Also be sure to check the ground cable under the passenger side. The cable get rusty and breaks easily. Just buy a new cheap cable, sand or grind down the rust from the frame and replace the old cable. Sometimes that is all you need.

Ha, been searching for this info, You're right, I was looking near the spare tire. That's funny I just changed the fuel filter today, not a mechanic... I didn't see the module tho, Thanks Bud!
Gonna go look there on my 1997 E350. Will report back in a few minutes. Thanks so far ! On my 1997 Rust free, 75,000 mile 1 ton… nope ! The filter is right there against the frame. Open to all suggestions, pulled down the spare as well, dug around. Nuthin! Thanks though.
I was thinking mine was by the spare tire, would have been so much easier, my 2013 E-350 has running boards along both sides making it difficult to get under the van at all. Thanks for the video!!
I have a 1997 E350, figured i should check this part, winter coming...snow belt, don't need to get stuck. Looked all over for it.....went to Dorman website.Only applicable to 2004 to 2011.

Thanks! I looked in the repair manual, but couldn't find it.
And it rains -_-

I am having the same problem. it cranks but wont start. how did you get it to start?
Once I changed it, it started right away. But I have seen in other cases that some times you have you check the fuse or even change the pump.
