
This looks challenging.
That being said, it was definitely a little frustrating to watch too. I felt it wasn't up to your usually calculated standards. Maybe a bit too sporadic and the constantly swiping back and forth to shoot at it when you have such a close time limit to keep him shielded was a little agonizing.
Those things are pretty cool though. I really need to set up mods on my PC for Ark. I would love to try these new dinos and some other stuff.

A cool way you could abuse the adrenaline mode is you can throw down a kentrosaurus unclaimed it and keep biting it

As annoying as they can be, i dont believe in disabling creatures.
I think it is kinda crazy that that attack can break metal, but with turrets it would take too long. If the turrets are unpowered or soaked then c4 can destroy the walls almost immediately with very little work required. Turrets don’t do crap against a titanosaur, so that can just walk over a metal base. I still don’t see a benefit from this as opposed to rockets or c4. Go ahead and tell me if you disagree.
Imagine this...
You have one of these beasties in pvp, high level, lots of health. You have a living battering ram with the ability to oak damage that is very large. Turrets focus on it, ignoring tiny humans. Your tribe raids successfully with less casualties. Not that I play servers, much less pvp, but I can definitely see a use.

1. stegos do the same thing for soaking
2. The turrets refocus after each shot so you have to wait until they are fully soaked vs. just rocketing turrets, and it’s easier to get rockets than an acro.
3. It would take sooooo many resources to tame on official, you could tame 10 high level stegos in the same time.
4. One HUGE bonus of a stego is that a flyer can pick it up to drop on a base, but you can’t pick up something that is 100 feet long.
There isn’t a reason to use it over a stego or trike for soaking, as the rider is protected. Trike is one of the earliest game games and has very low torpor. They also can both use veggie cakes, which replenish their health super fast.
It is also very easy to fire a few rockets at turrets from a distance or chug a beer and c4 the doors and take little resources, just a decent flak set and 2 c4.
5. Why would you try and disagree with me when you 1. don’t play that much and 2. Don’t play pvp? I was just telling syn because I have a lot more pvp experience than him. If he wants to have fun on an acro, I’m all for it.
Didn't disagree. Just stated what potentials I could see. Admittedly, I refuse to even try pvp games again. Too many trolls, which ruins enjoyment of a game. So, as I said, no experience. But, as a single player who is beating the game solo with color blended, high stat dinos, I can also say not every dino has to be useful. Sometimes, it is great to have one that just looks good!
Tracy Rose 🥀 has to be one of my favorite games on this my favorite game it’s super cool game I wanna was the first one I got to on u of the course and I would have a good chance to see it and then we will go back in and get it back if I wanna it is just a bit more than I it “pears” I wanna is a great day is your yei is your a way to go to the park with the kids in the school and then y to me and then you only know me and I can do something for ya goose and you can pick me a big one or whatever but you can have a lot more fun and I can just walk you to my life I wanna see ya next year and then you have a good night I wanna see ya goose is a little too long and it’s hard for ya goose down the side hits you like a lot ya know what you wanna see it in a bit better and better then you have to wait to get to it again and you have a lot more of tricks to do it and then you can pick it up and then you can pick it up and then you can pick it up and then you can pick up your a lot and then we can you can pick up the kids at the park if ya can get. So like, yesterday I tamed a griffin, Level 1. I figured out regular meat took 0.01%. Then prime did 0.06%. I didn’t wanna make allo kibble. I tamed it, but I still need to tame a female. It took 3 hours max.
Then you must not be very good at knocking it out lol. A gryphon with raw takes about an hour at level 1. So it took you 2 hours to knock out a griffin?
