Great review. The things that made the most lasting impression on me - 1. The black ceramic bezel glows like a beautiful piano. It’s simplicity & Arabic numbers are so classic. Plus the coin edge grip is really nice. 2. Thanks for sharing the adjustable bracelet. That’s so much better than my Planet Ocean GMT which, like your diver, only allows one extension. 3. The lollipop second hand, alone, is worth buying the watch for. Not sure why I like it so much. It’s mesmerizing. 4. I like the oversized crown. The watch, as a whole, reminds me of my Tudor Black Bay Blue. No date. Oversized crown. Simple. Classic. But the Omega quality and anti-magnetic properties and exhibition back make it a superior timepiece.
Absolutely beautiful. Very good choice, I just bought my first seamaster and couldn't justify spending over $2,500 for this one but in a few years I'll be seriously looking at that model. Thanks for the great video.
Thank you Mark, I’m sure it be worth it, I think it’s a great price for what it is compared to others I’ve seen. Been really hard to get hold of one in the U.K. especially
Hello, pleased you liked the video. Do check out my others. You may find the one about changing between the NATO strap and bracelet useful when yours arrives.
Thanks for your comment and for watching. Do check out my other videos about this watch if you haven't already. I may well look at doing a follow up video in 6 months or a year. Also if I get any other NATO straps I may do videos to show them and how they change the look of the watch, so stay tuned.
Also bent to allow the Nato strap to slide in more easily. Otherwise would be too tight the fit the Omega Nato straps. They are thicker then the generic ones.
Great review. Great watch. Great investment. You bought your watch for $6637 (today's rate; you paid 4785GBP). Less than a year later, they run for $9000 on eBay. Well done. But I have the feeling you're not considering selling ;-). I wouldn't. Thanks again. I drooled.
another great video. I am very lucky to own this watch to and your first video was the deciding factor to make this purchasel I would love to see a video on how to change the strap. Keep up the good work
Thanks for this video. I managed to change mine from the SS bracelet to the Nato this afternoon, with help from this post.. I'm so happy with it on the Nato strap, looks and feels great. I've only had mine for two weeks. I feel proud & lucky to own it.. Nice one cheers 👍
Hello, thanks for watching and for the comment. Yes the 007 on the NATO strap is fine, it's too small to see during general wear unless you turn your wrist over and specifically point it out to people. The 007 on the metal bracelet is definitely more overt though and noticeable which is a shame in some ways given that the rest of the watch is so subtle. However, 99% of the time I'll be wearing this watch with the NATO strap so it doesn't matter that much to me.
Nice video, nice watch, i handled one in Singapore, I think it looks best on the bracelet the only thing I would need to get used to is the lolly pop seconds hand pointer, i kinda dont like the lolly pop, But it has to be said that the Hour and minute hands are absolutely stunning possibly the nicest ive ever seen and I own, Rolex, JLC, Breitling, Cartier, Hublot, Rado.
What I’ve found with mine is if your dancing with a lady it tends to undo her dress zip, the Rolex sub tends to loosen knicker elastic also strange but true, I prefer this watch to the sub and it a lot rarer
Well done video! I had the 300 on the wrist in steel and titanium. Like the bracelet of your version better - without the polished center links. Wear it in good health. Cheers
Yes I must say I do prefer the fully brushed stainless steel bracelet in design and finish compared to the standard versions which have polished details.
Another nice video Mark…. Still have mine in its box with all the tags on and itching to wear it but resisting the temptation just incase someone offers me some decent price…
Another informative video Mark 😀 just a quick question though, I notice on both your bracelets you have most of the links removed, what size in cm are your wrists ? I am looking at the 300m (41cm) but have small wrists (170cm) and wondered on fit. I totally agree with your justification for spending £5000 on a watch; it will continue to work after 50 years 😀 thanks for your time
Nice video. Can you do a video changing straps. I'm having a hard time. The pins go flying out. And I'm having hard time installing steel bracelet ends
Hello, yes I am looking at filming a "how to" video next weekend to cover that subject. It is tricky when you've not done it before but I managed to get someone at Omega to show me the correct way to do it. So as I say I will most likely look to film that next weekend. The important thing is to take your time and not force anything otherwise you can end up scratching the casing or stabbing your fingers with the fork tool (something I did a number of times when I first tried).
Man! I'm not a watch guy, but this one is sexy as fuck! If it wasn't because it is so freaking expensive I would have one of those on my wrist right now! Beautiful watch!
Thanks watching and the comment. Yes it is indeed both beautiful and expensive as any high end watch is, I've no regrets though and am loving it every time I wear it.
+ViewsFromMark You know quite a bit about watches. Do they ever drop in price or can I expect this watch to be around $7000 for ever? Like let's say in 5 years time I decide to buy this watch, would it be significantly cheaper or only a few hundred bucks cheaper? Great review by the way!
If you aren't too worried about the 007 aspect of the watch, you can buy something similar for a lot less. The Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial with a NATO strap is something you may be interested in. To answer your question, since the watch is limited edition, chances are, it won't go down in price very much.
+WANTZiN you will lose money on this, although it will always hold a reasonable fraction of the value in the future. The ordinary version is better bang per buck. Not everyone will want one that says 007 on it so its resale market is a bit more limited. You would do better buying a sports Rolex if you want to keep the resale value nearer 90%. However if you intend to keep the watch for ever and you like James Bond films, this is a great watch to own. At least watches are a better way of spending money than a car or clothing. A few select models of patek or Rolex will gain value beyond their original price if you wait long enough and by a popular model like a submariner gmt2 or Daytona. Omega are a good watch and I love the brand but faced with parting with my 5 grand I'd go Rolex for a first time buy/ investment then omega if you just want to feel like mr Bond.
Where as most other "Bond Watches" will not necessarily have retained value, this one is unique for several reasons as detailed in the videos. Those combined with the extreme limited number of units and the speed they sold out, this will hold its value if not continue to increase. When it comes to this specific timepiece however, even on the second hand market from specialist watch suppliers has already increased in value from anywhere between £1,000 - £5,200.
Hi Marck, a great review,I have like you a seamaster 300 blue ,and I am going to get the Spectre limited edition next week i have a question if its possible to change only the clasp whit the 007 logo instead of the regular seamaster 300 clasp, thanks
i have a victorinox infantry mechanical with a 23mm lug, would it be better to opt for a 24mm nato strap or a 22mm nato strap ? i personally would prefer it larger than having the 1mm gap. but what is your take on this ? thank you.
What do you think of the luminescent markers? It does not seem as bright to me as my pre ceramic Rolex Sub or Breitling colt automatic. Does not seem to last as long either. What is your experience.
I'm still thinking if it's worth the price since its limited and I love the look. Especially with the NATO. Price is almost similar to a submariner 114060.. I'm confused what to buy 😭
Hi, thanks for the question. I got the 41mm size. The best thing it to try them on and see which size suits you. I've found that even with smaller wrists, the larger size looks better. It's personal preference though.
Hello, thanks for watching and the question. Originally when new this was on sale for £4,750 which at today’s exchange rate would be roughly USD $5,854. Today even second hand they are selling at £8,500 - £9,000+ (USD $10,477 - $11,093+).
Hello, I do indeed still have this watch and I wear it a couple of times a week as I alternate between it and the Seamaster Professional 300M. Still absolutely love it is a keeper for sure. Whilst I'd never sell it, it's nice to know the value has gone up as much as it has.
@ViewsFromMark: So awesome to hear. I've admired this watch for so long, but as you said the value of it has kept increasing, and now you can't buy one for under $10,000 US, unless it's without box and papers. If you ever do decide to sell it, let me know. Until then, wear it in good health 👍🏼 Cheers!
i watch this video every night and cry.
im in love with this watch.

So excited, I'm only roughtly £7k away from affording this!
Thats one drop dead beautiful watch just oozes class and style in a very understated presentation. Gorgeous.
Absolutely beautiful. Very good choice, I just bought my first seamaster and couldn't justify spending over $2,500 for this one but in a few years I'll be seriously looking at that model. Thanks for the great video.
If this was slimmer it would be the perfect watch - such classic styling, beautiful hands and bezel
Thanks for the review Q!
Just saw this video and man that is one beautiful watch. I absolutely love the vintage look.
Just purchased a brand new unworn one today for £9400, double retail from what it was but love it, cant wait for it to arrive
Congratulations. Hope you enjoy it!
Thank you Mark, I’m sure it be worth it, I think it’s a great price for what it is compared to others I’ve seen. Been really hard to get hold of one in the U.K. especially
Thanks for the great detailed videos! They pushed me over the mark and I placed my order for this watch! I can't wait!
Hello, pleased you liked the video. Do check out my others. You may find the one about changing between the NATO strap and bracelet useful when yours arrives.
What about the grenade function? You haven't shown. Nice watch btw.
From all Omega pieces this is the one I like the most. I would like to see your report after 6 months and 1 year of using the watch. Great review.
Thanks for your comment and for watching. Do check out my other videos about this watch if you haven't already.
I may well look at doing a follow up video in 6 months or a year. Also if I get any other NATO straps I may do videos to show them and how they change the look of the watch, so stay tuned.
the best looking omega watch?
Also bent to allow the Nato strap to slide in more easily. Otherwise would be too tight the fit the Omega Nato straps. They are thicker then the generic ones.

Great re view of the watch very clear covering all aspects about the watch. I enjoyed it.

Nice review! All reviews should be done like this. Please make more :)

Hello thanks for the comment. Pleased you like the videos and that they came in handy. :-)
Looks AWESOME, a beautiful watch indeed...
It's a great looking watch; I'm glad they showed so much restraint with the branding; the 007 on the bracelet would put me off wearing that though.
Hello, thanks for watching and for the comment.

lol! 😂👏🏻
Thank you for sharing. It's probably one of the most beautiful Omegas on your wrist.
Well done video!
I had the 300 on the wrist in steel and titanium.

You should wear it and enjoy it. These watches are made to be worn, shame to keep it hidden away.
Looooove this watch. It's so expensive now (15k euros) but if you are lucky to have on, keep it :) Daniel Craig Approved it

So nice. Tastefully done for a limited edition. Cheers for getting in on the ground floor ;-)
Beautiful Omega, wear it in good health !
Nice video, thanks. The spring bars look bent. Is that by design? Thanks.

How many clicks is the Spectre bezel? 60 or 120? Thanks
Hello, it’s 120 clicks on the bezel. 🙂👍🏻
Hi Mark, great review , by the way what size is your wrist?
What size is your 300m? I'm trying to decided between the mid and the full. Currently leaning towards the mid size, my wrist is tiny..
Hi, thanks for the question. I got the 41mm size.
The best thing it to try them on and see which size suits you. I've found that even with smaller wrists, the larger size looks better. It's personal preference though.
+ViewsFromMark Why are the spring bars bent?
+BeautyofScent as covered in a previous comment, for the NATO strap the spring bars do have a slight bend to them, to distribute pressure more evenly.
I love this watch
Can we get an idea of the price?
Great review pal, I've actually seen this available on Watch U Want on Facebook, as a high end rep and it looks pretty much identical lol
+Omar Sade A homage or a rep?
Loftty OG No on sale mate as a super rep. i picked one up and i absolutely love it.
Did the steel bracelet come with the watch in addition to the nato strap?
Yes it does, all explained in the video
Hello Mark, how much did you pay for ir back then? Now its over 10k dlls !!
Hello, thanks for watching and the question. Originally when new this was on sale for £4,750 which at today’s exchange rate would be roughly USD $5,854.
Today even second hand they are selling at £8,500 - £9,000+ (USD $10,477 - $11,093+).
Crazy :( but this watch is so lovely
does it do anything ? :o)
It tells the time :-P
It tells the time.
1986 hell yea!! :D
Hi Mark,
Do you still have this watch, or have you sold it? If you still have it, would you say it's a keeper?
Hello, I do indeed still have this watch and I wear it a couple of times a week as I alternate between it and the Seamaster Professional 300M.
Still absolutely love it is a keeper for sure. Whilst I'd never sell it, it's nice to know the value has gone up as much as it has.
@ViewsFromMark: So awesome to hear. I've admired this watch for so long, but as you said the value of it has kept increasing, and now you can't buy one for under $10,000 US, unless it's without box and papers. If you ever do decide to sell it, let me know. Until then, wear it in good health 👍🏼
Cheers!
Lol I'm jealous😂😂😂😂
Does it detonate though😊
spring bars look slightly bent
Yes they are, for the NATO strap the spring bars do have a slight bend to them, to distribute the pressure evenly.
Aw I thought too much pressure was applied to the spring bars which caused them to bend.
Cool learned something new cheers
stunning watch injoy
Only if it comes with the bomb setting
+D.J. El Magnifico 'Loud alarm'*
Did you pay that $11.000 price for that?
It didn't cost that much when it was first released in 2015 which was when he got it. It cost more now of course in the preowned market.
i wonder who has the 1986
cuz its the year i born as well
